Substitution of natural feed with artificial feed on the survival rate and growth rate of giant-snakehead Channa micropeltes 人工饲料替代天然饲料对大蛇头鳢微球成活率和生长率的影响

The purpose of this study was to determine the best percentage of artificial feed substitution for growth and survival rate of giant-snakehead. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 levels of artificial feed substitution dose treatment, namely 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%, and control (without artificial substitution). The feed used in the form of fresh trash fish mixed with artificial feed FF-999 with a protein content of 35%. The results showed that the control treatment (100% trash fish) gave the best survival rate and spesific growth rate of 75% and 2.12%/day, respectively. Meanwhile, the percentage of artificial feed substitution treatment which gave the best survival rate and specific growth rate was found in the substitution percentage treatment of 25% artificial feed with a survival rate of 66.67% and a daily weight growth rate of 1.89%/day. Substitution of 100% artificial feed caused death with a 0% survival rate. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan perlakuan 4 level dosis substitusi pakan buatan yaitu 25%, 50%, 75% dan 100% serta 1 kontrol (tanpa substitusi pakan buatan). Sementara untuk perlakuan persentase substitusi pakan buatan yang memberikan tingkat kelangsungan hidup dan laju pertumbuhan terbaik terdapat pada perlakuan persentase substitusi sebesar 25% pakan buatan dengan tingkat kelangsungan hidup 66.67% dan laju pertumbuhan berat harian 1.89%/hari. 本研究的目的是确定人工饲料替代比例对巨蛇头鱼生长和成活率的影响。本研究采用完全随机设计(CRD),采用4个水平的人工饲料替代剂量处理,分别为25%、50%、75%、100%和对照(无人工替代)。饲料采用新鲜垃圾鱼与蛋白质含量为35%的人工饲料FF-999混合的形式。结果表明,对照处理(100%垃圾鱼)的成活率和特定生长率最高,分别为75%和2.12%/d。同时,在25%人工饲料替代率处理下,获得了最佳的成活率和特定生长率,成活率为66.67%,日增重率为1.89%/d。100%人工饲料替代导致死亡,成活率为0%。关键词:人工饲料,饲料替代,巨蛇头,存活率,生长Penelitian ini menggunakan ranancan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan perlakuan 4水平剂量替代pakan buatan yaitu 25%, 50%, 75%和100% serta 1对照(tanpa sutitusi pakan buatan)。Pakan yang digunakan berupan ikan rucah segar dicampur dengan Pakan buatan berupa颗粒dengan标记FF-999 berkadar蛋白35%。Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan control(100%)成员kan tingkat kelangsungan hidup dan laju pertumbuhan berat harian terbaik masing-masing sebesar 75% dan 2.12%/hari。Sementara untuk perlakuan代表酶替代品pakan buatan yang成员kan tingkat kelangsungan hidup dan laju pertumbuhan terbaik terdapa perlakuan代表酶替代品sebesar 25% pakan buatan dengan tingkat kelangsungan hidup 66.67% dan laju pertumbuhan beratian 1.89%/hari。代用品100%巴基斯坦buatan menyebabkan kematian dengan tingkat kelangsungan hidup 0%。Kata kunci: ikkan toman, kelangsungan hidup, laju pertumbuhan, pakan buatan,代用pakan。

The effectiveness of cinnamon powder and cinnamon leaf extract to prevent Aeromonas hydrophila infection on striped catfish Pangasianodon hypophthalamus 肉桂粉和肉桂叶提取物对下眼鲶鱼嗜水气单胞菌感染的预防作用

Striped catfish Pangasianodon hypophthalamus is one of the intensive cultured commodities. Disease outbreak becomes inevitable to prevent in a fish culture. One of the most frequent disease occurred in striped catfish is the motile aeromonas septicemia (MAS) disease caused by Aeromonas hydrophila. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of 1% dietary cinnamon powder and 0.5% dietary cinnamon leaf extract on the immune response of striped catfish challenged with A. hydrophila. Striped catfish used in this study sizing of 5.80 ± 0.21 g. This study contained two phases, namely in vitro and in vivo tests. In vitro test contained inhibition zone and antibacterial tests, which demonstrates that 1% cinnamon powder and 0.5% cinnamon leaf extract are effective to inhibit A. hydrophila activity. In vivo test contained four treatments, i.e fish fed with 1% cinnamon leaf powder supplemented diet; 0.5% cinnamon leaf extract supplemented diet, positive control diet, and negative control diet. Each treatment was performed in three replications. The result showed that 1% cinnamon leaf powder supplemented diet obtained the best results to enhance the immune response of striped catfish higher survival rate value at 83.33% than the positive control diet (P<0.05). ABSTRAK Ikan patin Pangasianodon hypophthalamus termasuk komoditas yang banyak dibudidayakan secara intensif. Kendala budidaya seperti penyakit pun sulit untuk dihindari. Salah satu jenis penyakit yang kerap menyerang ikan patin yaitu penyakit MAS (motile aermomonad septicaemia) yang disebabkan oleh Aeromonas hydrophila. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas 1% (w/w) tepung dan 0,5% (w/w) ekstrak daun kayu manis dalam pakan sebagai upaya pencegahan infeksi bakteri A. hydrophila pada ikan patin. Hasil uji in vitro terhadap aktivitas antibakteri menunjukkan bahwa dosis 1% (w/w) tepung daun kayu manis dan 0.5% (w/w) ekstrak daun kayu manis efektif dalam menghambat pertumbuhan A. hydrophila. Uji in vivo terdiri atas empat perlakuan yaitu pemberian pakan dengan penambahan tepung daun kayu manis 1% (w/w), pemberian pakan dengan penambahan ekstrak daun kayu manis 0,5% (w/w), kontrol positif, dan kontrol negatif  dengan masing-masing perlakuan terdiri atas tiga ulangan. 下眼鲶鱼是一种集约化养殖商品。在鱼类养殖中,疾病爆发是不可避免的。由嗜水气单胞菌引起的运动性气单胞菌败血症(MAS)是条纹鲶鱼最常见的疾病之一。本试验旨在评价饲粮中添加1%肉桂粉和0.5%肉桂叶提取物对嗜水直纹鲶鱼免疫应答的影响。本研究中使用的条纹鲶鱼的大小为5.80±0.21 g。本研究分为体外试验和体内试验两个阶段。体外实验包括抑菌区和抑菌试验,结果表明,1%肉桂粉和0.5%肉桂叶提取物均能有效抑制嗜水单胞菌活性。体内试验分为4个处理,分别饲喂1%肉桂叶粉添加饲料;添加0.5%肉桂叶提取物的饲粮、阳性对照饲粮和阴性对照饲粮。每次治疗进行3个重复。结果表明,1%肉桂叶粉添加饲料对条纹鲶鱼免疫应答的增强效果最好,成活率为83.33%,高于阳性对照饲料(P<0.05)。关键词:嗜水气单胞菌;缅氏肉桂;提取物;摘要/ abstract摘要:我国对穿山甲(Pangasianodon hypophthalamus termasuk komoditas yang banyak)的研究。Kendala budidaya seperti penyakit pun suit untuk dihindari。Salah satu jenis penyakit yang kerap menyerang ikan patin yitu penyakit MAS(运动性空气单胞菌败血症)yang disebabkan oleh嗜水气单胞菌。Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas 1% (w/w) tepung dan 0,5% (w/w) ekstrak dawu manis dalam pakan sebagai upaya penegahan infeksi bakteri A.亲水性paada ikan patiin。Ikan patitin yang digunakan berukuran 5,80±0.21 g。penpenlitian ini terdiri dua tahap yaituji体外和体内uji。哈苏吉体外抗巴氏杆菌活性为1% (w/w),特蓬丹参和0.5% (w/w),特蓬丹参和0.5% (w/w)。Uji体内terdii数据显示,perlakuan yaitu pemberian pakan dangan penambahan tepunang daumayu manis 1% (w/w), pemberian pakan dengan penambahan ekstrak daumayu manis 0.5% (w/w),对照阳性,对照阴性(dengan masing-masing perlakuan terdii tiga ulangan)。Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan 1% (w/w) tepung dawu manis dalam pakan memberikan Hasil terbaik dalam meningkatkan反应免疫ikan patin dengan tingkat kelangsungan hidup sebesar 83,33% lebih tinggi dibandingkan对照阳性(P< 0.05)。Kata kunci:嗜水气单胞菌,缅甸肉桂,ekstrak, Pangasianodon hypophthalmus, tepung

Productivity and quality of Moina sp. cultivated with various culture medium 不同培养基栽培木参的产量和品质

Cultivation of Moina sp is still constrained by its quality, productivity, and sustainability. The alternative solution is the use of cultivation media materials that have high nutritional content and easily available in large quantities to support the quality and productivity of Moina sp. and meet the needs of live feed. The objective of the study was to evaluate the effect of various culture medium on the productivity and nutritional quality of Moina sp.. Five culture media were tested in laboratory scale, i.e. organic ingredient (BO), Chlorella sp. (Ch), Chlorella sp. + organic ingredients (ChBO), biofloc (BF) and biofloc + organic ingredients (BFBO). While in mass scale, four culture media were tested, i.e. Chlorella sp. (Ch), Chlorella sp. + Organic Ingredients (ChBO), Biofloc (BF) and Biofloc + Organic Ingredients (BFBO). The peaks of Moina sp. density in different treatments were achieved in different days. ChBO treatments significantly had higher productivity (P<0.05). The highest protein content was found in Moina sp. cultured with ChBO media, even higher than artemia. Moina sp. cultured with Chlorella sp. (Ch) showed the highest PUFA (Poly Unsaturated Fatty Acids) contents, while the highest MUFA (mono unsaturated fatty acids) contents was obtained from Moina sp. cultured with BFBO media lower than artemia. The study results indicates that different culture media produces different productivity and nutrient quality of Moina sp. The organic material combination of Chlorella sp. + organic material (ChBO) was the best media to improve the productivity and protein quality of Moina sp.    Keywords : Biofloc, Chlorella sp., Moina sp., organic matter, productivity, quality   ABSTRAK   Budidaya Moina sp. masih terkendala pada kualitas, produktivitas dan kestabilan dalam ketersediaannya. Untuk itu diperlukan penggunaan bahan media budidaya yang memiliki kandungan nutrisi tinggi dan mudah didapat dalam jumlah banyak untuk mendukung kualitas dan produktivitas Moina sp. demi memenuhi kebutuhan pakan hidup. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengevaluasi pengaruh berbagai media budidaya terhadap produktivitas dan kualitas nutrisi Moina sp. Lima media kultur yang diuji dalam penelitian laboratorium yaitu Bahan Organik (BO), Chlorella sp. (Ch), Chlorella sp. + Bahan Organik (ChBO), Bioflok (BF) dan Bioflok + Bahan Organik (BFBO). Sedangkan pada penelitian skala massal diuji empat media kultur yaitu Chlorella sp. (Ch), Chlorella sp. + Bahan Organik (ChBO), Bioflok (BF) dan Bioflok + Bahan Organik (BFBO). Puncak kepadatan Moina sp. pada tiap perlakuan dicapai pada hari yang berbeda. Perlakuan ChBO memiliki produktivitas yang lebih tinggi (P<0,05). Kandungan protein Moina sp. tertinggi ditemukan pada media ChBO dan bahkan lebih tinggi dari pada artemia. Moina sp. yang dibudidayakan dengan Chlorella sp. The objective of the study was to evaluate the effect of various culture medium on the productivity and nutritional quality of Moina sp.. Five culture media were tested in laboratory scale, i.e. organic ingredient (BO), Chlorella sp. (Ch), Chlorella sp. + organic ingredients (ChBO), biofloc (BF) and biofloc + organic ingredients (BFBO). While in mass scale, four culture media were tested, i.e. Chlorella sp. (Ch), Chlorella sp. + Organic Ingredients (ChBO), Biofloc (BF) and Biofloc + Organic Ingredients (BFBO). The peaks of Moina sp. density in different treatments were achieved in different days. ChBO treatments significantly had higher productivity (P<0.05). The highest protein content was found in Moina sp. cultured with ChBO media, even higher than artemia. Moina sp. cultured with Chlorella sp. (Ch) showed the highest PUFA (Poly Unsaturated Fatty Acids) contents, while the highest MUFA (mono unsaturated fatty acids) contents was obtained from Moina sp. cultured with BFBO media lower than artemia. The study results indicates that different culture media produces different productivity and nutrient quality of Moina sp. Cellulase hydrolyzed Indigofera zolingeriana leaf utilization as a feed ingredient for gourami fingerling 纤维素酶水解紫靛叶在gourami鱼种饲料中的应用

This study was aimed to evaluate the utilization of hydrolyzed Indigofera zolingeriana by celullase enzyme as the feed ingredient of gourami fish. This study used a completely randomized design which contained three steps, whereas each step contained four treatments and four replications. The first step performed by evaluating the Indigofera leaf meal (ILM) added with cellulase enzyme of 0 g/kg (control), 0.4 g/kg, 0.8 g/kg, and 1.2 g/kg. The second step was the digestibility test of ILM on gourami seeds. The third step was feed evaluation added with ILM as much as 0% (control), 15%, 30%, and 45% against the growth performance on gourami seeds. The gourami seeds used in the second and third steps with a weight of 13.65 ± 0.39 g/seed and 5.95 ± 0.15 g/seed, respectively. The addition of 0.8 g/kg and 1.2 g/kg cellulase enzyme could significantly decrease the crude fiber of ILM with 43.33%, besides having the best value of total, ingredient, protein, lipid, and energy digestibility. Dietary supplementation of organic selenium to improve growth performance and protein utilization in African catfish fed with different protein level diets 不同蛋白质水平饲料中添加有机硒对非洲鲶鱼生长性能和蛋白质利用的影响

This study aimed to evaluate the effect of organic selenium supplementation on diet with different protein levels on the growth performance and protein utilization of African catfish juvenile. A randomized 2×3 factorial design with two dietary protein levels (27% and 32%) and three dietary selenium (Se) supplementation levels (0 mg/kg, 3 mg/kg, and 6 mg/kg diet) in triplicates were applied in the study. African catfish juvenile with an initial average body weight and body length of 27.00 ± 0.14 g and 15.0 ± 0.5 cm, respectively, was reared in 18 units of aquarium (141 L) at a density of 142 fish/m3 for a rearing period of 40 days. Increasing organic Se supplementation level up to 6 mg/kg at high protein feed resulted in higher fish growth and final biomass, lower FCR, and higher protein utilization efficiency than those of other treatments.  Furthermore, supplementation of organic Se also resulted in lower lipid and higher Se concentrations in the fish body as well as higher blood protein level compared to those of the control. Ikan lele yang digunakan memiliki bobot awal rata-rata dan panjang tubuh 27 ± 0.14 g dan 15.0 ± 0.5 cm, dipelihara dalam 18 unit akuarium (141 L) dengan kepadatan 142 ekor/m3 selama 40 hari pemeliharaan. Peningkatan suplementasi Se organik hingga 6 mg/kg pada ikan yang diberi pakan protein tinggi menghasilkan kinerja pertumbuhan ikan dan biomassa akhir yang lebih tinggi, FCR yang lebih rendah, dan efisiensi pemanfaatan protein pakan yang lebih tinggi daripada perlakuan lain. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of filters on the growth performances of catfish fry (Clarias gariepinus) in the aquaponic system. The study was conducted in the Ciparanje Green House, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Universitas Padjadjaran, Jatinangor. A completely randomized design with four treatments and three replications was applied, namely treatment A: Water circulation using bioball filter medium, B: Water circulation using water spinach filter medium, C: Water circulation using bioball and water spinach filter media, and D: Water circulation using sponge filter medium (control). The container used for the maintenance was a fiber tank at 70 cm × 70 cm × 70 cm size filled with 257 L water and a stocking density of 15 fish/fiber. The parameters observed were survival rate, growth, feed conversion, and water quality. The results showed that the use of biological filter using water spinach produced the best growth performance of catfish. The best survival rate was also obtained by using water spinach filter (100%) with the absolute growth of 98.32 ± 15.6 g. Evaluation of corn steep powder as a protein source for feed of Nile tilapia Oreochromis niloticus 玉米浆粉作为尼罗罗非鱼饲料蛋白质源的评价

This study was aimed to evaluate the use of corn steep powder (CSP) as a plant protein source in Oreochromis niloticus diet. A commercial feed with 28% protein content and 368 kcal/g energy was used as reference diet, while the test feed consisting of various CSP content, namely 0%, 10%, 20%, and 30% and feed containing soybean meal (SBM) at the level of 20% and 30%. Tilapia were used in the trial with the initial body weight of 6.44 ± 0.29 g, and reared for thirty days in the aquarium at the density of fifteen and fed 3 times daily at a satiation level. All diets were supplied by 0.5% of Cr2O3 as an indicator for digestibility measurement. This study applied the completely randomized design experimental method containing six diet treatments and four replications. The result showed that CSP contains 40.27% protein, 26.10% lactic acid, and minerals. CSP is low in crude fiber and anti-nutritional factors. This study results that increasing the level of CSP significantly decreased feed acidity (P <0.05) compared to the control. The addition of CSP 20% increased feed digestibility including protein, lipid, energy, and dry matter digestibility. CSP 20% treatment increased final body weight, specific growth rate and reduced feed conversion ratio significantly (P<0.05) compare to other treatments. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain rancangan acak lengkap dengan enam perlakuan dan empat ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa CSP mengandung protein sebesar 40,27%, asam laktat 26,10%, beberapa mineral dan indeks asam amino esensial 0,90. CSP juga rendah serat kasar dan zat antinutrisi. Peningkatan dosis CSP menurunkan pH pakan secara signifikan (P<0.05) dibandingkan dengan kontrol. Production Performance and Nitrogen and Phosphorus Mass Balance in Biofloc-based African Catfish Intensive Culture at Different Densities 不同密度下基于生物絮团的非洲鲶鱼集约养殖生产性能及氮磷质量平衡

This study aimed to evaluate the production performance and nitrogen and phosphorus mass balance of biofloc-based intensive African catfish Clarias gariepinus culture at different densities. African catfish with an average body weight of 2.64 ± 0.06 g was randomly distributed into 12 units of round tank with a working volume of 2 m3 of water and maintained for 8 weeks. A completely randomized experimental design with four treatments (in triplicates), i.e. a control treatment at a fish density of 500 fish m-3 with regular water exchange and without organic carbon source addition, and biofloc treatments (BFT) at three different densities, i.e. 500 fish m-3 (BFT500), 750 fish m-3 (BFT750), and 1000 fish m-3 (BFT1000). Biofloc systems were performed with a regular addition of tapioca flour (40% C). The production performance between biofloc system and the control was not significantly different, however water and nitrogen utilizations were significantly more efficient in biofloc system than those of the control. The highest fish specific growth rate was observed in BFT1000 and BFT500 (6.01% day-1 and 5.96% day-1, respectively) (P<0.05). Fish density significantly affected the fish growth performance and productivity in biofloc systems, but not nitrogen and phosphorus utilizations. In conclusion, higher fish density significantly increased the production and water utilization efficiency in biofloc systems, but has no effect on nitrogen and phosphorus utilization efficiency. Furthermore, increasing the fish density could significantly reduce the fish survival and require more efforts to control biofloc biomass in the culture system.

A completely randomized experimental design with four treatments (in triplicates), i.e. a control treatment at a fish density of 500 fish m-3 with regular water exchange and without organic carbon source addition, and biofloc treatments (BFT) at three different densities, i.e. 500 fish m-3 (BFT500), 750 fish m-3 (BFT750), and 1000 fish m-3 (BFT1000). Biofloc systems were performed with a regular addition of tapioca flour (40% C). The production performance between biofloc system and the control was not significantly different, however water and nitrogen utilizations were significantly more efficient in biofloc system than those of the control. The highest fish specific growth rate was observed in BFT1000 and BFT500 (6.01% day-1 and 5.96% day-1, respectively) (P<0.05). Fish density significantly affected the fish growth performance and productivity in biofloc systems, but not nitrogen and phosphorus utilizations. In conclusion, higher fish density significantly increased the production and water utilization efficiency in biofloc systems, but has no effect on nitrogen and phosphorus utilization efficiency. ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to evaluate the use of unique mixture of nano-nutrient to extent the growth of diatom Thalassiosira sp. and the effect to the water quality, growth performance, and protein composition on the whole body of the Pacific white shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei. There are four treatments with four replicates per treatment with the use of commercial nano-nutrients (Aquaritin Aquaculture or AA) namely: (1) 0.70 mg/L; (2) 0.525 mg/L, (3) 0.35 mg/L, and (4) without any AA application, but included standard application of using urea and NPK fertilizers to enhance the growth of diatom. The use of AA was successful to trigger the growth of Thalassiosira sp. Group of shrimp treated with 0.70 mg/L had better growth rate. Results of feeding trial indicated that adding AA could also improve the biomass, final mean weight, survival, percentage weight gain, and better feed utilization in terms of FCR. The addition of AA to enhance the growth of Thalassiosira sp. also provides a beneficial impact to the protein composition in whole body of shrimp. Biologically, the protein composition in the whole body of shrimp treated with 0.7 mg/L was higher. ABSTRACT   This study was aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of Bacillus sp. NP5 paraprobiotic administration through commercial feed on growth performance, immune response, and resistance of Nile tilapia against Streptococcus agalactiae infection. Bacillus sp. NP5 paraprobiotic was produced through heat-inactivation at 95°C for 1 h, then performed a viability test on tryptic soy agar (TSA) media and incubated for 24 hours. Paraprobiotics could be used whether the bacteria did not grow on the TSA media. This study used a completely randomized design, containing three treatments with five replications, i.e. 1% (v/w) probiotic addition, 1% (v/w) paraprobiotic addition, and no addition of probiotic or paraprobiotic (control). The experimental fish were reared for 30 days. On day 31 of rearing, fish were challenged with S. agalactiae (107 CFU/mL) through intraperitoneal injection route, while the negative control was injected with PBS. This study results significantly improved growth performances and immune responses (P<0.05), compared to control after 30 days of probiotic and paraprobiotic Bacillus sp. NP5 administration. After challenge test, increased immune responses in probiotic and paraprobiotic of Bacillus sp. NP5 treatment had higher survival rates (P<0.05) than positive control. The administration of Bacillus sp. NP5 probiotic and paraprobiotic through commercial feed were effective in increasing growth performance, immune response, and resistance of Nile tilapia against S. agalactiae infection. 摘要本研究旨在评价商业饲料中添加芽孢杆菌NP5副益生菌对尼罗罗非鱼生长性能、免疫反应和对无乳链球菌感染的抗性的影响。在95℃下热灭活1 h,制得芽孢杆菌NP5副益生菌,在胰蛋白酶琼脂(TSA)培养基上进行活力测定,培养24小时。如果细菌不能在TSA培养基上生长,则可以使用副益生菌。本研究采用完全随机设计,共3个处理,5个重复,即添加1% (v/w)益生菌、添加1% (v/w)副益生菌、不添加益生菌或副益生菌(对照)。试验鱼饲养30 d。饲养第31天,通过腹腔注射方式攻毒无乳链球菌(107 CFU/mL),阴性对照注射PBS。试验结果表明,与对照组相比,益生菌和副益生菌芽孢杆菌NP5在饲喂30 d后显著提高了仔猪的生长性能和免疫应答(P<0.05)。攻毒试验后,芽孢杆菌NP5处理的益生菌和副益生菌免疫应答增加,存活率高于阳性对照组(P<0.05)。在商品饲料中添加芽孢杆菌NP5益生菌和副益生菌可有效提高尼罗罗非鱼的生长性能、免疫应答和对无乳链球菌感染的抵抗力。关键词:NP5芽孢杆菌,尼罗罗非鱼,副益生菌,无乳链球菌。芽孢杆菌sp.
