This study aims to identify and analyses the regulation and implementation of Good Corporate Governance or good corporate governance for mutual insurance companies in Indonesia. And to find out what the responsibilities of the statutory manager appointed by the OJK that are to restructure AJB Bumiputera towards the application of good corporate governance principles. This research was conducted using a normative juridical approach because it uses library materials as the main material, namely primary legal materials consisting of basic norms or rules, provisions of laws and regulations relating to the principles of Good Corporate Governance, especially in insurance companies. The results show that the application of the principles of Good Corporate Governance at AJB Bumiputera has been carried out in accordance with the company's articles of association, but it is still not optimal and adequate due to the absence of regulations that specifically regulate the Mutual Insurance Business in Indonesia. The statutory manager's responsibility for implementing the principles of good corporate governance has been carried out with maximum efforts, although it has not been in line with expectations. Seadil-adilnya putusan yang dijatuhkan hakim, akan dianggap dan dirasa adil oleh pihak yang menang. Lain halnya dengan perdamaian, hasil perdamaian yang tulus berdasarkan kesepakatan bersama dari pihak yang bersengketa. Permasalahannya, bagaimanakah pentingnya pemberdayaan penyelesaian perkara perceraian melalui mediasi di Pengadilan Agama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu yuridis normatif. Asas-asas hukum menampakkan diri ke permukaan melalui aturan hukum. Asas hukum juga dapat mengalami perubahan, perubahan asas hukum sangat lambat dibandingkan dengan peraturan hukum. Penyelesaian mediasi di Pengadilan Agama dapat mengantarkan para pihak pada perwujudan kesepakatan damai yang permanen dan lestari, mengingat penyelesaian sengketa melalui mediasi menempatkan kedua belah pihak pada posisi yang sama. Fakta di Pengadilan Agama bahwa tidak semua hakim mempunyai bakat dan keterampilan dalam melaksanakan tugas sebagai mediator terutama yang belum pernah mendapatkan pelatihan secara profesional. Ruangan mediasi yang kecil dengan fasilitas minim seperti kursi dan penataan ruangan yang belum memenuhi syarat ruangan mediasi sehingga mempengaruhi hasil dari mediasi.

Bagaimana Tinjauan Yuridis Peran bank sampah dalam pengelolaan sampah sebagai upaya pencegahan pencemaran lingkungan di kota pekanbaru dan bagaimana hambatan dalam pengelolaan sampah sebagai upaya pencegahan pencemaran lingkungan di kota pekanbaru. Jenis penelitian ini adalah sosiologis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa peran Bank Sampah dalam pengelolaan sampah sebagai upaya pencegahan pencemaran lingkungan di Kota Pekanbaru belum dapat dilaksanakan secara optimal. Peran Bank Sampah dalam pengelolaan sampah di masyarakat belum berjalan secara maksimal dikarenakan adanya beberapa hambatan sebagai berikut : Pandangan masyarakat yang menganggap sampah sebagai benda yang tidak berguna lagi dan tidak memiliki nilai ekonomi. Hasil autopsi forensik dalam Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Acara Pidana (KUHAP) dapat dimungkinkan menjadi alat bukti baik dalam bentuk keterangan ahli dan/atau surat (visum et repertum). Peranan penegak hukum seperti advokat, kepolisian, jaksa (penuntut umum) dan hakim sangat penting dengan berbagai aspek perbedaan peranannya. Hasil autopsi forensik memiliki dasar hukum yang tegas di dalam KUHAP. Autopsi forensik sangat penting untuk menerangkan sebab akibat kematian seseorang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode normatif dengan pendekatan taraf sinkronisasi hukum. Penelitian hukum normatif didefinisikan penelitian yang mengacu kepada norma-norma hukum yang terdapat dalam peraturan perundang-undangan maupun putusan pengadilan. Penelitian hukum normatif bisa juga disebut sebagai penelitian hukum doktrinal. This article examines the liability of land transportation providers for passengers' annoyance resulting from delays. Article 186 of the Traffic Law and Transportation Code obligated every public vehicle to transport passengers following an agreement. In reality, however, there were still businesses that were not meeting their obligations. The purpose of this study was to explain the causes of the delay and the company's liability as a result of the delay. This study employed empirical legal research methods and a sociological law perspective. The study revealed that the terminal operator's management of services was suboptimal, the drivers were unprofessional, the vehicle's engine malfunctioned, and passengers were picked up outside the terminal, but the land transportation companies that caused the delay were not responsible for their passengers and did not offer compensation. This case required the Service Unit Coordinator of the Bus Station in Banda Aceh to be resolute in following up on the Land Transportation Management Center's warnings to revoke the permits of irresponsible companies toward passengers due to their negligence.

This study aims to identify local wisdom in the Meranti Islands Regency. The method used in this research is a juridical-normative research which focuses on library data research. The normative juridical approach, namely the method used by adhering to the juridical aspects, by carrying out an inventory of positive laws relating to the problems studied. Juridically, local governments have the authority to increase the capacity of local wisdom or traditional knowledge and the rights of local wisdom or traditional knowledge related to the environment in the regencies/cities. Local wisdom in Meranti Islands Regency, there are approximately 300 types of local wisdom. Of these, they can be grouped into 5 (five) major groups. Namely, local wisdom related to agriculture, local wisdom in the culinary field, local wisdom in the natural resource management sector (peat), local wisdom in the field of traditional games and sports, and local wisdom in the field of fisheries and marine affairs.

ABSTRACTThis paper seeks to examine the urgency of harmonization of draft regional regulations by analyzing the challenges and strategies for the formation of Indonesian laws and regulations in the context of strengthening regional autonomy. The results of the discussion show how important the process of harmonization of regional regulations is, in order to avoid overlapping various other regulations so that later regional regulations comply with the principle of establishing regional regulations. In addition, there are challenges in the harmonization process where the long and non-uniform bureaucratic process causes the harmonization process to take a long time. So that a strategy is needed to overcome this where the importance of increasing knowledge of human resources in local governments is related to the preparation of regional regulations. Therefore, it is important to institutionalize institutions regarding the harmonization of legal products in the regions, so that regional governments in the context of carrying out regional autonomy and specialties are not held hostage and dependent on the central government.KEYWORDS: Urgency of Harmonization, Regional Regulations, Challenges and Strategies, Regional Autonomy. ABSTRAKTulisan ini berusaha untuk mengkaji Urgensi Harmonisasi Rancangan Peraturan Daerah dengan menganalisis Tantangan dan Strategi Pembentukan Peraturan Perundang-undangan Indonesia Dalam Rangka Penguatan Otonomi Daerah. Hasil pembahasan menunjukan betapa pentingnya proses harmonisasi peraturan daerah, agar menghindari overlapping berbagai regulasi lainnya sehingga nantinya peraturan daerah taat akan asas pembentukan peraturan daerah. Selain itu terdapat tantangan dalam proses harmonisasi dimana proses birokrasi yang panjang dan tidak satu pintu menyebabkan rentang proses harmonisasi memakan waktu yang cukup lama. Sehingga diperlukan sebuah strategi mengatasi hal tersebut dimana pentingnya meningkatkan pengetahuan sumber daya manusia di pemerintah daerah terkait dengan penyusunan peraturan daerah. Oleh karenanya penting melembagakan kelembagaan mengenai harmonisasi produk hukum di daerah, agar pemerintah daerah dalam rangka menjalankan otonomi dan kekhususan daerah tidak tersandera dan bergantung kepada pemerintah pusat.KATA KUNCI : Urgensi Harmonisasi, Peraturan Daerah, Tantangan dan Strategi, Otonomi Daerah.

The goal of this research is to describe mediation as an alternative technique of conflict settlement under customary law, in both criminal and civil matters. Dispute resolution processes based on customary law play an important role in decreasing litigation. Mediation is a cornerstone of traditional law-based dispute settlement. This study uses descriptive qualitative research to better understand the phenomenon of mediation as an alternative form of conflict settlement under customary law. The data was gathered through a literature review and document analysis. The technique of data analysis employed in this study was a qualitative descriptive technique based on Miles and Huberman's interactive model. The findings reveal that mediation aids indigenous people in three ways: (i) maintaining ownership of conflicts; (ii) utilizing parts of customary law and practice; and (iii) finding a solution that is consistent with their cultural values. Furthermore, it appears that in traditional civilizations, mediators strive to guarantee that "peace and harmony prevail in society" because of the agreement. As a result, people who still adhere to customary law may employ customary law mediation as an alternate means of settling problems
