This paper presents the design and implementation of a Fiber To The Building (FTTB) network infrastructure based on Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) technology in a hotel cluster building located in West Sumatra, Indonesia. GPON technology was selected for its cost-effectiveness and efficiency in the distribution area, particularly when the terminal bandwidth is set at ≤500 Mbps. The waterfall method was utilized in the network's design. The results were tested and analyzed across three Open System Interconnection (OSI) layers: the physical layer, represented by the link power budget; the datalink layer, represented by the Traffic Container (T-CONT); and the network layer, represented by the QoS network performance. The link power budget showed a minimum received power of -16.41 dBm on the downlink and -18.95 dBm on the uplink, with a power margin value above zero. T-CONT has been implemented with the fixed bandwidth value set to provide a bandwidth guarantee meeting the minimum requirement of 1.1 Mbps. The network performance of the FTTB GPON demonstrated excellent performance, as per Internet Protocol Harmonization Over Network (TIPHON) standards, recording a latency of 1.18 ms, jitter of 0.18 ms, and zero packet loss

Abstrack – The speed of searching for victims of natural disasters is an important factor that affects the chances of survivors. Most of the locations affected by natural disasters will be difficult to access, and currently, the rescue team is still using heavy equipment to open the access. This requires a long time to go to the location and search for victims. In this research, we propose a smart device to help the National Search and Rescue Agency (BASARNAS) use a drone equipped with cameras to search for victims of natural disasters in real time. By using this smart device, the search will be more effective, because it can speed up the rescue team in searching for victims at the disaster site. The process of detecting and calculating the number of victims is carried out on the camera using the Convolutional Neural Network algorithm and the You Only Look Once version 4 (YOLOv4) architecture. The results of this study are that the Convolutional Neural Network algorithm has a fairly high accuracy of 92.29% in detecting the victim's condition. Besides that, the height of the camera and the position of the camera also affect the accuracy obtained, whereas the results obtained with a static camera have optimal accuracy, which is 95% and the higher the camera, the accuracy will decrease, which is 67%.

Dalam penelitian ini, dilakukan sebuah pendekatan baru untuk house tour dengan menggunakan platform Metaverse untuk menyelesaikan kelemahan dari house tour secara langsung dan Virtual Tour 360°. Kelemahan tersebut meliputi keterbatasan dalam interaksi, pergerakan serta kurangnya kehadiran yang nyata. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis mengembangkan prototipe aplikasi house tour di Metaverse meenggunakan platform CORE. Proses pengembangan prototipe aplikasi house di Metaverse dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Game Based Learning (GBL) Model. GBL Model terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu Analysis, Production, Testing dan Release. Evaluasi prototipe aplikasi menggunakan dua jenis kuesioner yaitu Comparative Usability Evaluation (CUE) untuk membandingkan house tour secara langsung dengan virtual house tour di Metaverse dan User Engagement Scale Short Form (UES-SF) untuk membandingkan house tour Virtual Tour 360° dengan virtual house tour di Metaverse. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan prototipe aplikasi house tour di Metaverse memiliki beberapa fitur meliputi fitur avatar sebagai representasi virtual pengguna di platform CORE, fitur tour progress, fitur Panel Informasi dan fitur Ubah Perabotan. Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner, Metaverse memiliki potensi untuk menggantikan atau menjadi alternatif house tour secara langsung. Dari segi pengalaman pengguna, Metaverse jauh lebih interaktif dan imersif dibandingkan dengan house tour Virtual Tour 360°.

The Department of Civil Engineering, University of Riau has a Final Assignment Administration service. The Final Assignment Administration service procedure currently implemented is still done manually. Starting from the registration data collection for Proposal Seminars, Results Seminars, and Thesis Defence, data processing was carried out using Microsoft Excel. The amount of data that has been processed so that the processing is done too long. Likewise in Microsoft Excel where formula changes often occur so that the data is not readable. Therefore, the Thesis Administration System was built using the Progressive Web Apps (PWA) method. The system built facilitates administrative services in the Civil Engineering Study Program at the University of Riau. The built system can be accessed on various devices, using the add to home screen feature which speeds up installation, and can be accessed offline. Testing of this system uses the Black Box method, which is to prove that the functional system is running properly and correctly. The results of this test are 100% proven with features that run as expected.

Abstrack – In an increasingly interconnected digital era, network security has become critically important. Network security involves efforts to protect data and computer systems from potential detrimental threats, such as cyber attacks, malware, and data theft. The presence of increasingly complex and evolving threats has raised awareness of the need for robust network security. Network security is of utmost importance in the rapidly evolving digital environment. With the growing threats to data and computer systems, strong network security is a necessity. One way to enhance it is by utilizing an Intrusion Prevention System (IPS). An IPS is a type of software and hardware network security device that monitors unwanted activities that can disrupt network connectivity. IPS can take immediate action to prevent such activities. Suricata is a highly effective intrusion detection and prevention software used to monitor network traffic in an effort to detect and prevent potentially harmful attacks. Suricata can be configured according to specific organizational needs, including the use of customized rules and additional features such as anomaly monitoring and integration with other security tools. Suricata IPS successfully detects and blocks incoming network attacks.

21st-century technology requires everyone to see and continue to advance in learning in various forms. Technology is a reference in the success of the learning process supported by the quality of teaching, teaching staff, and curriculum. The Physics Education Study Program at the University of Riau in its learning still uses conventional methods. Learning is only carried out by students and lecturers in class in a short time so students often do not understand the material provided. Based on these problems, we need a learning management system. The goal is to add a limited amount and short meeting time. The system was built using the PHP and MySQL programming languages with the CodeIgniter framework. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method and software development uses the System Development Life Circle (SDLC) method with a variation of the v-model. Based on software testing using a black box, all features run 100% well and the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) test found that the Learning Management System has good appeal, clarity, and certainty. While efficiency is categorized as very good, stimulation and novelty are included as above average.

Abstrack - Shopping experience is important in winning the competition in the digital era, in this sophisticated era consumers can purchase products online or consumers can buy various products anywhere, but it often happens that the products purchased are not what they want, for example furniture products that are not suitable for the room they want, this problem certainly makes consumers feel less satisfied when buying a product. To meet the needs of consumers, businesses must innovate in improving the consumer shopping experience. In this study developed Augmented Reality technology that can be a solution to improve the consumer shopping experience with applications to visualize furniture into 3D objects, to make visualization more perfect researchers use a method that is markerless, a method that can directly visualize 3D objects to the real world, so that consumers can directly visualize the desired furniture 3D object without using markers. In this study, Blackbox testing was conducted with the results of all features in the application can run well as a whole. This application makes it easier for consumers to customize the 3D furniture object in their room before buying, so that consumers can make better decisions and improve a more interactive shopping experience.

Abstrack - Governance in medical record reporting must produce information quickly, precisely, and efficiently which will be utilized by hospital management in making decisions. By designing an information system on medical record reporting for elderly patients, it can improve the performance process that is still manual, such as when officers need information on elderly patient data or reports on elderly patient visits that still take a long time to be computerized and produce timely and detailed reports and to support improved services for the elderly. Descriptive qualitative research by means of Field Work Practices at Al Ihsan Hospital, interviews and literature studies. Development of information systems using the Agile Development Software method using Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 into the Visual Basic programming language. The result of the research is an elderly patient reporting information system that can be applied at Al Ihsan Regional General Hospital.

– PT. XYZ is a private company engaged in the planting and processing of oil palm fruit. Currently PT. XYZ has implemented a technology called the EuClid system which functions to assist the data collection process and reports for each staff. However, in its implementation, there are still several problems, such as missing submission reports, providers who often experience network interruptions, and data hacking or leaks that have occurred. For this reason, it is necessary to carry out a security audit of EuClids information system at PT. XYZ in order to measure, guarantee, and find the root of the problem also makes recommendations on the information system used. This study uses the COBIT 5 Framework with the DSS05 (Manage Security Service) domain to measure the EuClid Information System Capability Level. The results of achieving the value of each level in the DSS05 domain process are level 1 (performed process) of 62.5%, level 2 (Manage Process) of 65.36%, level 3 (Established Process) of 63.02%, level 4 (Predictable Process) is 62.6%, and level 5 (Optimizing Process) is 59.63%. Achievement at each level is in the range of 50% - 85%, so that the ranking in the ISO/IEC 15501-2-2003
