Industrial experience with an array Josephson junction 具有阵列约瑟夫森结的工业经验

An Array Josephson Junctin (AJJ) has been in operation at Lockheed Missiles & Space Co. (LMSC) since September 1986. The AJJ was fabricated at the U.S. National Bureau of Standards (NBS) in Boulder, Co. It has been used on a routine basis for calibration of primary solid state reference standards near 1.0 volts since January 1987. Uncertainties at this voltage level are presently estimated at less than 0.3 ppm.

Analysis For Vacuo-Thermojunction Characteristics Using Microcomputer 真空热结特性的微机分析

Fourier analysis technique is adopted to evaluate the dc and ac component in a thermo-electromotive force (TEMF) from a vacuo-thermojunction(VTJ) at ultra-low frequency. In experiments, a digital wavememory(DM) and a microcomputer(MC) are used to minimize a noise by repeating the analysis and averaging each results. A number of repetition required to sufficiently suppress the influence of the noise is given.

The dispersive Fourier transform spectroscopy was used with the specimen at the center of a high intensity "Bitter" solenoid magnet to measure the real and imaginary parts of complex magnetic permeability and real and imaginary parts of the complex dielectric permittivity of cubic and hexagonal ferrite materials at millimeter wavelength region.

Calibrator For Alternating Voltage, Current And Power 交流电压,电流和功率校准器

A computer-controlled calibrator capable of delivering AC sinusoidal and distorted voltage, current and power, with an accuracy of several parts per milion, is described. A combination of feedback and error-feedforward control strategy, together with the current comparator technique for very accurate ratio measurements, is implemented. The ppm stability of the calibrator permits the use of a multiplexing program for monitoring of several instruments over a long period of time.

The experimental results on the effect of the geometry of mount on permittivity of dielectric materials are described.The condition, ka=0, make the field distribution in the mount uniform. In case of ka>0.5, the mount has not uniform field and the experimental results lead to noticeable error.
