This research aims to examine Sundanese students' proficiency and errors in performing final consonant clusters in English. The research used a qualitative approach. The participants in this research were 40 college students. Their mother tongue was Sundanese. The data were recordings, which were collected through a pronunciation test of the target clusters in a provided word list. A perceptual approach was applied to analyze the data recordings. The results of this research found that the Sundanese students were not satisfactory when performing consonant clusters in English. They were only at intermediate levels. Omissions were major errors made by the students. The Sundanese students typically omitted the last consonant for -CC and the middle consonant for -CCC and -CCCC. In addition, the Sundanese students' semester and their English grades affected the Sundanese students' proficiency. It seemed that the differences in clusters' phonological structure between English and Sundanese and unfamiliar sounds contributed to the errors. This research suggests that teachers perform explicit instruction to improve students' cluster proficiency and enhance students' phonetic knowledge of English clusters. Accurate pronunciation is an important factor affecting communication intelligibility.

This study aims to analyze the scientific approach and method of learning and show the results in genre-based Indonesian language learning. This study used a qualitative approach. The data were collected from three sources: literature review, student learning outcomes, and questionnaire results. Data on students’ learning outcomes and views were explicitly taken from two groups. The first group consisted of 113 respondents who were asked to construct literary texts. The second group consisted of 105 respondents who were asked to construct exposition texts. The library research data was analyzed using theoretical and conceptual analysis, while the students’ learning outcome data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The data from the questionnaire were analyzed by quantitative analysis. Based on the analysis of the three forms of data, it was discovered that; (a) the terms scientific approach and method were relevant to genre-based (Indonesian) language learning, (b) scientific as a learning method (scientific method) could be used by teachers as a method in delivering learning material as well as by students to construct texts as a form of learning outcomes, (c) scientific method guides students to construct text systematically, in controlled, empirically, and analytically through scientific stages, and (d) there was a gap between the views of the students who think that the scientific method could guide students in constructing text and enhancing the quality of text production. With a score of 41.43, 91.15% of the students in the first group believed that the scientific approach might help students produce texts with high-quality output outcomes. 90% of the 105 respondents in the second group said that the scientific approach might help students create explanation texts even though the degree of text creation quality is low (score: 49.5). The students’ less expressive language use was to blame for this.

This study aims to analyze the collaboration between teachers and Artificial Intelligence that can meet the needs and goals of better education. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a literature review research design by collecting information from reputable international journal articles indexed in Scopus over the last five years (2018-2023) using the Publish or Perish search tool. The process of meta-analysis in this research begins with formulating the research question, andthen collecting relevant literature data that aligns with the research question. Next, the data is prepared by evaluating the literature's relevance to the research topic. Afterwards, the data from the selected literature is analyzed and synthesized. The results show that collaboration between teachers and Artificial Intelligence can be a good solution to improve learning effectiveness and help students learn in a personalized way. Although Artificial Intelligence technology can assist teachers in the learning process, teachers still play an important role in guiding and inspiring students. Therefore, collaboration between teachers and Artificial Intelligence technology should also be done carefully and directed towards improving a better and more meaningful learning experience for students.
