Algeria has a rich cultural heritage, but the heritage classification process is still flawed. There are indeed historical monuments that have benefited from the classification process, but in reality have been neglected, such as the Agha Palace in Ferdjioua. The reflection focuses on this type of classified monuments, highlighting the importance of heritage enhancement in Algeria. We try to compare the current state of the monument with the effects normally induced by the procedure of its classification, in order to detect incompatibilities in the process of its patrimonialisation. In order to propose a revaluation of the palace through a new strategic vision of its conservation, this monument must be able to acquire an economic value and a social role with a significant impact, ensuring its sustainability by associating the user with the value of the most appropriate use.

At the present time, digital technology has fundamentally altered both our daily lives and professional environments. New tools and software have emerged, becoming crucial across various fields, including urban development, by replacing traditional methods. Among these technological advancements is Building Information Modeling (BIM), also known as Better Information Management, which has evolved into a collaborative management process integrating architectural projects. BIM relies on technologies and solutions that intelligently model and structure the different stakeholders involved in a project. It creates a virtual environment that accurately represents buildings and urban spaces, including their geometry, spatial organizations, functionalities, and other significant information. This contribution aims to examine the challenges associated with using BIM as a collaborative project management process in architecture. It also seeks to explore new strategies that promote the efficiency and quality of architectural projects.

The article proposes a bibliometric analysis of digitalization in higher education. Based on research conducted in October 2023, the study explored 967 articles in the Web of Science (WOS) database. It highlights the growing importance of digitalization in higher education institutions and explores emerging trends in teaching practices and learning patterns. The study reveals a spike in publications in 2021-2022, likely in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the transition to online learning. The most active countries in publications on the subject are Russia and Germany accounting for more than 45% of articles. In addition, the analysis of bibliographic networks identified collaborations between authors and the most cited articles, while the analysis of key terms highlighted important research topics such as e-learning and digitalization. This bibliometric study sheds valuable light on an abundant field of research at the heart of the current transformations in higher education. However, additional analyses are needed to follow the rapid evolution of digital education in all its richness and diversity.

Vocal music teaching occupies an important place in the music education and teaching system of colleges and universities, and is also one of the core professional courses for music teaching in colleges and universities. Although vocal music teaching in colleges and universities in China has achieved good results, with the development of society, the traditional teaching model in the PRC has been unable to meet the needs of modern development teaching, especially in terms of concept as well as teaching content and method, which is serious hinders the development of modern teaching. Therefore, it is necessary to reform vocal teaching in Chinese universities. This article first briefly analyzes the current situation of vocal teaching in colleges and universities, and then suggests some strategies for reforming teaching that should be aimed at developing professional talents. The author talks about the need to reform modern teaching methods to diversify teaching and offer students flexible and targeted learning based on real situations and personal characteristics of students to meet the needs of social talent development.

In this article we will discuss a topic of a big importance which is the calculation of the social sustainability of sustainable development in the city of Skikda using fundamental indicators for such kind of study that are: employment, unemployment and poverty, the latter are basic elements for human development because they have a direct link with the assurance of economic growth and the elimination of the poverty, from the point of view that unemployment and the employment aim to fight against poverty, avoid the inequalities and the destruction of social relations as well as the exclusion, in order to ensure social cohesion and the partnership. The analysis of the different data in the city of Skikda confirmed to us that within our study area we can speak of socially equitable or solidarity development, which means we can confirm the social durability of the latter.

This study aimed to investigate the perspectives of undergraduate students in the TME (Technology and Mathematics Education) department within the Faculty of Education at a South African higher education institution regarding the quality of education they receive. Quality education is vital for equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary for their academic and professional growth. The research was framed by the Octet of Quality Theoretical Framework in Higher Education developed by Zaki and Rashidi. A qualitative case study approach was employed on ten Technology and Mathematics Education (TME) students to gather rich and in-depth data that would offer profound insights into the experiences of the students. Data collection was carried out through semi-structured interviews, and the interview responses were subjected to thematic content analysis. The primary findings of the study revealed several challenges, including limited access to resources as well as student support and involvement in curriculum. These challenges can hinder the attainment of quality education. In conclusion, it is evident that both students and academics require support to ensure the delivery of quality education. To bridge the gap in achieving quality education, this paper suggests that students' perspectives on quality education are multifaceted and necessitate focused attention from higher education institutions. By addressing these multifaceted concerns, institutions can take substantial steps toward enhancing the overall quality of education for their students.

As societal development progresses, the burgeoning demands and expectations for individualized education are on the rise. This necessitates a nuanced shift in educational policies and methodologies to cater to the evolving needs of learners. In recent years, there has been a discernible shift from teacher-centered learning to learner-centered learning. Consequently, the paramount concern lies in optimizing the efficacy of training methodologies. This study aims to investigate the potential of enhancing students' learning interest and engagement through the application of blended learning methods. The objective of the research is to systematically compare the outcomes, advantages, and disadvantages, and identify the key areas for further improvement.

This journal explores the use of transformational leadership in educational settings, and how to implement it so that we can get good results. The development of positive change, innovation, and cultivation of educational institutions, in short, requires transformative leadership. Not only does the journal stress transformative leadership for its potential to improve learner performance and teacher practice, but there is mention that it can create the climate for favorable school conditions. It also introduces a variety of ways that leaders in education can be successful practicing transformative leadership.

Urban industrial sites in Algeria constitute a colonial heritage that often undergoes a process of degradation and abandonment, leading to ruptures in the urban fabric. The question of their preservation is conditioned by their integration into a contemporaneity useful to the community to which they represent the heritage. Therefore, their future cannot be dissociated from the physical and social context they are part of, emphasizing the relationship between the object and the subject. Engaged in their epistemic posi-tions, this article proposes expertise on the heritage potential of Halle Volta, one of the industrial architectural structures from the late 19th and early 20th centuries in Algiers. This expertise makes it possible to understand the appreciations and perceptions engaged by a community towards this relic of the past, with the perspective of its management and transformation. This approach highlights the connection between the social and urban dimensions that can be raised by a heritage requalification project. The knowledge gained from this aims to address the issue of the requalification of Halle Volta, and, to a larger extent, the future of urban industrial heritage in Algeria.
