One of the fundamental abilities students should possess in the 21st century is the capability to cultivate their interests, talents, and potential to enhance their critical and creative thinking abilities. The goals of this study involve assessing whether there is a notable improvement in students' critical and creative thinking skills in the context of reading when utilizing the inquiry social complexity learning model. Additionally, the study aims to identify the specific aspects of critical and creative thinking skills that exert the most significant influence. This study was carried out at SMA Bina Mulya, with a single class serving as the sample, comprising 30 students. A quantitative approach was employed for data collection, involving both pre-tests and post-tests. The collected quantitative data were subjected to analysis using Paired Sample T-tests. The results of the analysis indicated a noteworthy improvement in students' average scores, rising from 63.17 to 79.83, with a two-tailed significance value of 0.000, which is less than the predetermined alpha level of 0.05. This suggests that the implementation of the inquiry social complexity learning model effectively enhanced students' critical and creative thinking skills in the context of reading. Furthermore, it was observed that the aspect of analysis played the most influential role in critical and creative thinking skills, with students selecting 106 correct answers. These findings collectively indicate a positive increase in students' critical and creative thinking skills following instruction through the inquiry social complexity learning model.

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model in review text material for class VIII SMP Negeri 22 Jambi City. The subjects of this study were Indonesian language teachers and eighth grade students at SMP Negeri 22 Jambi City. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. The type of research used in this research is phenomenology. The data obtained from this study are in the form of observations and results of interviews carrying out the learning process in the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model in review text material for class VIII SMP Negeri 22 Jambi City starting from the initial activities, core activities and closing activities. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model in class VIII review text material at SMP Negeri 22 Jambi City has been running according to the PjBL steps proposed by Widiarso, E (2016: 184), namely: (1) determination of questions fundamentals, (2) designing project plans, (3) compiling schedules, (4) monitoring students and project progress, (5) testing results, and (6) evaluating experiences. Mufrodat learning is crucial for student understanding. If students comprehend and grasp the meanings of mufrodat within a chapter, it is almost guaranteed that subsequent learning will become more manageable. However, in practice, many students face challenges when learning Arabic due to their incomplete mastery of mufrodat. One of the reasons for this is the suboptimal and often unengaging methods used to teach mufrodat, which can lead to student boredom and hinder their ability to grasp the meanings of mufrodat. The primary aim of this study is to investigate how the application of the running dictation method can enhance the mastery of Arabic language vocabulary among students at MI Mambaul Huda Turen, Malang. This research follows a quantitative approach and employs the pre-experimental One Group Pre-test-Post-test Design method. The selected sample consists of all students in the third-grade class, who make up the experimental group. The data collection instrument used comprises multiple-choice test sheets administered through both pre-tests and post-tests. Based on the results of the Paired Samples Test, it is evident that the two-tailed significance value is 0.000. Since 0.00 is less than 0.05, we can conclude that there exists a significant difference in average scores between pre-test learning outcomes and post-test learning outcomes when using the running dictation method to improve vocabulary mastery (mufrodat) among third-grade students at MI Mambaul Huda Turen, Malang. This research paves the way for future investigations to further develop the running dictation method in Arabic language learning, extending its utility beyond mufrodat to other linguistic skills. This research aims to explain how the characters in the movie Mencuri Raden Saleh by Angga Dwimas Sasongko experience social events and conflicts. Ralf Dahrendorf's conflict theory can be used to identify social conflicts. The data used is taken from movie footage that illustrates social conflict. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method. In addition, researchers used the listening method in collecting data. This research results in that all conflicts in the movie are caused by the injustice of the ruling party as the holder of power from the ruling party. Conflicts occur between Piko and her friends with the police, Fela with the car driver, friendship, Piko's father with Permadi, Piko with her father, and Sarah with Permadi's men. All of these conflicts originate from the former President, Permadi. The implication of this research is that what Piko did is the same as what some people experienced during the New Order era. To obey the will of the Supreme Father, he will do anything, including committing crimes. If we dare to refuse, don't expect our safety and that of our families to be protected. After conducting this research, there are limitations in using Ralf Dahrendorf's conflict theory, namely not maximizing or exploring the theory. This article is entitled Humorous Situation Created by Flouting of Maxim in Comedy Series How I Met Your Mother. It is aimed at identifying the types of maxims being used in order to create verbal humor. The data was taken from “How I Met Your Mother” comedy series. This undergraduate thesis applied two theories to solve the problems. The first is the theory is the Grice’s maxims to identify what are the maxims flouted in the series and also to find which maxim is dominantly flouted. Whereas, the second theory is the theory of verbal humor by Shade. This undergraduate thesis used the documentation method for collecting data, the data was collected from the comedy series by watching the series, reading the movie script as well as seen at the subtitle of the series. Then identify the maxims flouted by the characters in it. The result of this undergraduate thesis shows that all maxims were flouted in the series. And there were four types of verbal humor implied in the series How I Met Your Mother.

Analysis of material presentation is an activity in determining the validity and suitability of a textbook for educational institutions. In essence, textbooks are one of the factors that support the success of learning. However, another fact was found that textbooks can also be a factor causing poor learning progress. This study aims to provide an overview for educational institutions related to the textbooks studied which can be used as a reference for selecting textbooks. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The object of research is the book Nahwu Wadhih. Data collection techniques were carried out using library research and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using content analysis techniques. Based on the results of this study, from the selection aspect of the book Nahwu Wadhih it aims to familiarize beginners in learning Arabic through an effective model, it is common for educational institutions in Indonesia to complete learning the book Nahwu Wadih every volume for 1 academic year. Judging from the aspect of gradation, the book Nahwu Wadhih uses Rotary Gradation, the type of linguistic gradation is grammatical gradation. Judging from the presentation aspect, this book can be taught by teachers using all existing procedures. Judging from the repetition aspect, this book contains various tests in each chapter. Selection of inappropriate textbooks can cause difficulties for students and teachers. This study has limitations in the literature review because there are few studies using the same subject. For future researchers, it is advisable to carry out an analysis based on other theories as well because there is a possibility that this problem will change. This study aims to identify the humanistic aspects that experienced by the character Jadag in the film “Turah”. This research using descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques observative and using Maslow's theory in identifying the humanistic aspects experienced. The data in this study is a conversation and the behavior of the character Jadag in the film “Turah”. This research focuses on the efforts of Jadag leaders in meeting multilevel needs. Every language skill must have its disadvantages and advantages, as well as writing skills (Maharah Kitabah). Based on the results of observations, there are difficulties in writing skills, namely different backgrounds When attending elementary school, lack of practice and uninteresting material taught by educators to students from the description above shows that there is a need for interesting media to increase enthusiasm for learning in students in writing. One media that can increase students' enthusiasm in writing skills is e-comic. E-comic is a digital comic that is used to convey information about the field of knowledge excitingly and entertainingly, besides the use of e-comics are more practical and can be opened anywhere and anytime as long as they have a file or access link; e-comic is also an attraction for students so that it can help in learning Arabic, especially in maharah kitabah. The research was conducted at SMP Daarut Tauhiid Bandung in class VII, which aimed to determine whether e-comic media was influential in improving maharah kitabah. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design in the form of a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design, which was divided into two research groups: a control group and an experimental group. Data is taken using tests in the form of pretest and post-test. The results showed that e-comic media using Canva was influential in increasing Maharah kitabah with an increase of 23.5; besides that, it was strengthened by a signification value of 0.00, meaning there is a difference in student learning outcomes. The novel is one means of expressing a history and the existence of forms of interaction in each plot of the novel. This study aims to describe the forms of social interaction experienced by the main characters Surya and Segara Alam in the novels Noda Tak Kasat Mata by Agnes Jessica and Pulang by Leila S. Chudori. The approach used is Georg Simmel’s literary sociology theory approach. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method. The data sources used are the novels Noda Tak Kasat Mata by Agnes Jessica and Pulang by Leila S. Chudori. The data used are excerpts from interactions between characters in the form of short dialogues. Data collection techniques used literature study and note-taking techniques for the two novels. The results of the study found that the forms of interaction experienced by the figures Surya and Segara Alam were exchange, conflict, domination, and sociability. This research aims to improve students’ writing skills at SMP Negeri 15 Bandar Lampung by using the Clustering technique. The participants of this research were the students in eighth grade. The total numbers of students were 33 students. Employing classroom action research, this study was carried out for two cycles at VIIIA. The main emphasis of this study was the improvement of students' learning activities and writing skills. In cycle 1, students were less engaged, less self-assured, and the classroom environment was still out of control. The cycle one learning activities' mean score for students was 6.53, which had a subpar predicate. Cycle 2 revealed an improvement in the students. They were more engaged and self-assured, and the environment in the classroom was entertaining and under control. The students' cycle two learning activities had an average score of 7.50 and a favourable predicate. Additionally, in cycle one writing test had a mean score of 64.81, with 16 students or 48.48% passing the goal. It indicates that students' writing abilities have improved. The writing test for students in cycle 2 had a mean score of 77.39; 27 students, or 81.82%, passed the target. From the data shown, it could be concluded that classroom action research using the Clustering technique can improve students' learning activities and writing skills.
