This study aims to determine the origins of Urdo-urdo chants, to know the study of Urdo-urdo chants, to find out the forms of Urdo-urdo chants, to find out the meaning contained in Urdo-urdo chants, and to find out the characteristics of Urdo-urdo chants in Bahapal Raya Village, Pematang Raya District, Simalungun Regency. The theoretical basis used in this study is the theory of study which explains the meaning of study, namely or describes a detailed matter so that it conducts a study; music theory, namely music is a cultural activity that is very familiar with human life, form theory, namely form is a scheme or arrangement that intact from several phrases, the theory of meaning that uses semiotic theory and semantic theory, the theory of Urdo-urdo songs, namely those that function as lullabies and songs to calm crying children. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be seen that the origin of Urdo-urdo singing is an ethnic song passed down from the ancestors of the Simalungun people to their generation orally. The hallmark of Urdo-urdo singing is using Iggou Simalungun. The Urdo-urdo singing form consists of four forms: A, B, C, and D. The meaning contained in the Urdo-urdo singing presented by the resource person is a lullaby for children, which contains advice..

Penelitian ini berkenaan dengan Eksistensi Tradisi Manuping di Basirih, Banjarmasin. Tradisi Manuping adalah tradisi yang berlangsung secara turun temurun, topeng perwujudan atau karakter dari tiruan wajah manusia. tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) Mendeskripsikan sejarah upacara Manuping di Basirih; (2) Mendeskripsikan fungsi dari upacara Manuping di Basirih; (3) Mendeskripsikan tradisi Manuping pada saat ini; dan Mendeskripsikan pola pewarisan dari tradisi Manuping Basirih. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuaitatif dan didukung dengan menggunakan cara triangulasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang sifatnya menggabungkan berbagai data dan sumber yan telah ada, dari berbagai sumber dengan berbagai cara dan waktu, metode, teori, sumber data, dan antar peneliti. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh simpulan yaitu tradisi Manuping di Basirih, Banjarmasin termasuk jenis ritual upacara yang masih bersifat sakral dan memiliki nilai-nilai yang terkandung didalamnya, diantaranya nilai spiritual, nilai edukasi, nilai sosial, dan nilai moral. Lalu memiliki nilai korelasi seperti hubungan yang kuat antar keluarga, maupun keluarga dengan leluhur, nilai spiritual seperti kepercayaan yang ditanamkan sejak dini secara turun temurun, dan nilai edukasi yang berarti pengetahuan tentang tradisi keluarga yang harus dijaga.

Abstract Learning motivation is an important aspect in improving student achievement. In this case, as a teacher has a major important role in fostering this motivation, one of which is through learning evaluation. The aim is to find out that the evaluation is able to significantly influence the motivation of students at MIS Hidayatul Muhajirin Palangka Raya. This study used a qualitative method based on interview results and supported by secondary data or from books and journals. The results of the research show that evaluation is able to have a significant influence because students inevitably have to learn to achieve the assessment that is planned and in accordance with what has been determined. This madrasah is facilitated by the head of the madrasah facility in the form of an LCD in class so that in learning that requires media it can be displayed directly in class so that it will affect students' learning motivation. The assessment was carried out regarding the cognitive aspects of C1-C4. In channeling student talents are also facilitated through extracurricular activities. Assisted by extracurricular coordinators equipped with audiovisual media according to needs. Each student activity related to the teaching and learning process includes the assessment of written tests or knowledge tests (cognitive) only at the end of dance learning, because there is no practice. Evaluation is carried out by adjusting the established process both from the principles and designs that have been determined. So it can be concluded that learning evaluation is a very important component in an educational institution, because it can affect students' learning motivation in learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk penyajian pada tari Pat Kupati di Sanggar Seni Nuansa Banjarmasin. Dan untuk mendeskripsikan Struktur Gerak Tari Pat Kupati. Manfaat penelitian ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat baik secara teoritis maupun praktis, manfaat teoritis bagi mahasiswa(i) program studi pendidikan seni tari STKIP PGRI Banjarmasin melalui penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan media publikasi dan informasi untuk bahan referensi apabila ada yang ingin meneruskan penelitian yang berkaitan tentang tarian ini. Sedangkan manfaat praktis bisa menambah wawasan sumber belajar dan apresiasi seni tari khususnya untuk mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Seni Tari STKIP PGRI Banjarmasin. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) tari pat kupati merupakan salah satu tari kreasi pedalaman yang pertama kali diciptakan Sanggar Seni Nuansa Banjarmasin dan mendapatkan predikat II pada acara Festival karya tari daerah tahun 2021, (2) bentuk penyajian tari Pat Kupati memiliki 11 aspek meliputi, judul, sinopsis, gerak, penari, pola lantai, tata busana, tata rias, iringan tari, tata cahaya, tempat pertunjukan, dan properti. (3) struktur gerak tari pat kupati terbagi menjadi 3 yaitu gugus gerak (pembuka,isi,dan penutup), 21 kalimat gerak, 20 frase gerak, dan 63 motif gerak untuk penari perempuan sedangkan penari Laki-laki 3 gugus gerak, 15 kalimat gerak, 15 frase gerak, dan 45 motif gerak.

Sanggar Permata Ije Jela located in Barito Kuala Regency, has a creative dance that is set in the culture of the Bakumpai Dayak community, namely the Mahelat Lebo dance. The presence of this tariff provides various positive impacts. This study aims to 1) Knowing the background of the creator of the Mahelat Lebo Dance 2) Knowing the form of presentation of the Mahelat Lebo Dance. 3) Knowing the existence of Mahelat Lebo Dance and the factors that influence it. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques by means of interviews, observation, documentation, and literature study. The result of the research is that the Mahelat Lebo Dance is a dance creation based on the local culture and traditions of the Bakumpai Dayak, to take part in the 2010 Regional Dance Works Festival (FKTD). The existence of the Mahelat Lebo dance can be seen from the form of presentation that emphasizes the Bakumpai people, the frequency of this dance performance is quite within the reach of national and international scales from 2015 to 2021. So there is no doubt about the achievements he has achieved. Internal supporting factors such as creativity and supporting factors are support from the government, external inhibiting factors including techniques and external inhibiting factors are the covid-19 outbreak.

This study aimed to develop teaching materials for literary texts based on local wisdom culture of North Sumatera at Grade VII semester 2 and the digitalization of the learning. The literary teaching materials developed were folk poetry, fable, and fictional texts. This study used the Research & Development method referring to the 4-D model developed by Thigaranjan et al. This model consists of four development steps such as define, design, develop, and the disseminate. The data in this study was analysed by using descriptive qualitative analysis. The validation on the teaching materials developed was carried out by 3 experts, namely material expert, language expert, and media experts. Furthermore, the teaching materials developed was tested on preliminary field and main field testing for Junior High Schools (SMP) relevant with the model of research method used. The study results showed that the teaching materials got excellent qualification in content validation (91.06%), excellent qualification in language validation (90%), excellent qualification on media expert validation (89.76%), excellent qualification on learning practitioner validation (95%), and excellent qualification on student response trials (88.98%). Thus, from the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the teaching material developed is "valid" which means that it is suitable to use as Indonesian literary texts teaching material based on local wisdom of North Sumatera at grade VII Semester 2.

Artists and creativity are inseparable. Artists in creativity have the challenge of transforming an abstract idea into a practical one in order to create a good creation. Fadjar Praptono, a musician from Banyumas, creates based on the Encouragment of responses to enviromental situatons by paying attention to the suitability contents of the song lyrics with the existing social, political and cultural situations. This research discusses Fadjar's creative process in creating tembang Banyumasan that have a distinctive Banyumas character. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method that aims to understand the object studied in more depth. This research uses a case study design, which is focuses on exploration of finite system. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and literacy studies. The interview was conducted directly with the main informant Fadjar 'Sopsan'. The study results prove that Fadjar went through several continuous stages in the creation of Banyumasan songs, including creative ideas, cultural knowledge, experience, work concepts, and creative act.

Broadly speaking, we can associate music with sound. The association received a "challenge" from John Cage, an American composer of the Avand-Garde era who in 1949 made the most famous work, namely 4'33' or can be called four thirty three, the purpose of this research/article is to discuss responses, responses, interpretation, and the percentage of student respondents to John Cage's unconventional music. The author uses a qualitative and quantitative mix-method research method in data collection and data analysis. Discussion and analysis of data using the theory of reception and interpretation. Various receptions/responses were presented by the students, some of whom responded "silence, murmuring, and wondering". The interpretation presented by the students is th at the answers given are subjective and not influenced by anyone. The quantitative data that the researcher has analyzed provides an overview of the percentage of students listening to John Cage 4'33' in the form of a percentage graph.

This art creation was born because of the author's anxiety about the lack of child-friendly nowadays games. Games on gadgets are mostly not very child-friendly and will have a negative impact on them, so there is a need for educational games such as traditional dhakon games. This creation aims to create a work of painting that comes from one of the hidden essences of dhakon games, which can hone the cognitive aspects of children. The painting art creation uses practice-based research method. The process of collecting data is obtained through observation, literature study, and interviews. The result of this creation is a two-dimensional painting that is representational, deformative, and has symbolic meaning with acrylic on canvas media combined with AR (augmented reality) technology trough trans-media approach. This painting has the title “Gemi, Setiti, Ngastiti, Ngati-ati”. This creation is useful as a medium of criticism and as a medium of education to the public about the essence of a game has a big role in the child's growth and development process, so parents must be selective in choosing children's games. In addition, this art creation is also an attempt to revitalize the dhakon game as a product of the past culture that is full of educational values but sadly has been abandoned by many people.

Topeng Banjet is one of the distinctive arts that is a heritage of art and culture that has traditionally existed and developed in Karawang Regency since the 1920s. The focus of the study is on Topeng Banjet Group Sinar Pusaka Karawang in Tempuran District and commonly known as Topeng Banjet Abah Pendul. The purpose of this study is to reveal the function of art and pedagogical values contained in the Topeng Banjet performance process. The performance is carried out through a process of stages namely; ngukus, songs and music, tap tilu dance, jokes and plays on an open field. The study is based on descriptive analytical qualitative data collected by observation, interview and documentation. This study includes pedagogical functions and values; education, educational content and educational tools. The purpose of education is required where every citizen or community is required to learn and practice mastery sourced from local cultural traditions. The Topeng Banjet performance originally functioned as a thanksgiving for the harvest. The Topeng Banjet Group Sinar Pusaka Warna has experienced several changes in leadership from the 1920s until now; as an educational tool, habits, recommendations, monitoring, taboos, and consequences are used in the implementation process at the beginning of the performance; ngukus or rituals at the beginning to ask the Almighty for all the blessings of the harvest and the smooth running of the show after praying the players sprinkle flower water on the musical instruments used and rub the smoke of burning incense all over the face and body of the players followed by musical entertainment, songs, dances, and dramas.
