As part of a larger study, whose main objective is to postulate the existence of intonation differences between linguistic regions of Chile in the issuance of subordinate clauses substantive objective, this work exposes a characterization of three types of pauses (silence, elongations and vacillations) found inside the sentence structures listed above, issued by professional speakers from Iquique and Punta Arenas. The main purpose of the study was to determine the existence of differences in the types of pauses observed in relation to the sentence complexity analyzed, the gender of the informants and their geographical origin. For this, a total of 100 statements taken from interviews of 37 professionals (men and women) born in both cities were analyzed. The results indicated that there were differences in the observed pauses, in relation to the types of sentences analyzed, the geographic origin and gender of the informants

The ability of anguish to reveal the hidden is, evidently, in relation to the essential uncovering activity of Dasein . This proposal continues the transcendental perspective of phenomenology even from the Heidegger’s hermeneutic renewal. Anguish could be a pre-theoretical way of reduction; what we will call here ontological reduction. In this way, the anguish puts in value the affective dispositions in the project of thinking something which, until now, has not been thought.

espanolEl articulo se estructura en torno a dos ejes: (1) la concepcion de la filosofia como una actividad extremadamente recursiva en su aplicacion al saber cientifico, a la etica y a la pedagogia; (2) la discusion en torno al realismo y al papel que le cabe a las representaciones en la explicacion de la cognicion (filosofia de las ciencias cognitivas). Se pone enfasis en mostrar la plausibilidad de los enfoques antirrepresentacionistas o constructivistas en las ciencias cognitivas, en la medida que estos enfoques pretenden superar las limitaciones y prejuicios que son propios de los enfoques computacionalistas y conexionistas que le precedieron. EnglishThis paper consists of two main topics: (1) the conception of philosophy as an extremely recursive activity applied to scientific, ethics and educational knowledge; (2) the discussion about realism and the role of the representations in the explanation of cognition (Philosophy of Cognitive Sciences). The validity of the anti-representationism or constructivist-based perspectives, is highlighted in Cognitive Sciences where these pretend to overcome the limitations and prejudices that belong to the previous computacionalism and connectionism perspectives.
