The prototype system of medicine-jet capsule endoscope 药物喷射胶囊内窥镜的原型系统

The wireless capsule would have been more comfortable for the patients than the traditional endoscope or enterscope. The wireless capsules, such as Heidelberg capsule, pH capsule or M2A capsule, just would be the diagnostic tool. The present paper would show the prototype system of the functional capsule endoscope that could bring medicine to the nidus and jet the medicine. The prototype system would have the imager, illumination source, microlens, two-way wireless module and medicine-jet subsystem.

An infrared fluorescence endoscope (IRFE) was used to evaluate several kinds of gastrointestinal lesions under indocyanine-green (ICG) administration. It may be useful as a novel diagnostic procedure for vascular lesions occurring in the gastrointestinal tract.

In vivo OCT imaging of oral cavity tissues 口腔组织的体内OCT成像

We use optical coherence tomography (OCT) with a specially designed probe to structurally image the tissue within the oral cavity. We have imaged different types of healthy oral mucosa, including masticatory mucosa in gingiva and lining mucosa in buccal mucosa. OCT can be used to differentiate between the various types of keratinized and nonkeratinized mucosa with high resolution.

Automatic in-situ observation of tissue laser ablation using optical coherence tomography 利用光学相干层析成像技术自动原位观察组织激光消融

In laser ablation of biological tissue, tomography of the tissue surface is necessary for measurement of the crater shape and the crater depth. We demonstrate here automatic in-situ observation of biological-tissue surface in laser ablation by OCT. Depth of a crater of human tooth is measured by these OCT images, and then the ablation rate of 0.21 /spl mu/m/pule is determined.

Full-field optical coherence tomography (OCT) is demonstrated using a parallel heterodyne detection technique with a pair of CCD cameras. A series of depth-resolved horizontal cross-sectional OCT images are acquired at 100 frames/s in a single longitudinal scan.

Rayleigh scattering microspectrosopy of individual nanoparticles 单个纳米颗粒的瑞利散射显微光谱

This paper is concerned with Rayleigh scattering spectroscopy using a dark-field optical microscope for the purpose of studying optical and electronic properties of isolated single nanoparticles. Size dependent optical resonance of organic nanocrystals was demonstrated using an optical microscope setup coupled with AFM. The adsorption effects of molecules on the surface plasmon resonance spectra of individual gold nanoparticles were examined in detail and the potential application of the single-nanoparticle SPR to chemical and biological sensors is discussed.

Study on hydrodynamic properties in dense media 致密介质水动力特性研究

Using low-coherence dynamic light scattering (LCDLS) method, which allows us to measure the light single scattered from dense media, we investigated the hydrodynamic properties of particles. The effect of hydrodynamic interactions on diffusion of particles is studied by measuring the dependence of the diffusion coefficient on the particle concentration. The hydrodynamic radius distributions with an accuracy within 3% are obtained for dense suspensions with the volume fraction of 10 vol.% by using the CONTIN method.

Eleven cases of oral verrucous hyperplasia (OVH) and 36 cases of oral leukoplakia (OL) were treated with a topical 5-aminolevulinic acid (ALA-PDT) that was found to be very effective for OVH lesions but not for OL lesions.

A novel cross-reference dual-window SPR sensor based on single silica optical waveguide 基于单硅光波导的新型交叉参考双窗SPR传感器

We reported the design and development of a dual-window SPR sensor, which is based on Ge-doped silica waveguide structure. By employing the WDM concept, a single waveguide can detect two or more kinds of samples in different ranges of wavelengths. The silica waveguides with low refractive index are good for lower SPR spectrum range in liquid. The two channels silica waveguide SPR sensors had been successfully fabricated and tested with two solutions, whose refractive indices are 1.361 and 1.418, respectively. The resultant spectrum has two resonant peaks at 626.41 nm and 751.8 nm, respectively.
