To evaluate the agreement among determinations of the quantized Hall resistance, RH, in terms of national representations of the ohm, the BIPM organized and conducted an international comparison of one-ohm resistance standards among twelve laboratories. A relative uncertainty of about 2 x 10-8 is expected for some of the resistance comparisons. Resulting values of RH will be presented.

A solution for high accuracy electric power measurements for distorted input signals on industrial frequencies (50, 60 Hz) is presented. An improvement in the method of time-division technics is introduced and it refutes the oppinions that time-division technics is not convenient for wideband applications. The accuracy of the realised model is on the 100 ppm level for industrial frequency signals measurements with 100% harmonic distorsion up to 1 kHz.

The Global Positioning System will be used for differential positioning of low earth orbiting satellites with unprecedented accuracies. This in turn will lead to major improvements in ocean circulation information obtained from altimetric missions and in the geopotential model obtained from gravity missions.

In this paper, a new formula to calculate load reflection coefficient is derived using absolute power theory of six-port measurement system. The computer simulation and experiment all show that in the presence of noise this formula is more precise than the one we used generally.

In the present contribution we have shown the 1/f/sup 2/ noise in oscillators need not be neceesarily generated by environmental temperature fluctuations. As a consequence we investigate a possible theoretical evidence for the relationship between 1/f and l/f/sup 2/ noises.

The millimeter accuracy of the geodetic VLBI measurements was demonstrated in the experiments repeated 4 times on a 54-km baseline between a 5-m transportable antenna at Tsukuba and a 26-m antenna at Kashima. The error analysis shows that the thermal reeeiver noise is a main cause of the delay observation error and the atmospheric fluctuations mainly affect on the delay rate observations.
