This study aims at explaining how the urban fabric of the Casbah City (Algiers) emerged and the mechanisms that produced such an urban pattern. The research focuses on the study of the impact of some Islamic laws; preemption, inheritance, the right of precedence, and endowments (waqf) on the morphology of streets, plots and blocs that constitute the irregular urban fabric. The study relies on the old maps of the Casbah and its topography to illustrate such physical and spatial impact. It concludes that the urban fabric was the result of the symbiosis of natural factors, mainly the terrain, the orientation and the waterways, and the legal mechanisms that turned into social practices. This paper can help students of architecture and urban planning understand how the urban fabric of Casbah was constructed.

The new city of Ali Mendjeli in Constantine has capitalized on the extension of the tramway line by adopting a sustainable mode of transportation that has significantly reduced car usage and alleviated congestion in the city. The introduction of the tramway has also led to the creation of outdoor amenities such as widened sidewalks, green spaces, and resting areas, which have promoted pedestrian activity. The objective of our research was to examine the impact of the tramway's arrival on pedestrian accessibility in this city. To achieve this, we employed a mixed methodology that combined quantitative and qualitative tools. We distributed a questionnaire to a sample of residents in the new city of Ali Mendjeli and conducted on-site observations as well. The findings of our study clearly demonstrated that the arrival of the tramway in the new city of Ali Mendjeli and the accompanying outdoor enhancements along its route have had a positive impact on pedestrian accessibility in the city.

The present of modern Ukraine is characterized by political, economic and socio-cultural changes. Under modern conditions, when there is a change in value orientations in society, a national state is being built, national culture is being revived, there is a tangible need to activate educational factors. Choreographic culture has significant potential in this direction. The concept of "choreographic culture" is quite comprehensive and covers diverse processes and individual events, artistic trends and activities of artists related to stage dance art, etc. Vinnytsia City Center for Artistic and Choreographic Education of Children and Youth "Barvinok" is a specialized out-of-school educational and educational institution of a new type of artistic and aesthetic orientation, which is a center of folk culture and a center for educating the younger generation by means of Ukrainian national art. The folk dance ensemble "Barvinok" was created in 1984. The founder and permanent artistic director of the group is People's Artist of Ukraine, Honored Worker of Arts of Ukraine, Excellence in Education of Ukraine, Knight of the Order of Merit, Knight of the UN International Award - Order of Smiles, Petro Boyko in his seminal work "BARVINOK. Raising children happy" notes: "The main value orientation for the future in the activities of the Vinnytsia city center "Barvinok" is the aesthetic upbringing of the child's personality, its concrete and real advancement in the process of creative activity, general development and formation of one's own potential (intellectual, physical, creative, social, moral, spiritual and aesthetic), which contributes to increasing the child's competence and helps his self-realization. As well as providing such conditions for learning and creativity so that the child can realize himself as a person at any stage of his life, enjoy the learning process and experience feelings of joy and happiness from the final result of his activities and carry these feelings throughout his life."

The article deals with the problem of usage of the case method in teaching business English is viewed as a crucial component of training for formation of business communication skills due to the ability to create and test actual circumstances that students can meet in business communication. The primary pedagogical benefits of employing case studies in corporate English classes are discussed in this study. The case method is an active learning technique that consists in the use of specific learning situations in the organization of the learning process, aimed at formulating a problem and finding options for solving it, followed by analysis in the classroom. Situational analysis is an active learning technique that calls for both instructor and student interaction in the classroom, in contrast to traditional education that relies on lectures and has little to no student involvement. The primary objective of the essay is to outline the benefits of the case study approach as a cutting-edge way for enhancing learners' linguistic and nonlinguistic skills.

The Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Governance Policy, outlined in Law No. 18/2017, has faced challenges in effectively protecting migrant workers. Despite being in effect for over three years, issues such as black markets and brokering practices persist, and institutional problems hinder policy implementation. This study examines the factors that influence policy implementation by analyzing relevant government and non-government institutions. Utilizing Mazmanian and Sabatier's theory (1983) and Grindle's theory (1980), the research identifies problem characteristics, policy characteristics, and policy environment as key factors. Bovaird and Loefler's (2016) Governance concept is also used to formulate directions for implementation improvement. The study finds that while some elements, such as the exemption of placement fees, establishment of Integrated Services, and provision of social security, have been implemented, other critical elements like the role of regions in preparing funds and training have not been implemented. Additionally, the research identifies diverse prospective Indonesian Migran Worker (PMI) behavior, hierarchical integration between institutions, and socio-economic conditions during the Covid-19 pandemic as the main factors affecting policy implementation. To improve policy implementation, the study suggests four interventions, including high-level leadership coordination, completion of implementing rules, policy socialization and supervision, and enforcement of legal rules.

The article analyzes the social component of the updated speech portrait of a university specialist. The sociocultural dominant of intercultural speech interaction is determined by the position of the individual in the social system, the situation of communication, his profession, region of origin, and age. In this regard, the subjects of communication are faced with various features of communication: this is communicative behavior, the cultural space of communication, the linguistic personality of a foreign language with an individually formed picture of the world. English language instruction at the Language Pedagogical Institute is governed by educational standards that call for a move to higher level of foreign language skill as measured by the mainstream European scale of non-native language proficiency. When learning a foreign language, particular focus should be placed on the practical aspects of mastering the language while taking into account contemporary linguistic trends, motivating factors, and the psychology-pedagogical aspects of oral speaking. Learning a foreign language becomes a creative process that opens up the culture and mindset of the nation where it is being learned. If a sociocultural aspect of learning foreign language content is fully realized, this will encourage students' interest in the subject and lead to more fully realized language mastery. The sociocultural field of research concerned with instructing the interpretation of foreign language speech is taken into consideration at the junction of competency-based and intercultural approaches. Emphasis is placed on the value of learning how to identify and evaluate the significance of social elements' influences on a speaker's speech behavior.

Phraseological units of two languages, in particular, Russian and Georgian, containing a religious component, despite the fact that the speakers of these languages belong to the same religion, are not identical. The article analyzes comparative phraseological units with a component-religion in the Russian and Georgian languages; the thematic classification of religions is presented; we attempted to analyze the similarities and differences in the thematic representation of religions in phraseological units.
