Settlement on the banks of the river in the city of Banjarmasin, requires a comprehensive arrangement. The support of the residents of the Kelayan riverbank is an absolute must. The Banjarmasin city government itself plays a role in implementing the environmental management of the Kelayan riverbank through two policies. Namely, arranging structurally and fostering culturally. It is hoped that these two mechanisms, apart from synergizing, also get maximum results in managing rivers in the city of Banjarmasin. For this reason, it is essential to see how residents perceive their settlements and the policies taken by the city government in managing them. This phenomenological research through FDG interviews showed that residents support every government effort and realize that their residential environmental problems need to be addressed through a structural and cultural approach.

This article aims to find out the interest of women's terrorism in the ISIS movement. This research is explanatory research with data collection through library research or literature study through Google Scholar, Harzing's Publish or Perish, and other journals to publish data from 2012 to August 2021. There are several reasons for female terrorism's involvement in the ISIS political movement in Indonesia, which include family reasons, efforts to create equal rights for men and women, the existence of narcissistic personality forms, psychopathology, and religious fanatics. Even in the interests of the movement, women's terrorism is an easy target in acts of terrorism. It can be seen from how women are difficult to suspect in terrorist acts, thus making the officers and the public careless in monitoring. Sometimes they even involve their children in tricking the security forces. In this article, the authors used a feminist approach to understand the interests of women in the ISIS political movement in Indonesia.

The direct presidential election policy was implemented in Indonesia for the first time in 2004 as a result of the third amendment to the constitution in 2001, and it continued in the next presidential elections. This kind of election has replaced the old representative presidential election policy. However, since the implementation in 2004, there have been many criticisms from several parties. These parties consider this to have negative impacts, such as black campaigns, hoaxes, hate speeches, and social gaps in society. Therefore, they propose to return the mechanism to the old policy. This article aims to analyze and compare the two presidential election policies and strive for an optimal presidential election policy to improve the quality of democracy in Indonesia. To present the results, we have reviewed secondary data mainly from the literature (journal, book, and act) and conducted in-depth interviews with scholars in the field. The main finding is that the direct presidential election policy is proven to improve the quality of democracy by fulfilling the three main aspects of the Indonesia Democracy Index (IDI). Nevertheless, to make it better, some improvements are needed as follows: reforming political parties, implementing the convention system, removing the presidential threshold, providing an independent channel to become a candidate, strengthening the responsibility and integrity of state officials in law enforcement, and regulating all negative impacts in binding regulations

Using a campus community-based participation approach makes local choices more revealing and we use this approach to create a reflection on local views relatively but recorded on a field record. The results showed that the affordable aspect of waste removal practices is considered more effective than centralized management and rigid waste sorting. This study focuses on community-based waste management practices based on academic community relations as campus-community at Campus Tiga Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) Tlogomas Malang Regency, East Java, Indonesia. In the community-development analysis Ife and Tesoriero (2006) which began from the integrity phase of the process that removing waste in its place is still the responsibility of individuals and a culture of shame among peer-group colleagues. Then in increasing awareness it takes knowledge that removing waste needs to be based on the category of waste, it is useful for the processing of waste that is the same character of the material so that the waste processing process has the right output and conducive to environmental conditions. The phase of the cooperation model is still based on providing wages to the team or waste processing personnel with Integrated Landfill (TPS) Mulyoagung, Dau, Kabupaten Malang. Then the development step is the processing of organic waste or called "sampah dapur" which still requires a waste treatment plant strategy, waste processing machine tools and the role of human resources as community actors.

The high increase in Covid-19 in Indonesia is a concern for many parties. Thus, the policy taken by the government is the Imposition of Emergency Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM). The policy reaped the pros and cons in the community. This study aims to analyze the community's perspective (netizens) expressed through social media in assessing the implementation of emergency PPKM. This study utilizes qualitative descriptive methods and uses secondary data through social media in the form of Twitter and is analyzed using a content analysis approach. This study focuses on analyzing the trend of public perception (citizens) regarding the topic of conversation about rejection and demonstration (Tolak & Demo) of PPKM through the results of Social Network Analysis (SNA) obtained through Drone Emprit. The results show that most PPKM policies get widespread rejection in the community because the impacts are mostly negative, such as getting poorer people because of limited access to work. The domination of the denial was driven by pro-opposition accounts that campaigned against PPKM in the form of demonstrations. The contribution of this research shows that Twitter can be a space for public participation in responding to government policies (democracy). This research has limitations because it only focuses on Twitter, so further studies need to look at the use of other social media such as Instagram and YouTube.

Social media is a very vulnerable medium for the spread of hoax information. Based on various research survey references, social media currently remains the main source of circulating hoaxes. Ironically, many hoax information that is spread can cause unrest, conflict, slander, overthrow each other, and excessive fear. On the other hand, the characteristics of social media make it easier for users to share information on their social networks. With a description of the problem conditions regarding the spread of hoax information that is very complex, it is necessary to increase social media users' awareness and information literacy. However, the strategy to increase the awareness of social media users is not easy to formulate. In advance, it is necessary to know the biggest motives of social media users in receiving and redistributing hoax information. Based on research using a quantitative approach through a cross-sectional survey strategy, it has been found that the motives that most often underlie social media users in receiving hoax information are dominated by the information exposure process motive and the viral information motive. In addition, someone's motive for sharing hoax information is the motive for low information literacy and cultural motives for sharing information.

This study aims to describe CSV based on community empowerment, especially in the millennial generation. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques used interviews. Interviews were conducted with two key informants, namely Sahlan Junaedy (FFPM staff) and Pariatmoko (MPDD staff) Data processing uses triangulation to obtain valid and credible information. The results showed that Nestle's CSV in community empowerment programs, young people or millennials were quite involved. Among other things, clean water supply programs and nutrition programs such as: young people are involved in the provision of clean water including managing HIPPAM, school children in nutrition programs, and others. The recommendation in this study is that the presence of CSV from Nestle has an influence on the millennial generation, especially in the sustainability of smallholder farms, especially for young breeders.

This study aims to explore the community's view of the phenomenon of Sandwich Generation in the dimension of modernity. The increasing number of population in Indonesia also gives rise to a new phenomenon, namely the Sandwich Generation. The Sandwich Generation phenomenon has been introduced since the 90s, especially among women who work to maintain two generations simultaneously. Responding to this ongoing phenomenon by finding out how the public responds to sandwich generation by distributing questionnaires in the form of Google Forms to various groups of people to analyze the results of the community's responses to the current phenomenon. The results of the analysis show that there are still many misconceptions regarding this phenomenon, which is considered one of the forms of child exploitation. This happens because of a lack of knowledge about how a child is obliged to his parents, being the sandwich generation is not a disgrace but a good opportunity to be devoted to both parents and must live it sincerely so that what is obtained can be a blessing.
