Objective: To analyze the factors associated with the indication of echocardiography for the investigation of congenital heart disease among newborns.
Method: Retrospective sectional study through the collection of 848 medical records of patients admitted to maternity hospitals in Rio de Janeiro-Brazil, respecting the time frame from September to December 2022.
Results: The average age of mothers was 26.5±6.3 years; 52.7% were classified as brown. The average age of the newborns was 3.5±5.6 days. Maternal variables: gestational age (OR=6.93, CI:3.76-12.80), number of gestational risk factors (1.90: 1.47-2.45) and number of medications (1. 97: 1.40-2.77); and neonatal variables: age (1.07: 1.03-1.02), prematurity (10.55: 5.29-21.03) and number of risk factors (2.62: 2.03-3 .38) were significantly associated with the indication for echocardiography (p<0.001).
Conclusion: It is concluded that the different maternal and neonatal variables, gestational age, number of gestational risk factors, number of medications, age, prematurity and number of risk factors, respectively, showed a significant association for the indication of echocardiography. Therefore, the identification of these factors will enable the investigation of congenital heart disease at an opportune time among newborns.

Objective: To evaluate the usability of a lactation physiology video clips by healthcare professionals and to identify barriers and facilitators for this usage in hospitals.
Method: Cross-sectional study juxtaposed with the Knowledge Translation Model. The video clip was evaluated with the System Usability Scale self-applied to 63 health professionals from a university hospital in southern Brazil, from April to September 2022. Spearman's correlation test was used.
Results: The usability of the video clip obtained the best imaginable classification with a positive association with longer training time (p=0.038) and motivation for using it (p=0.035). The facilitators went to have institutional capacity building; physical space and moments of guidance for breastfeeding; brevity of the video clip with easy and playful information. Barriers were overcrowding and turnover, limited audiovisual equipment and internet equipment.
Conclusion: The excellence of the usability of the video clip in the hospital highlights the potential for its application in continuing education with professionals and in health education with users. It is concluded that the longer the training time and the motivation for using technologies in daily care, the better professionals evaluate usability.

Objective: To understand the practices developed by nurses in primary care in southern Brazil.
Method: Qualitative study, with data collection via online interviews, conducted between October 2020 and May 2021, and recorded. 174 nurses from 24 municipalities in southern Brazil participated. Data analysis used inductive thematic analysis.
Results: The activity that stood out among nurses was the nurse consultation, for all age groups and health conditions, especially when dealing with chronic disease, prenatal care, attention to women and children, mental health, home visits, and the management of the nursing team and the health unit.
Final considerations: This study demonstrated that an excess of responsibilities associated to care and management, added to a lack of balance in the activities common to the team make it difficult for nurses to develop clinical practices.

Objective: To understand the practices of nurses working in Primary Health Care in caring for people in psychological distress.
Method: Qualitative study conducted with 30 nurses working directly in Primary Health Care. Data were collected from January to March 2023 through semi-structured interviews, which were fully transcribed. The resulting material was organized in the IRaMuTeQ® software and subjected to the thematic content analysis, anchored in the precepts of Eric Cassell's Theory of the Nature of Human Suffering.
Results: Five categories emerged: 1. Causes of Psychological Distress (14.65%), 2. Needs of the person in psychological distress (31.3%), 3. Team case discussions (26.5%), 4. Care network for the person in psychological distress (15.99%) and 5. Care instruments (11.57%).
Final considerations: The practices that nurses perform involve listening spaces to express feelings, case discussions within the team and matrixing and the understanding that psychological distress is the result of environmental, social, and family factors. However, they report a lack of training to assess individuals experiencing psychological distress and request the development of institutional protocols and training to support care.
(Theory of the Nature of Human Suffering)进行专题内容分析:出现了五个类别:1.

Objective: To identify the learning needs and the orientations received by patients in the preoperative period of coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG).
Method: Descriptive study, with a qualitative approach. Data collection took place from January to April 2021, through interviews carried out with 13 pre-operative patients admitted to the cardiovascular unit of a university hospital in Northeastern Brazil. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics and the content of the interviews was processed in the software Interface de R pour les Analyses Multidimensionnelles de Textes et de Questionnaires. Next, an analysis of textual and similarity classes was carried out.
Results: The learning needs that were analyzed were divided in five classes: events that precede the surgery in the hospital; instructions received about the surgery; sites and recovery time after surgery; general questions about the surgery and content for the educational resource. Patients reported needs related to the process of disease, surgical procedures, and care before and after surgery. With regard to orientation, 53.85% reported not having received any.
Final considerations: The study identified that patients seldom received orientation. They need education on topics related to the process of the illness, the heart, surgical procedures, exams, care environments, risks, benefits, results, and changes in lifestyle to maintain health and quality of life.

Objective: To analyze the content published in the Proceedings of the 71st Brazilian Nursing Congress and the 20th National Research Seminar in the field of sexual and reproductive health.
Method: Qualitative, descriptive study, whose data sources were the annalsof two 2019 events that were related to Sexual and Reproductive Health. Content analysis and lexical typology were carried out with the aid of the IRAMUTEq® software.
Results: In a universe of 3,433 abstracts, 603 were analyzed and showed a higher prevalence of qualitative studies and experience reports, focusing on the maternal-child area and on the pathologizing and medicalizing processes of women's health, with incipient use of software in the analysis. However, there were signs of health promotion and humanized care.
Conclusion: The dissemination of studies in the field of sexual and Reproductive Health seems to be in a conflict between accommodation and resistance, at the same time that it maintains old imperatives of the hegemonic domain, seeking to overcome them with new methodologies and care based on integrality and equity.

Objective: To analyze the relationship between the emotional intelligence of healthcare workers in a hospital environment and their perception of the safety climate in the COVID-19 pandemic.
Method: Cross-sectional, analytical study, carried out with 81 health workers who worked in hospitals during the pandemic, between September and November 2021. Data collection was carried out using an electronic form, which included a sociodemographic/occupational questionnaire and the Brazilian versions of the Safety Attitudes Questionnaire and the Schutte Self Test. Spearman's correlation test and simple and multiple linear regression analyses were applied.
Results: An increase of 1 point in emotional intelligence levels resulted in an increase of 0.487 points in the perception of the safety climate. The most significant predictor of this perception was the ability to manage other people's emotions (β=0.334; p=0.003; R2=0.168).
Conclusion: A higher level of emotional intelligence in hospital healthcare workers was related to a greater perception of the safety climate during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Objective: To analyze the associations between the clinical characteristics of patients hospitalized with pressure injuries (PI) during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Method: Cross-sectional study of 237 PI notifications in a hospital in southern Brazil. Collection took place in 2021 in an institutional management program, with interlocution to the patient's medical record. Analysis using descriptive statistics, Student's t-test, Pearson's chi-square and Wilcoxon.
Results: The mean age was 59.4±14.4 years, with 59.7% male, 74.7% diagnosed with COVID-19. High risk (57.8%), stage 2 (80.2%), sacral region, intergluteal/gluteal region (73.0%) were predominant and death was the prevalent outcome (51.1%), with a median of 9.5 (0-217) days after notification. There was no association of death with diabetes, systemic arterial hypertension, smoking and reason for hospitalization.
Conclusion: The association between the clinical characteristics of hospitalized patients with pressure injuries reflects the systemic inflammation of patients affected by COVID-19.
