Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to determine the impact of management control systems such as self-control and organization’s norms on the sustainability of an organization with mediating role of corporate social responsibility (CSR) practices. The study focused on small and medium enterprises in the agricultural sector and how they can be sustainable by using these factors. Design/Methodology/Approach: This is a primary study based on quantitative data. The non-probability, convenience sampling is used. The research design includes hypotheses testing whether they are accepted or rejected. Data collection was done through closed-ended questionnaires with a Likert scale. The chosen sample size was 200 however, 184 questionnaires were received back after filling. Smart PLS was used for data analysis. Findings: Based on the analysis, all the hypotheses were accepted which show that there is indeed an impact of management control systems and organizations norms on an organization’s sustainability and CSR practices play the role of mediator. Implications/Originality/Value: Originality this study is testing the mediating effect of CSR practices on control systems, organizations norms and sustainability of the firm in the agricultural sector of Pakistan where small and medium enterprises related to the agricultural sector are targeted. There are very few researches that focused on SME’S in the agricultural sector of Pakistan, this study provided a detailed insight into this sector. The study will be of great value to agricultural and SME’s owners on how they can create sustainability in their firm.

Purpose: The purpose of doing this research study is to explore the three important research objectives which explore the impact of fashion related behavioral outcomes of female university students, residing in Pakistan. The concept of this research study arises due to lack of academic inquiry about the influence of materialism on FC and SC particularly among female university students of Pakistan. Methodology: Building framework on these bases frame work is developed which shows materialism shows positive relationship with SC and FC. Reason is that Islam is most modernized religion and allows its followers to adopt all the new trends (of fashion or from any field). Findings: The findings suggests that the sample under study have religious thoughts, they full fills all the orders of Allah, say their prayers daily, but they also seem fashionable not vulgar. Everything that seems vulgar or comes in the category of extravagance is not allowed in Islam. Finding of this paper support previous work and tell that status and materially driven female students need to attain social attention so they use fashionable products to enhance their self-image. In similar concern, the relationship between other variables like fashion consciousness and its effect on self-image. Implications: In Pakistan, fashion consciousness is increasing rapidly. This study will be helpful for brands and policy makers to better under consumer need and serve them accordingly.

Purpose: The pandemic posed a major challenge to entrepreneurs around the world. Women entrepreneurs contribute significantly to economic growth. The recent pandemic situation impacted their reach to some extent, but women entrepreneurs, with their strong dedication against the crisis, succeeded during this process. Effect of pandemic on women entrepreneur sustainability is examined in this study. Design/Methodology/Approach: Entrepreneurship, Institutional and Social learning theories were used in this study. For conducting this research, the data is gathered from 309 respondents. SPSS is used for descriptive analysis and inferential analysis using the software Smart PLS 3. The provided hypothesis was analyzed in two-step approach using partial least squares structural equation modeling (Smart-PLS 3). Findings: The results show a significant link between the variables. While the pandemic as a moderator showed an insignificant relationship between women's entrepreneur orientation and women's entrepreneur sustainability in SMEs, the moderating role has significant moderation on the relationship between SMEs' growth and women's entrepreneur sustainability in SMEs. Implications/Originality/Value: Increases in women's entrepreneur orientation and SME growth resulted in increases in women's entrepreneur sustainability in SMEs, but the novelty of this study is to describe how pandemics play as moderator roles in women's entrepreneur orientation, SME growth, and women's entrepreneur sustainability in SMEs.

Purpose: Across the globe, organizations operating in testing services have made optimum use of this technology and seem to have won greater trust and confidence of the test-takers. The purpose of the current study was to explore the perceptions of ESL learners about Computer-Assisted Language Testing (CALT). It further aimed to investigate the challenges and problems learners encounter during the test. Design/Methodology/Approach: The current study had two phases: CALT test and a questionnaire-based survey. In the first phase, the researchers designed and conducted a CALT test to give learners some exposure of CALT. With a quantitative approach, the researchers in the current study designed, piloted and administered a close-ended questionnaire to collect data about learners’ perceptions about CALT. Findings: The results revealed that the learners had positive perceptions about CALT. Some learners encountered challenges while practicing in CALT. Around 80% of the learners thought CALT was adequate in assessing the English language proficiency of the learners and that it was compatible with the existing circumstances. Implications/Originality/Value: In Pakistan, insufficient number of studies seemed to have been done by the researcher. The current study fills the existing gap.

Purpose: The study aims to examine the organic food purchase intention of the consumer in the naïve organic market of Pakistan. Further, the study establishes the moderating role of price elasticity between TPB and consumer purchase intention. Design/Methodology/Approach: 440 responses were considered for data analysis. SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) is used to study the measurement and structural model. Findings: The organic attitude is a prime predictor of consumer purchase intention towards organic food products. In light of the theory of planned behaviour (TPB) study helps to understand the primary perspectives of consumer purchase intention of the organic food in the Pakistani market that is price sensitive. Implications/Originality/Value: This study makes a theoretical contribution to the theory of planned behaviour and practical contribution to the policymakers to shift the farmer focus towards the organic farming practices due to lucrative profit margins and at the same time working on the primary health knowledge to enhance the health-related literacy.

Purpose: The volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) world environment has forced organizational leaders more than ever to adopt new leadership styles in order to bring sustainable changes. This study tends to examine the impact of authentic leadership and symmetrical communication on employees' openness to change. In doing so, the study also illustrates the mediating character of organizational trust. Design/Methodology/Approach: A self-administrated questionnaire based on a Five-point Likert scale was used to record the perceptions of top-level and middle-level managers from the services and manufacturing sectors of Pakistan. Data were analyzed through Partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) technique in SmartPLS version 3.2.9. Findings: Results of this study reveal that authentic leadership promotes organizational trust among the individuals at the workplace, which further strengthens openness to change. Similarly, symmetrical communication also promotes corporate trust among workers. Interestingly organizational trust has been found a mediating phenomenon in this case. Implications/Originality/Value: The study adds important insights into the literature and practically provides guidelines to tackle the change management process in organizations. The study implies that in order to perpetuate employees' susceptibility to change, an organization needs to promote authentic leadership.

Purpose: In accordance with the Washington Consensus, most developing countries were forced to privatize state-owned enterprises (SOEs). Corporatization and partial privatization emerged as two alternative possibilities for any government in circumstances where full privatization was not practicable. Pakistan followed suit and began the partial privatization and corporatization of SOEs working in its economy. This research examines whether Pakistan's corporatization or partial privatization policies have improved the profitability of these state-owned enterprises. Design/Methodology/Approach: If so, what variables contributed to this improvement in profitability, as measured by Return on Assets and Earnings per Share. The paper used data from 1990 to 2015 of thirteen SOEs, largely from the energy sector, that have been corporatized by partial privatization through stock market or other mechanisms. Findings: Results exhibit that the primary criteria strongly related with increased performance of corporatized SOEs, according to our findings, are the appointment of non-government directors by companies and persistently positive Gross Domestic Product of the economy. On the other hand, debt commitments, ownership, and size of an SOE are all weak or insignificant variables in determining whether an SOE should be corporatized. Implications/Originality/Value: Due to their strategic significance, the energy industry should continue to be governed and regulated by the government, but with a greater percentage of non-nominated members on their boards of directors to maintain corporate governance.

Purpose: The aim of this study is to investigate factors that influence investment in mutual funds by individual investors in a developing economy. Drawing insights from the theory of planned behaviour, the study identified and tested the effect of awareness, attitude, financial literacy and preference for other competing investments on intention to invest in mutual funds by individual investors. Design/Methodology/Approach: Data was collected from 280 respondents in Zambia. Data was analysed using correlations and hierarchical regression models. Findings: The study reveals that awareness and attitude towards mutual funds significantly influence intention to invest in mutual funds. Surprisingly, financial literacy and preference for other investments do not significantly affect an individual investor’s intention to invest in mutual funds. Implications/Originality/Value: This study contributes to the financial services marketing literature by increasing understanding of individual investors’ investment decisions and drivers that influence intention to invest in mutual funds in Zambia.
