The paper explores students' perceptions of the new learning model imposed on them from March to September 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to map students' cognitive attitudes towards emergency remote teaching (ERT) in order to draw relevant conclusions about whether this practice has been successful in overcoming objective obstacles. Namely, the authors are tasked with exploring the student perspective of a new academic reality and with recording how and how well the students have adapted to ERT. For the purposes of the cross-sectional study, the authors selected three faculties of the University of Priština in Kosovska Mitrovica: the Faculty of Philosophy, the Faculty of Arts, and the Faculty of Medicine. Data are collected by means of a survey, while the respondents are selected by the method of convenient sampling. The results of the study are used to improve teaching practice as well as to assess the readiness of the higher education institution to respond to emergencies in order to maintain the integrity and continuity of the teaching process.

The paper explores the importance of local culture in advertising in Southeast Europe, in particular in Serbia. The aim of the research was to examine whether there is any difference in perception among people in Serbia toward brands using local advertising campaign and brands using global advertising campaigns. The research included 520 respondents and the analysis included different statistical methods. The study examined the extent to which the influence of culture on the communication strategy is felt, and whether this impact is the same for all target audiences and for all product categories. The research reveals whether customers from Serbia prefer local or global campaigns, and whether the choice of the local versus the global has a more positive impact on brand perception. The findings showed some interesting and contradictory results: consumers prefer local advertisements rather than global campaign, though other finding indicate strong influence of globalization Serbia as represent of Southeast Europe countries.

The purpose of this pilot study is to determine the nature, management and quality of experimental forms of online teaching based on the teachers' three-month teaching experience gained in the academic year 2019/20, and to identify the major social, economic and psychological factors that might be related to the way the online teaching as alternate modality was realized in all educational levels in Serbia and the Republic of Srpska at the COVID-19 outbreak. The conducted research involving 283 language and literature teachers was done by using the quantitative and qualitative method, and the survey questionnaire consisting of one open-ended and ten closed-ended questions was the measuring instrument. The responses are analyzed and classified into several categories according to their common denominator. The results highlighted the main challenges the teachers faced while teaching online, pointed to the key limitations of relying on face-to-face teaching as the only accessible delivery mode and provided the relevant insights regarding the directions for further investigations in online teaching in the field of humanities.

The reason for writing this paper is the (non) application of the Agreement on Succession Issues, especially its Annex G, which refers to private property and acquired rights. The authors analyzed the legal norms from a theoretical point of view, and then, by researching case law and analyzing the decisions made, they pointed out the (non) application of the ratified Agreement on Succession Issues. Respecting the assumed international obligations, valid international law, legality and justice, as well as the credibility of the European Union, it is necessary in practice to ensure more efficient and direct application of Annex "G" of the Agreement on Succession Issues which stipulates that SFRY successor states will protect private property. and acquired rights of citizens and other legal entities. Tourism is very important for the development of the country. In order to develop, every country must invest in tourism and use its resources to attract tourists. This research took into account how natural and cultural resources influence the improvement of tourism performance. On that occasion, it was observed what influence the rate of economic growth has on the relationship between natural and cultural resources and the performance of tourism. Therefore, regression analysis was used with the mediator gross social product, which represents economic growth. The results showed that three out of four tourism performances are influenced by natural and cultural resources when changing the rate of economic growth. In this way, it has been proven that natural and cultural resources influence the performance of tourism. That is why tourism must be based on the natural and cultural resources available to the country. It is necessary to invest in infrastructure, especially in road infrastructure, in order to make these resources more accessible to tourists.

The paper presents the results of research conducted on the population of refugees and internally displaced persons in Kosovo and Metohija, stationed in four collective centers of the second northernmost municipality of Zubin Potok (Gazivode, Velji Breg, Jagnjenica and Donje Varage). The survey was conducted using a questionnaire method with a survey technique using the SILC survey (Income and Living Conditions Survey) on a representative sample. The goal was to collect data from a population that is mostly excluded from social surveys and census surveys, bearing in mind the fact that the aforementioned collective centers are located in Kosovo and Metohija, where official republican surveys of marginal groups have not been conducted for more than two decades. In accordance with the scope of work, the text shows only some indicators that showed the deprivation of the population of refugees and internally displaced persons.

In all sciences, there is a general agreement that hypotheses can be defined under the rules of scientific defining. Consequently, with most authors in different sciences and scientific disciplines, it is indisputable that there is a general agreement of different theoretical and methodological directions that hypotheses are based on assumptions about the phenomenon, problem, and subject of research, which are expressed in the form of attitudes and judgments and have some cognitive value, in all sciences as well as in historical research. Hypotheses are determined by the definition of the problem, the subject of the research, and the goals of the research, primarily scientific ones. Hypotheses in all sciences, even historical ones, consist of variables and attitudes of a hypothesis that expresses the relations between variables. It is necessary to distinguish hypotheses in the process of acquiring scientific knowledge and in scientific research projects.

In modern tourism development, destinations are treated as tourism products that successfully compete in the market thanks to their attractive and highly competitive elements. The destination brand demonstrates the location, attractions and activities within the borders. Creating a brand is a long process, and an established brand is kept in the minds of consumers for a very long time. Therefore, it is necessary to have a long-term vision of the destination brand based on the knowledge and cooperation of all those involved in creating a tourism product. The created destination brand that is successfully represented by the relevant market segments through communication channels becomes a powerful tool in gaining and attracting market demand. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to analyze Vojvodina as a multicultural tourist destination and point out how recognizable it is as such a brand in the tourism business. The main goal is to look at the situation and perspectives for placing products on the domestic, and especially on the international tourist market. The ultimate goal is to include experts from this field and the local population in the project of developing the brand of Vojvodina tourism, in order to revive abandoned rural places, preserve the villages and tradition.

This paper mostly discusses legal and some economic aspects of games of chance as an economic activity. In that context, the negative effects of gambling and betting activities are pointed out, especially on the development and spread of social deviations due to the uncontrolled consumption of games of chance. The paper aims to indicate in what way, and to what extent, the legislation in the Republic of Serbia regulates gambling and betting activities, i.e., what impact the legislation has exclusively on the financial and marketing business aspects of the three most represented organizers of games of chance in this area. The first part of the paper points to the numerous specifics characterizing gambling and betting activities, i.e. special legal regulations that regulate each business segment in this activity. The second part of the paper presents a financial overview of the performance indicators of the three most represented organizers of games of chance. The final part of the paper is dedicated to the legal possibilities and restrictions to advertising games of chance, or the efforts of all three organizers to boost the promotion of their business by taking on socially responsible activities, keeping it with such an approach within the legal framework.
