—Journey to the West , as a famous supernatural novel in ancient China, has created a series of popular characters, especially the image of the group in pilgrimage. But it is undeniable that in the process of pilgrimage, in the ups and downs of the novel plot, in portraying the characters, in this novel with male image as the main narrative carrier, a large number of female images spring onto the paper vividly, leaving a deep impression on the readers. Their appearance adds color to the narrative of the novel and is an indispensable part of the plot of the novel. In view of the secular female image in Journey to the West , the author mainly studies it from the following aspects. On the one hand, based on the text of the novel, the female images involved in the novel are explored and the characteristics of the female images are analyzed and studied; On the other hand, from the perspective of creation, the significance and means of portraying such images are interpreted and the deep connotation of female images is expounded, so as to have a more three-dimensional interpretation on female images in the work. In addition, from the perspective of the social significance of the novel, this paper discusses the social factors of the emergence of female images in the novel and the social reality it reflects.

The Economist, as a quite influential newspaper in the western society, began to set up China column in 2012 and has made quite a lot of reports concerning different aspects of China and therefore used many expressions with Chinese characteristics. This paper cited the editorials in the China column as the subjects, trying to analyze why and how the translation of lexical items with Chinese characteristics are rewritten in guidance of the three factors of Lefevere’s rewriting theory (ideology, poetics and patronage) and evaluate the rewritten translation to summarize some applicable suggestions to improve domestic translation in this field. This thesis finds that most translations of lexical items with Chinese characteristics in The Economist achieve semantic faithfulness but always carry derogatory hints due to discrepancy in ideology, from which Chinese translators may draw a lesson and avoid similar mistakes. Keywords—Translation; Rewriting Theory; Lexical Items with Chinese Characteristics; The Economist

The wave of merger has brought a dramatic change to the entire higher education sector that covers almost all levels of Chinese higher education institutions. Because the higher education in China plays a significant role in promoting the development of the domestic economy, the strategic measure of the large-scale merger will undoubtedly create a great influence on the entire society of China. Nevertheless, the researchers of China higher education have only paid little attention to this wave of the merger. Among the limited number of studies on the merger in the past, they mainly focused on the role that the government played in carrying out reforms at the level of laws and policies, while few focused on mergers at the level of institution, and this research aims at filling in the gap. This paper is for the purpose of discussing the achievements of the merger of China higher education and uncovering the key elements that restrict the progress and achievements of the merger activity. What is more important is that there is the necessity for us to make an analysis on the achievements that the merger activity has obtained from an objective perspective after it has experienced a development period of more than ten years. Improving the transformation rate of “Da Chuang” project results is the ultimate goal of this study, and it is also the most important task and development direction of “Da Chuang” project. Strengthening process-oriented management is one of the ways to improve the transformation of research results. This paper takes the university's “Da Chuang” project as the research platform, and carries out targeted selection, guidance and key cultivation. Through the docking with enterprises to achieve rapid transformation of results and benign operations, it also drives more students to work and serve the western region. This paper introduces the existing problems and their causes of English teaching in vocational colleges and universities, and creatively puts forward the idea of combining ETIC with traditional teaching to solve the problem of cultivating talents' English communication ability. Then, the paper discusses the inspiration of ETIC to English teaching and the principles of designing specific tasks in English teaching. Last it discusses how teachers should position their roles in this model. Keywords—ETIC; vocational colleges; English ability; talent training I. BACKGROUND OF VOCATIONAL EDUCATION The National Vocational Education Reform Implementation Plan, officially announced on February 13, 2019 points out that vocational education should be placed in a more prominent position in education reform, innovation and economic and social development. Vocational education should be diversified to serve the needs of China's economic development and cultivate high-quality vocational talents. At present, China's economic development is characterized by deepening supply-side structural reform, and China's economic growth will shift from demand-driven to supplydriven. The core of supply driven is the improvement of efficiency, which mainly relies on human capital rather than material capital [1]. During the Two Sessions on March 5, 2019, Premier Li Keqiang of the State Council pointed out in the government work report that higher vocational colleges will expand enrollment by 1 million, indicating that all walks of life in China's social development are in urgent need of high-quality vocational skilled personnel to push economic development to a new level. At the same time, China is implementing the strategy of "The Belt and Road" Policy. At this moment, President Xi Jinping is visiting Italy, and advancing the policy of "The Belt and Road" is one of the purposes of his visit. That is to say, after our economic development has entered the second stage of socialist market economy, scientific and technological innovation is the main driving force of economic development, so senior talents also naturally become the first element of market competition. After the Two Sessions, our country clearly proclaimed to deepen the Reform and Open Policy, which means that China's economic development will be more closely connected with the world, so the demand of talents is also diversified and internationalized. With their international communication ability, China's advanced ideas will be better accepted by the world in the field of science and technology, culture, politics, etc. II. THE RESEARCH SITUATION OF VOCATIONAL ENGLISH AT HOME AND ABROAD With the input of the subject "English in vocational schools" on CNKI, 1,133 papers were obtained. It was found that the research on English teaching in vocational colleges began in the late 1990s and showed a sharp rise at the beginning of 2000. With the strong support of the state, it will surely embrace a new research climax. Voca

Cultural identity experience involves a process of self-identification, which helps to strengthen cultural confidence. As the core area of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, Fujian Province represents an important starting point and birthplace of the ancient Maritime Silk Road, while numerous museums are the symbols of the culture in the region. At present, the tourism development of China's Marine Silk Museum faces five constraints: static display restricts comprehensive perception, emotional barriers restrict the empathy, one-way infusion restricts active thinking, interactive limitation restricts participation of tourists, and association offline restricts cultural self-confidence. To this end, sensory experience, emotional experience, thinking experience, action experience, and associated experience are integrated into the construction of the museum, hence promoting the tourism development of the Marine Silk Culture Museum. This paper analyzes the current situation of the physical training course in civil aviation air security protection major of civil aviation colleges, with the example of improving the performance of 3000 meters race, using literature data method, interview investigation method and logic analysis method. The results show that the use of a variety of teaching methods can effectively improve the teaching effectiveness and quality of the course. The analysis believes that the excellent examination results come from the combination of students' own efforts and scientific teaching methods. Therefore, it is recommended to use different training methods and means to effectively improve students' learning and training ability, allowing them to reserve sufficient physical power and acquire different skills for more competitiveness.
