Nowadays, in world of modern technologies and technology society, information can be the most valuable commodity on the market and so gathering it, buy or sell it becomes the most important part of doing business. Because of the prizing, the more sophisticated ways of gathering and processing of the information are still being developed, various kinds of more sophisticated and faster systems are being created and more complex technologies are being made, which clearly opens various paths for various criminal menaces. To be able to react appropriate and fast on this threads and protect valuable property of its own, to protect the data and be able to find an appropriate solution for protecting them and for preventing them from damage or any other misusing, man should be aware of the processes behind the whole cycle and be able to define the whole menace scope given to the general situation and scenario.

The creation of quality content for E-learning resources is a time-consuming task. To simplify the process of content creation for language learning and enable easy adaptability for different requirements and language levels we strive to add as much automation as possible. In order to still obtain high quality, we present in this paper our approaches to enrich E-learning-based English vocabulary tests, which support blended learning and improve direct user feedback. We integrate openly available language resources for selecting and appending usage example sentences for a given vocabulary corpus. Furthermore we discuss our results and suggest to acquire natural language processing (NLP) based techniques to improve the generation of language related contents in general and to overcome some of the weaknesses of our current solution.

In e-learning exist various tools for teaching which include functions for creating test and educational materials as well functions for presenting these material to students on-line. The aim is design and implement custom tool for e-learning based on existing solution and standards. The analysis of main representatives of e-learning systems such as Moodle and Adobe Captivate was used to improve custom solution and highlight important functions. The article describes how to deal with issue of creation and organization of course, as well as how to handle testing part of system. The main requirement is universality of tool which allows use this tool for various purposes and on various devices including computers, smartphones and tablets. Optimalization for mobile devices is described in final part of article.

Goal of the paper is to describe basic steps of continuous signal digitization. The article deals mainly with the process of sampling and linear scalar quantization. The issues of source code operation are described in brief. Measurement of sampling frequency that influences on input signal reconstruction is designed on the basis of digitization analysis. Sampling and quantization is accomplished using ATMega328P microprocessor. The contribution is the result of learning module designed and implementated for students at universities that focuses on processing electrical signals.

In this paper, we highlight the current status of the implementation of excursions in different subjects at secondary school. We analyse the constraints for their implementation and the possibilities of using virtual excursion in teaching. In one part, there is a brief proposal for the formal side of the creation of virtual excursions in teaching at grammar schools. We shall also list examples of authored environments and the virtual excursions created within them.

Students at study branch Geoinformatics use several software products for the creation and analyzing spatial data. Software products belong to the special information systems named Geographic Information System (GIS). The practical lectures take place in the computer laboratory. Courses are supported by e-learning portal based on open source learning platform Moodle. E-learning portal of Department of Geoinformatics supports both bachelor study “Geoinformatics and Geography” both master study “Geoinformatics”. Some lectures have been created for lecturing visual programming languages. Visual programming languages in GIS are aimed for the batch automatic data processing in GIS. Skills with visual programming languages are important for advanced users in GIS. Visual programming languages are more comprehensible than textual programming languages. Students in second and third year are ready to learn it. They are also familiar with e-learning courses and blended learning. The presented e-learning lectures for visual programming language confirm the usability of the platform Moodle. The described experiences with the visual language programming supported by e-learning portal are based on several years of lecturing at Palacký University in Olomouc in the Czech Republic.

In this paper, a multi-view e-learning system for supporting remote education is introduced. Since video is the most natural way to perceive information and of interaction between people, it also has inherent capabilities when using in education environment. The system, we propose, should encourage students more use the opportunities offered by remote learning to foster their training on the university. To enable multi-view video (MVV) streaming a system with three cameras is used. A central server is used to capture the partial streams and it also serves as the control unit to manage the whole system. The student will have the choice to decide which particular part of the captured scene he/she wants to watch. Another option will be a guided stream, where the streams are switched automatically, based on the area where the presentation is currently focused. We believe that this model might contribute to the educational process.

According to the ten years of eLearning system development at the University of Zilina in Slovakia, we reflect on the next upgrade of the system. Adaptive systems seem as the next innovation of the technological tools for the sake of education. Because of the complexity development, the systematic approach using of the system architectures is essential. The educational view, due to the top level development - business architecture of the domain should be done before a software architecture design. Business architecture of the educational domain is very difficult and time-consuming task. This task can be solved slowly and systematically. A small part of the business architecture we are carrying out in the two university projects.
