This study aims to develop local content reading books for the history of Wajo in an effort to add insight for educators and students from aspects of local history in Wajo Regency. The development of reading books follows 3 (three) stages from 4 (four) stages of development in the Four D development model. The research subjects consisted of validators as media experts and material experts, two history teachers as practitioners, and 60 students as a test subject. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and interviews, which were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of the study showed that: students needed interesting history learning and motivated students to learn more about history so there was a need for reading books that support learning the history of local content in the Wajo Region. Local history was seen as more interesting because it was more contextual than national history. The development of teaching material for the history of Wajo was realized into a digital book (e-book) through the stages of validation and testing to determine the level of practicality. The validity of reading books was carried out by validation by teaching material experts, media experts and Wajo historians. The practicality of this reading book reaches 75.22% in the good category so that it is suitable for use and does not need revision.

The availability of teaching materials for Indonesian language subjects in schools both at the junior high and high school levels in Lombok is quite a lot, but it is still very rare to integrate the topics of discussion with local culture. This condition became the basis of research on the development of integrated teaching materials on local Lombok wisdom. This study aims to develop descriptive text teaching materials containing the local culture of Lombok. There are four texts developed, namely (1) The life of women in Sade Village, (2) Men of Sade Village, (3) House Decorations, and (4) Materials for the Traditional House of Sade Village. This research is a development research by adopting the Reiser and Mollenda model known as ADDIE which consists of several steps, namely (1) analysis, (2) planning, (3) development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation. Research data in the form of numeric and test descriptions. The results showed that the Descriptive Text Learning Materials Containing Local Lombok Culture were declared valid and reliable so that they could be used in teaching and learning activities. The existence of this descriptive text material is expected to help teachers in the learning process. This research still needs to examine the effectiveness of learning outcomes so that further research needs to be done.

The reasoning ability of students at senior high school of 7 Ambon, especially reasoning is still low, so there are still teachers who pay less attention to the reasoning abilities of students. This results in students tending to work on questions fixated on previously given examples without evaluating analysis, synthesis, generalization, connection, and proof. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the PBL learning model on the level of reasoning ability of class X students at Senior High School of 7 Ambon on the material of the Indonesian lesson. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach with the type of research used being quasi-experimental. The sample in this study amounted to 50 people consisting of 25 people in class X1 and 25 people in class X2. Data collection techniques used are observation, tests, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is T-test analysis. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of the PBL model affects the level of students' reasoning abilities in the Indonesian lessons subject matter of Indonesian lesson in class X at senior high school of 7 Ambon. It can be seen from the average posttest score of students in the experimental class (X-1) senior high school of 7 Ambon is 72.6, while the average posttest score for students in the control class (X-2) senior high school of 7 Ambon is 60.80. This difference indicates that the level of students' reasoning ability between the experimental class and the control class has a significant difference. This is evidenced by the results of statistical data analysis "T-test" which is obtained by the value of tcount (4,132) ttable (1,711). This proves that the hypothesis is accepted, the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model affects the level of students' reasoning abilities in Indonesian subjects in class X SMAN 7 Ambon.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of learning creativity on student learning outcomes in Al-Quran Hadith subjects at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Nurul Yaqin Pekanbaru. This research is a quantitative research by testing hypotheses or solving problems on the basis of theoretical deduction, with measurements using statistical data. This research was conducted at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Nurul Yaqin Pekanbaru with a population of 350 people. The sampling technique used in this research is proportional stratified random sampling. The total number of sample population is known to have a set precision of 5%, then the number of samples in this study is 175 students. The data collection techniques in this study were questionnaires, tests and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study can be divided into three major stages, namely 1) Research Instrument Test Phase (Questionnaire/Questionnaire), 2) Classical Assumption Test Phase (Test Data before being analyzed by Parametric analysis), and 3) Research Hypothesis Testing Phase ( Statistical test to test the research hypothesis). Based on the results of research on the effect of learning creativity on student learning outcomes in the subjects of Al-Qur'an Hadith at MTs Nurul Yaqin Pekanbaru, which is associated with theory, it can be concluded that learning creativity (X) with student learning outcomes (Y) obtained tcount of 4.320 while ttable with a significance level of 5% and degrees of freedom (dk) = nk = 175–2 = 173 is 1.960. In this case, tcount (4,320) ttable (1,960), so that it is obtained in the area where Ho is accepted (Ha is accepted, Ho is rejected). In addition, from the table above, it can be seen that the probability value is 0.006, which means this number is smaller than the significance level (0.006 0.05), meaning that it can be concluded that the variable of learning creativity has a positive and significant influence on student learning outcomes
在这种情况下,tcount(4320)ttable(1960),从而在接受Ho的区域中获得(接受Ha,拒绝Ho)。此外,从上表中可以看出,概率值为0.006,这意味着这个数字小于显著性水平(0.006 0.05),这意味着您可以得出结论,学习创造力变量对学生的学习结果有积极而显著的影响

The dichotomy of retention versus promotion in education is persistent. It is a high stake decision teachers, administrators, and policymakers have to make. This article critically reviewed the die-hard retention factors and looked at alternative ways to deal with them. It emphasizes that the approach to repeating grades cannot be taken frivolously. Teachers, administrators, and policy makers' decisions will not only have life-long effects for the individuals upon whom they are placed, but they will undoubtedly affect the future societies as a whole. This article suggested that both teachers and administrators have the vital and deciding power to elect which approach to take, contextualizing curricula and professional development training sensitive to grade retention issues. Educational administrators and teachers must have the insight to recognize the failures and the courage to accept new ways to deal with old problems.
