Objective: To understand the meanings attributed to pregnancy in the context of Lupus and antiphospholipid syndrome by women and healthcare professionals.
Method: Qualitative research, using Symbolic Interactionism as a theoretical framework and Grounded Theory, a constructivist perspective. Data were collected between January and August 2022, through online interviews with 27 women with Lupus located on the social network Facebook and in-person or remote interviews with 12 healthcare professionals.
Results: The theoretical model constructed has two categories: "Equal conditions, distinct experiences: experiencing the gestational process" shows that obstetric complications and lack of connection with healthcare professionals trigger negative meanings to the experience; and "Therapeutic management interfering in the attribution of meanings to the experience", demonstrates that the way women interact with healthcare professionals and how they manage treatment favors a positive reframing.
Final considerations: The meanings attributed to pregnancy are elaborated and modified according to the interpretation of previous and current experiences, healthcare trajectory and interactions with healthcare professionals. Previous guidance, planning, bonding and trust in healthcare professionals enable positive meanings, while obstetric complications, unqualified assistance and lack of bonding with professionals provide negative meanings.

Objective: To perform the cross-cultural adaptation of CALCULATE for Brazilian Portuguese.
Method: A methodological study conducted from January to December 2021, divided into six stages: translation, synthesis, back-translation, expert committee with the application of the content validity index, pre-testing in 40 adult patients, and submission to the authors. The study took place in the intensive care units of a public tertiary teaching hospital in the interior of the state of São Paulo, Brazil. The original CALCULATE has eight risk assessment items and is stratified with a score of 0-3 (high risk) and 4-8 (very high risk).
Results: After expert evaluation, the final content validity was 0.9. They suggested words and phrases that should undergo changes regarding textual equivalences, as well as definitions of acronyms and terminologies. In the pre-test, the items were assessed as suitable for understanding; only one item required additional explanation for adequacy.
Conclusion: The cross-cultural adaptation of CALCULATE for Brazilian Portuguese was successfully performed, revealing a good content validity index, confirming the relevance and appropriateness of its items. CALCULATE is suitable for use in intensive care units and research and teaching centers.

Objective: To understand the practices developed by nurses in primary care in southern Brazil.
Method: Qualitative study, with data collection via online interviews, conducted between October 2020 and May 2021, and recorded. 174 nurses from 24 municipalities in southern Brazil participated. Data analysis used inductive thematic analysis.
Results: The activity that stood out among nurses was the nurse consultation, for all age groups and health conditions, especially when dealing with chronic disease, prenatal care, attention to women and children, mental health, home visits, and the management of the nursing team and the health unit.
Final considerations: This study demonstrated that an excess of responsibilities associated to care and management, added to a lack of balance in the activities common to the team make it difficult for nurses to develop clinical practices.

Objective: To understand the practices of nurses working in Primary Health Care in caring for people in psychological distress.
Method: Qualitative study conducted with 30 nurses working directly in Primary Health Care. Data were collected from January to March 2023 through semi-structured interviews, which were fully transcribed. The resulting material was organized in the IRaMuTeQ® software and subjected to the thematic content analysis, anchored in the precepts of Eric Cassell's Theory of the Nature of Human Suffering.
Results: Five categories emerged: 1. Causes of Psychological Distress (14.65%), 2. Needs of the person in psychological distress (31.3%), 3. Team case discussions (26.5%), 4. Care network for the person in psychological distress (15.99%) and 5. Care instruments (11.57%).
Final considerations: The practices that nurses perform involve listening spaces to express feelings, case discussions within the team and matrixing and the understanding that psychological distress is the result of environmental, social, and family factors. However, they report a lack of training to assess individuals experiencing psychological distress and request the development of institutional protocols and training to support care.
(Theory of the Nature of Human Suffering)进行专题内容分析:出现了五个类别:1.

Objective: To map the competencies of Primary Health Care nurses in border regions of Brazil and Paraguay.
Method: Exploratory qualitative studyconducted between February and July 2020, with 64 nurses from six Brazilian municipalities bordering Paraguay. It was conducted in three stages: 1. Documentary study: analysis of legal documents to identify the nurse's competencies. 2. Application of instrument to the study population .3. Mapping of competencies, through the competencies expressed by nurses analyzed using the collective subject discourse technique.
Results: Twenty-eight general competencies were identified, categorized as assistance and management, and five specific competencies required to work in border regions: conducting a situational diagnosis of the border community; attending to foreign users with active and humanized listening; communicating appropriately with foreign users; identifying the epidemiological profile of the border; and, understanding the health policies of the neighboring country. The competencies required for the work from the participants' perspective were included in the mapping. The competence gap identified in the mapping refers to educational practices in communities.
Final considerations: The study identified the necessary competencies for nurses to work in border regions, but pointed out gaps in the training and continuing education of these professionals.

Objective: To validate the content of an evaluation matrix for the nursing process in the hospital context.
Method: A methodological study conducted in four stages, carried out from March to December 2022. Including: bibliographic research and selection of structuring foundations; construction of the logical model and analysis and judgment matrix; content validation by a committee of judges (n=11) using the Delphi technique; analysis of content validation data by calculating the Concordance Rate and Content Validity Index.
Results: At the end of the two rounds, the matrix had a concordance rate of 90% regarding format and 100% regarding other structural aspects. It also had a 100% concordance rate regarding the scope and representativeness of the matrix domains. Regarding the average Content Validity Index, the values were 0.97 and 0.98, for clarity and representativeness, respectively.
Conclusion: The evaluation matrix - consisting of four dimensions and fourteen evaluation items referring to the necessary stages for the implementation and operationalization of the nursing process - demonstrated excellent content validity, which can contribute to supporting institutional initiatives for its consolidation in hospital nursing services.
