Settlement gauge is an important settlement measuring instrument of subgrade,bridge,tunnel,slope and other structure.The water cup-like fiber Bragg grating settlement gauge is made by applying the up and down containers connected structure.When settlement happens under differential pressure the diaphragm deflection makes that the same deflection change of the free end of the equal strength cantilever is produced by apress-transfer rod.Fiber Bragg grating which is pasted on the cantilever surface is stretched.Center wavelength is shifted.By detecting the wavelength shift of fiber Bragg grating settlement value can be obtained.The experiment result indicates that fiber Bragg grating wavelength varies linearly with settlement,the sensitivity is 15.4pm/cm,the linearity is 1.73% FS,the hysteresis is 0.984%FS and the repeatability error is 3.61% FS.

The performance degradation of secondary lining is the main disease that affects the tunnel operation. Therefore,safety analysis on the secondary lining structure by optical fiber communication technology means importance to the tunnel operates health.According to the actual monitoring data,which is monitored by the optical fiber Bragg grating strain sensor embedded on the secondary lining of Tianxin tunnel,the best typical function model are selected for the non-linear regression analysis and then the regression curves which reflect the strain development variation trend are obtained.Results indicate that test methods achieved the judgment of tunnel structure stability by forecasting support nursing structure(monitoring points)strain trend,judging support nursing effect and analyzing on current and eventually tunnel stability of supporting structure.

Bragg fiber is a new kind of microstructure fiber with wide-or omni-directional bandgap guidance.The mode of Bragg fibers with infinite number of H/L layersis analyzed,which paves the way for the classification of Bragg fibers with finite number of H/L layers.In comparative study of the properties of Bragg fibers with infinite number of H/ L layers,three modes can be classified in Bragg fibers with finite number of H/L layers in terms of the mode of spectrum.They can be identified as quasi-guided mode,leaky mode and PML mode,and their different properties are analyzed.

A fast endmember extraction method based on landmark point selection is presented to overcome the high complexity and memory usage of the classical Isomap-NFINDR algorithm.The proposed method uses the maximin distance method to initial the kcluster centers,and carries out clustering segmentation using spectral angle instead of Euclidean distance.According to the spatial characteristics of the image,Nlandmark points which are near to cluster center are selected from the remaining points after removing the boundary points.Experiments with real images reveal that the algorithm proposed has the similar accuracy with the original algorithm and its operational efficiency is improved by 60 times.

Glasses as the most common occluding object in facial images have a greatly influence on face recognition performance.In order to improve the recognition rate with glasses,the glasses need to be removed from frontal facial image.An algorithm based on principle component analysis and independent component analysis is proposed to extract the second order statistics feature and higher-order information,which depicting well the detailed features of a face.Gray compensating algorithm is adopted in order to remedy distortion,for which the image that wear glasses do not participate in the training of the feature space.Iterative compensation algorithm is used for face reconstruction.The simulation experimental results show that through the Yale face database,the synthesize images using the proposed method have not the signs of glasses,looks more natural,improve effectively the characteristics of face images with glasses and face recognition rate.

A method of outland envelope and identification of the grid is put forward in the ray tracing area.The mirror unit installation error is thought of equivalent for rigid body rotation movement in the space.Based on ray tracing method,the mirror condenser model which introducing the installation error is deduced.At the sometime,a comprehensive mathematical model about flux distribution is built,which including the surface error,tracking error and other factors.Matlab calculation procedures are compiled on the basis of verifying the correctness of the mathematical model.To put 25 kW concentrator as the research object,the influence of the structural features,installation error and other factors on the flux distribution is analyzed.The results show that the impact of the distribution and the density peak of energy flow by the mirror unit installation error is outstanding,the influence of structure features and the size is weaker.The drafty gap can be appropriately increased to improve the resistance of the wind.The calculation results present a reference for the assemblage of the solar collect and optimal design of heat absorber.

License plate localization plays a decisive role in license plate recognition.In order to improve the accuracy of character recognition by de-skewing,a license plate correction and location algorithm based on the RGB color space and Hough transform is proposed for the license plate of the blue background with white characters.It can locate the license plate after de-skewing for the license plate is inclined.For the license plate is not inclined,it can be located directly.The license plate localization accuracy is 93%for the license plate is not inclined,and it's 88%for the license plate is inclined.

Object detection is often affected by object deformation and edge discontinuity.A new object detection approach is proposed to reduce the effects based on edge energy image.Edge energy image gives the possibility of the existence of object's edge to some extent,which is easy to be calculated and has good robustness.Edge energy images of model and test image are generated from edge pixels extracted from images.Based on multiple resolutions sliding window,the region of the testing edge energy image which is most similar to the model edge energy image is chosen as the detect result.Object's contour is located rapidly based on edge energy image.The test results confirm that the proposed algorithm achieves fine detection rate with fast speed.

Influences of Compton scattering on the self-focusing of the intense laser pulse in underdense plasma are studied using relative theory and the model of multi-photon nonlinear Compton scattering.A new mechanism of the laser self-focusing formed by the incident laser and Compton scattered light is given out.A revised equation on the third degree electric current density is given out.The equation is simulated by using numerical numbers.The results show that the self-focusing direction of the intense laser pulse in plasma is decreased by the relative effect.The self-focusing direction is accelerated by Compton scattering.General self-focusing direction is the faster than the non-relative effect.The key cause is the frequency of the coupling light formed by the incident laser and Compton scattered light is increased than the incident laser frequency.The self-focusing direction effect taken place by the relative effect is compensated by Compton scattering effect.
