Adding the education of ocean consciousness into the Thoughts and Morals Training and Law Basic course is the requirement of the new era where China is developing itself as a maritime power. In the teaching activities, it is necessary to cultivate students’ consciousnesses of maritime power, maritime territory and marine environment, the attitudes towards the ocean and deliver the marine law education, so as to stimulate their sense of historical mission, cultivate the marine ecological morality and the concept of the rule of law. It is expected that they can actively assume the responsibilities to safeguard our national sea power and realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. This paper adopts the theories with the practices to summarize the teaching experience based on the achieved research results and explore the way to raise college students’ ocean consciousness. In view of the shortcoming that the application of electromechanical students to understand the principles and practical problems of various artificial intelligence methods needs to be improved. This paper comprehensively expounds the teaching plan of artificial intelligence courses for the specific group of electromechanical engineering students from the perspectives of teaching goal formulation, teaching methods and assessment modes. One of the most effective ways to improve the competence of graduates in the conditions of scientific and technological progress and the transition to knowledge economy is the organization of research work of students. The article deals with topical issues of the organization of such work at a technical university, it identifies the main directions for the development of their creative and scientific activity, motivation and competence in the field of their future profession. The article defines factors that have great influence on the motivation of a student’s research work and its effectiveness not only in consolidating professional competencies, but also in obtaining managerial skills necessary for a modern specialist. The role of research work in shaping the qualities necessary for a modern leader of any level is noted: responsible citizenship and high intellectual culture. Examples of methods and means for formation of these important managerial qualities in the process of research work are given. The authors have classified the criteria for assessing the effectiveness of the research activities of students, analyzed the current requirements for high school teachers in organizing this work at a technical university. At the same time, researchers note the role of university management in providing this process with the necessary material and intellectual resources. On December the 7th of 2003, the government of Zimbabwe declared its formal withdrawal from the Commonwealth. This essay tries to analyze this political event from the point of political science, holding the view that Zimbabwe's democratic political system lacks necessary independence; there was potential conflict between the economic structure and the democratic system. On the other hand, Zimbabwe has grown strong feeling of nationalism through its long experience of colony and there also existed political and cultural differences between African countries and the developed countries in the Commonwealth. With the popularization of higher education, the development of university classification has been constructed as an almost inevitable trend and the construction of high-level application-oriented universities has become a common pursuit of many local universities in China. This study focused on the basic concepts, goals and key tasks of construction of high-level application-oriented universities, pointed out that overall planning, focusing on key factors, integration of production and education, mechanism innovation and choosing pilot universities are the basic concepts of construction of high-level applicationoriented universities. Based on a case study in Shanghai, this study found that “double-skilled” teaching staff should be improved, multi-level talent training system should be constructed and universities and enterprises should be integrated deeper. The paper is to solve "the problem of human survival and development" and realize human's free and all-round development with the concept of sharing. Capital is only a means to human survival and development. So govern capital and utilize capital. By investigating the current situation of ESP teachers' teaching skills in colleges and universities, this paper finds out the problems existing in the teaching skills of ESP teachers in colleges and universities, and analyses the factors affecting the development of ESP teachers' teaching skills in colleges and universities. The purpose is to explore and try to put forward ways to promote the development of ESP teachers' teaching skills in colleges and universities, to improve ESP teachers' teaching skills and the quality of college English teaching, and to promote teaching and students' English Learning. This paper takes 100 ESP teachers from 40 universities in Shandong Province as the research object, investigates and studies the present situation of ESP teachers' teaching skills, analyses and discusses the existing problems, and tries to put forward some pertinent and operable suggestions to improve ESP teachers' teaching skills.
