In this paper, we introduce the Guangdong Plastics Exchange's e-commerce application. The GDPE' e-commerce services include the B2B electronic transaction service, the Internet-based customer service, the logistics service, the goods charge financial service and the information service. The GDPE's innovation transaction model includes the trading method, the trading time, and the varieties of the transactions, the transaction settlement, the trading rules and the process of entering the GDPE's electronic market. We also give an example of transaction. Some functions of the logistics center are presented. At last, the GDPE's future view of e-commerce is introduced.

In this paper, the problem of Rescheduling Rework Jobs on Single Machine (RRJSM) is investigated. Suppose that a single machine has a set of the initial loads locked for some desired purposes. The objective of RRJSM is to minimize the maximum waiting time of rework jobs by scheduling or inserting them into the locked initial loads. Firstly, the RRJSM problem is formulated and proved to be NP-hard as for computational complexity. Secondly, two properties of RRJSM problem are addressed. Furthermore, a heuristic algorithm is designed basing on the properties and its complexity is given as well. Finally, the optimality condition of the algorithm and the judgment of optimal solution are given and proved respectively.

With the development of high-speed railways in China, it is necessary to promote standardization in operation and management to achieve acknowledge of the international society. On the basis of systematic theory and process approach, considering that railway transportation industry belongs to service sector instead of secondary industry, a system is established with the applications of Standard System of Organization in Service Sector. It elaborates the building progress of the standard system and discusses the necessity and significance of establishing high-speed railway operation and management standard system in China.

Abusive supervision is not scares in Chinese service industries. In this paper, we considered supervisor's personal values play a key role in predicting perceptions of abusive supervision. We tested our model consisting of 171 supervisor - subordinate dyads from Chinese retail organizations. Specifically, we found that in the retail industry: (1) supervisor's self-enhancement values were positively associated with subordinate perceptions of abusive supervision; (2) supervisor's conservation values were negatively associated with subordinate perceptions of abusive supervision; and (3) supervisor perceptions of interactional justice moderated the relationship between supervisor's self-enhancement values and abusive supervision. Implications for research and practice were discussed.

The rapid development of internet community attracts many web users to participate. The enterprises use smart phone to provide the location-based service (LBS) to circulate information, which combines the trend of vast internet community and extensive benefits of web business. Facebook is the most popular platform of Social Network Service (SNS). It inspires many creative and innovative marketing practices. This research uses Facebook Check-in function as example to study the acceptance of LBS. The established research hypotheses are based on the model theory of technology acceptance by setting influential factors of user intentions, such as “perceived usefulness”, “perceived ease of use”, and “mobility” as the main variables. Through online questionnaire survey, the researchers collect 118 valid samples. By using regression analysis, the results display that “perceived usefulness”, “perceived ease of use”, and “mobility” have positive impact on users' attitude.

The Korean Wave (K-wave), or Hallyu, referred as “the phenomenon of Korean pop culture, such as TV dramas, films, pop music, fashion, and online games being widely embraced and shared among the people of Japan, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and other Asian countries”. After the drama-oriented craze of the first K-wave, Korean pop music (shortly K-pop) took the integral part of the second K-wave. In addition, with the rapid spread of social media like YouTube and Twitter, K-pop has expanded its fandom outside of Asia to the West. The world-wide success of K-pop contributes to improve the `Korea' image and make a positive impact on Korean economy. It is reported that around 1,000 entertainment agencies are active in Korea, while there exist the “big three” record labels and entertainment agencies: SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment and JYP Entertainment. In this case, we address the world-wide phenomenon of K-pop popularity and the role of social media on recent boom of K-pop. Focusing the major agencies above, we present lessons on how to manage social media strategically: align strategic business model with social media; maximize various social media channels; engage customers with on-and offline promotions; and stimulate audience with exclusive contents.

Traditional PLS path modeling based customer satisfaction model could only handle continuous or Likert scale like variables. This study proposed an algorithm called categorical partial least squares (CPLS) to handling categorical variables in customer satisfaction model. Both categorical and numerical variables can be jointly analyzed in the same model and the proposed algorithm is suitable for both Mode A (reflective measurement model) and Mode B (formative measurement model). This algorithm was illustrated empirically in the context of a household appliance brand's customer satisfaction study. A complete process of using CPLS path modeling including model development, model assessment and the applications of the results was demonstrated. Moreover, the authors concluded with the limitations of their study and suggestions for future research.

We consider two competing supply chains, each consisting of one dominant supplier and one retailer. The supplier offers either a consignment contract or a wholesale-price contract. If the retailer accepts the contract, she then decides the stocking level and the retail price of the product. The demand for each product is stochastic and price-sensitive. We show that the equilibrium contract strategy depends on the price sensitivity of the demand and the cost-share rate of the retailer. More specifically, for symmetric supply chains, we observe that consignment contract is the equilibrium strategy of the two supply chains when (1) the retailer's cost-share rate is large, or (2) the retailer's cost-share rate and price sensitivities are small; otherwise, wholesale-price contract is the equilibrium strategy of the two supply chains.

Air transportation plays an increasing crucial role in daily life in the present day. At present, more than 33% of the world's aviation fleet is rented from leasing companies and the proportion is likely to keep growing. We study a problem of rental rate pricing and rental contract designing in aircraft leasing industry. In a framework of Stackelberg game, the system is composed of an airline and a lessor. The lessor announces daily rental rates and provides a long-term contract on a horizon with multiple periods. Identical rental rate is offered in the contract, if the airline promises to rent a pre-determined number over the horizon. We study two scenarios: 1) decisions without contract, 2) contract with fixed duration. We illustrate the value of leasing without contract. In addition, we demonstrate the lower bound and the upper bound for the value of the long-term contract. It is Pareto optimal in this range and given revenue sharing ratio, the equilibrium exists. Eventually, both the lessor and the airline get benefit from an appropriate long-term contract.

Considering two payment schemes, this paper examines the impact of demand risk, supply risk and exchange rate risk on the optimal ordering policies of a loss-averse retailer that is served by two suppliers in the global supply chain environment. Using prospect theory, we formulate a decision model concerned with utility maximization. We prove the existence of equilibrium and derive the optimal ordering policies. Using comparative static analysis, we analyze the impact of risk parameters on the optimal order quantity and the firm's performance. Finally, we conduct a numerical analysis to illustrate the analytical results.
