This research aims to determine the influence of GA3 and salicylic acid on the germination and growth of Kelinci variety peanuts under aluminum casting. This study was conducted in a 2x3 factorial experiment. Factor A is AL(OH)3 with two concentration levels: 0% b/v and 5% w/v. Factor B is a growing stimulant substance (ZPT) with three levels: GA3 (0.1 % w/v), salicylic acid (0.1% w/v), and GA3 + salicylic acid. The parameters in this study are 1) germinating power, 2) length of sprouts, 3) fresh weight of sprouts, 4) dry weight of sprouts and 5) relative moisture content. The Tukey test determines the main effect, and an F test determines the simple effect. From the research results, the researchers conclude that the mixture of GA3 solution and SA solution is more effective than a single solution of GA3 or SA in overcoming the aluminum's toxic effects on the germination and sprout growth of Kelinci variety peanut.

This study aims to isolate and determine the antagonistic activity of lime's endophytic mushrooms on Candida albicans. Antagonism tests were performed in vitro with dual culture methods. The study obtained 14 isolates that were successfully isolated from the stem, roots, leaves, and peels of lime fruit. A total of 8 isolates could inhibit Candida albicans through antibiosis mechanisms and healthy competition. The isolates with the highest inhibition percentage were KD2 and MA1 (42.85%).

This study aims to analyze students' environmental care character and the obstacles faced by the Adiwiyata school. This study employed the descriptive qualitative method with the case study approach. The researchers analyzed the students' environmental care character with the Adiwiyata program, specifically SMAN 1 Dukuntang. In the aspect of classroom hygiene management, the school was in the very good category. Next, in the environmental education management aspect, the school was also in the very good category. The school also foster students' creativity through the DLS program by creating environmentally friendly products with economic value. The obstacle faced by the Adiwiyata school in shaping the students' environmental care character was the need for free time for students to participate in environmental activities outside of school during the implementation of the SBL program.

This research aimed to investigate the influence of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model assisted by Zoom Cloud Meeting on learners' critical thinking skills. This research employed a quasi-experimental design. The population of the study was all tenth graders of MAN 2 Tulang Bawang Barat. The samples were class X MIA 2 as the experimental class and class X MIA 3 as the control class. Tests were utilized as the data collecting technique. The researchers performed the normality and homogeneity tests on the research data before performing the independent sample t-test as the hypothesis test. Based on the test results on the Pre-test and Post-test data, the N-gain values tested using the t-test obtained a significance value (2-tailed) of 0, 00. The Contextual Teaching and Learning model assisted by Zoom Cloud Meeting improved students' critical thinking skills. Based on the research, the Contextual Teaching and Learning assisted by Zoom Cloud Meeting could improve students' critical thinking skills.

This study aims to determine the influence of the Novick constructivism learning model on 1) critical thinking skills and motivation, 2) the extent of influence of the Novick constructivism model on the aspects of critical thinking skills, 3) the extent of influence of the Novick constructivism model on learning motivation, and 4) the effectiveness of the model on critical thinking skills. The method used was quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The population was the tenth-grade science students. The critical thinking skills were assessed using a cognitive test, and the motivation was assessed using questionnaires. The MANOVA analysis was used to determine the model's influence. The regression analysis was used to determine the extent of the model's influence. The N-gain was used to determine the model's effectiveness. The MANOVA analysis obtained a significant value of 0.02, which was lower than 0. 05. Thus, H0 was rejected. The regression analysis showed the values of critical thinking skills ranged from high to low. The values consisted of strategies and tactics (46.49%), advance clarification (14.02%), basic support (13.96%), elementary clarification (13.62), and inference (11.88%). The motivation aspects ranging from high to low: relevance (26.35%), attention (25.98%), confidence (25.40%), and satisfaction (22.25%). The N-Gain score obtained by the experimental class was 0.437 in the moderate category. Based on the results, it can be concluded that 1) there was an influence of Novick constructivism model on critical thinking skills and motivation on online learning, 2) there was an unequal influence of the model on critical thinking aspects, and 3 ) motivation aspects, and 4) Novick constructivism model was relatively effective to be used in online learning.

This study aimed to obtain amylase-producing potent bacteria from soil and test the amylase activity produced. Soil samples were taken from the Biological Education and Research Forest, Andalas University. The isolation was done by using the stratified dilution technique on agar media. The screening of amylase activity employed the qualitative and quantitative tests on agar starch. From 8 isolated amylolytic bacteria, there were three isolates with amylolytic potential. The results of characterization and identification based on Bergey's Manual of Determinative Bacteriology show that isolates A4, A1, and A6 belonged to the genus Bacillus, Corynebacterium, and Klebsiella. The bacteria obtained can then be produced and optimized for the needs of industrial enzymes.

Soursop leaf tea is a health drink that contains steroid compounds, terpenoids, flavonoids, kumari, tannins, and alkaloids. The flavonoids and tannins in soursop leaves act as antioxidants. Since it has an unpleasant aroma, cinnamon is added to add scent and flavor. This study aimed to determine the effect of cinnamon powder on the soursop leaf tea's antioxidant activity. This study employed the completely randomized design method (CRD) with two factors: the soursop leaves and cinnamon powder concentrations. This study consisted of four treatments, namely SP0 (100% soursop leaves), SP1 (90% soursop leaves and 10% cinnamon powder), SP2 (80% soursop leaves and 20% cinnamon powder), and SP3 (70% soursop leaves and 30% cinnamon powder) within three repetitions. The proximate test was focused on antioxidant activity analyzed by ANOVA at α = 5%. The organoleptic test covered the color, taste, aroma, and other overall preferences by qualitative descriptive tests. The results showed that the highest antioxidant (29.19%) could be found in the SP3 sample (70% soursop leaves and 30% cinnamon powder), while the preferred organoleptic test was the SP2 sample.

Oral communication skills and cognitive learning outcomes are indicators of learning achievement. This research aimed to analyze students' oral communication skills and cognitive learning outcomes through the implementation of practicum-based TSTS. This research employed the quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The samples were determined using the purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the practicum-based TSTS learning model contributed to students' oral communication skills with excellent categories. Teaching and learning activities using the practicum-based TSTS affected students' cognitive learning outcomes (Sig. 0.838 0.05). Thus, this research showed that the implementation of the practicum-based TSTS learning model on the Plantae topic can train students’ oral communication skills and affect their cognitive learning outcomes.
