On Soft Combined Turbo Codes performance over Rayleigh fading channel 软组合Turbo码在瑞利衰落信道中的性能研究

Expectations and requirements for wireless communication systems continue to grow rapidly. Reliability is one of the most challenging criterions. Soft combined turbo codes technique aims to improve the error correction capability of turbo codes by using soft combining principle, at bit level, inside the turbo decoder. In particular, this approach is based on weight factors which are key elements that impact the overall system's performance. In this paper, we evaluate the performance of soft combined turbo codes for Rayleigh flat fading channel and Max-Log-MAP decoding algorithm. Especially, we analyze the variation of the weight factors in order to obtain the associated optimal values that provide the minimum error rate. Simulation results show that the optimal weight factor associated to the extrinsic information previously stored increases as Energy per bit to Noise power spectral density ratio (Eb/No) decreases. Also, they demonstrate that soft combined turbo codes solution performs far better than the conventional scheme in fading environments.

The purpose of this paper is to present an overview of existing active contours-based object tracking methods. This restriction to recent active contours-based approaches is voluntary for two main reasons. Firstly, developed active contours models are heterogeneous that we can divide them into several sub-categories which are designed with different information and secondly, an exhaustive review of all object tracking techniques is not possible in a single article.

Business-Oriented customer experience management 面向业务的客户体验管理

The main factor contributing in the revenues' growth of mobile operator is the delivery of a good QoE for their subscribers. For that reason, many interests have been focused on the enhancement of the QoE perceived by customers. In this paper, we propose a new CEM approach called Business Oriented CEM. It ensures the increase of the operator revenue while keeping a high QoE for the customer. This approach is presented through a troubleshooting uses case. The extra profit is around 20% per user per day using the present model while providing a satisfying QoS for the customers.

Control of complex dynamical systems based on Direct Torque Control of an asynchronous machine 基于异步电机直接转矩控制的复杂动力系统控制

In this article, we present a modeling of Direct Torque Control to improve the whole inconvenient by a system with discrete events, which is used to control asynchronous machines. This model is designed through the description of three-phase to two-phase transformation, torque and flux estimator, stator flux comparator, stator flux position detector, switching table and machine model. The complications of the stator voltage reference calculations were developed. The result of this control has shown an optimal torque response time, it controls almost perfect undulation of the torque and flux.

Comparative study of MPR selection algorithms based on statistical model checking 基于统计模型检验的MPR选择算法的比较研究

MANET (Mobile Ad hoc Network) networks are distinguished by mobile and dynamic infrastructure due to the behavior and random movement of the nodes. Its administration is more difficult and requires more technical and more appropriate routing protocols. The OLSR (Optimized Link State Routing) is one of the most widely used routing protocols for such networks through its proactive behavior that periodically determines the possible and optimal paths from source node to the destination node. This protocol is based on the selection technique of MPR (Multi Point Relay) that selects delegate's nodes to reduce the number of exchanged messages inside the network.

A novel design of a microstrip negative resistance microwave oscillator in the ISM band 一种新型ISM波段微带负阻微波振荡器的设计

This paper presents a new design of negative resistance oscillator with low phase noise by using microwave microstrip technology. This microstrip oscillator is designed at 2.4 GHz frequency for applications in mobile communication, wireless network, wireless fidelity, and Bluetooth. The final circuit is designed by using microstrip distributed resonator. The distributed resonator can be modeled by using the parallel RLC at the resonant frequency. The high Q factor of the resonator provides high carrier output power and low phase noise. The output power is obtained around 7.902dBm at 2.4 GHz with 2V DC supply and 12 mA current consumption. In this proposed oscillator, each step has been analyzed by using Advanced Design System ADS and following a theoretical study which permits to optimize the different performances of the whole circuit.

Molecular modeling: Application of Support Vector Machines and Decision trees for anti-HIV activity prediction of organic compounds 分子建模:支持向量机和决策树在有机化合物抗hiv活性预测中的应用

Multivariate methods of pattern recognition, classification and discriminant analysis have been found most useful in many types of chemical and biological problems. Predicting the biological activity of molecules from their chemical structures is a principal problem in drug discovery. Pattern recognition has gained attention as methods covering this need. In the present study classification models for inhibiting Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) activity, based on Support Vector Machines (SVM) and Decision trees (DT), are developed. The obtained results indicate that SVM and DT can be employed as a forceful tool for quantitative structure-activity relationship studies.

Evaluation of spatiotemporal fusion methods for high resolution daily NDVI prediction 高分辨率NDVI日预测的时空融合方法评价

The Normalized Difference Vegetation Index was introduced for monitoring vegetation dynamics. This index can be extracted from multispectral sensor data, such as Landsat and MODIS sensors, and therefore the NDVI can be obtained with high spatial resolution but low temporal resolution when using Landsat or with high temporal resolution but low spatial resolution when using MODIS. Spatiotemporal fusion methods were proposed as a solution for this limitation. By using these methods, images with high spatial and high temporal resolution can be obtained. STARFM, ESTARFM and FSDAF are ones of the methods that have been successfully applied for spatiotemporal fusion. The objective of this study is to compare and evaluate these three methods and apply it on actual NDVI Landsat 8 and MODIS data in the region of Tadla in Morocco, to generate daily NDVI at 30m resolution. This evaluation was supervised by experts in CRTS and this through two approaches. The evaluation approach one is applying the three methods to predict Landsat NDVI for 16 days based on predicted images. The evaluation approach two is based on predicting Landsat NDVI for 4 months and evaluating the results with available real Landsat images with statistic parameters. The Results show that only the ESTARFM method can handle the propagation of error for evaluation approach one and it is less sensible to the quality of inputs. For evaluation approach two, the ESTARFM method gives more accurate results than the STARFM and FSDAF method if input two pairs Landsat and MODIS NDVI are used from previous days with a RMSE attending 0,06.

Localization of rolling stock within the railway network model utilizing of web services 利用web服务在铁路网模型中实现机车车辆的定位

This article deals with a design of a railway infrastructure model which is designed as a data structure non-oriented graph. The railway infrastructure model is implemented by the database Oracle Spatial, utilizes the Network Data Model module. Further attention is paid to localization of the rolling stock and the searching algorithm of the previous or next railway station. The last part pays attention to using of web services for the localization of rolling stock and the description of testing mobile applications. For testing a support tools with a core of discrete simulation is used.

This paper presents the design of Novel Dielectric Resonator Antenna (NDRA) feed by a micro-strip line for anti-collision radar SRR application at 24 GHz. The proposed NDRA operates at a frequency of 24 GHz with a dielectric constant of 18. The simulated NDRA has a high gain (12.24 dB) and a high radiation efficiency (94 %). The return loss, radiation pattern and gain of the proposed antenna are evaluated. The simulation process was carried out using Computer Simulation Technology (CST) Microwave Studio.
