A boiler is an equipment that produces steam, which is used as a heater, drives a turbine to produces electricity, and so on. In order to avoid reducing efficiency boilers and save operational costs due to the formation of scale and corrosion on pipes, special treatment is required for boiler water. However, the facts in the field are that many BFW (Boiler Feed Water) products are found that do not meet the quality requirements set by the company. PT. Petrokimia Gresik is an industrial chemical company that uses boilers to assist its production process. The method used in this study is quality control analysis with the PDCA approach and Seven Tools in the form of check sheets, histograms, Pareto diagrams, control charts, fishbone diagrams, and FMEA to identify the factors causing the occurrence of defective products and see the corrective actions that must be taken based on the factors causing the occurrence of defective products. Preventive maintenance was carried out to create and schedule socialization of SOPs, collect data on spare part replacements, and check the chemical content in work unit wastewater. Based on the research results, it reveals that the PDCA approach and Seven Tools can minimize defects and succeed in reducing SO3 and PO4 parameter defects by 67,5%. The proposed improvement efforts include preventive maintenance, monitoring the consistency of SOP implementation, identifying replacement spare parts, as well as checking chemical content in work unit wastewater.

This article aims to analyze the need to conduct underwater inspection at a State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) using the application of the Public Private Partnership (PPP) concept. However, until now, the SOE still uses the services of a third party to fulfill this need. The use of third-party services impacts the high allocation of the SOE's operational budget for underwater inspection costs. This study uses qualitative research methods with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, literature studies, and field observations from January to August 2023. This study's results show that applying the four dimensions of PPP - identify key stakeholders, identify stakeholder needs, address stakeholder needs, and evaluate performance - is appropriate for the governance of underwater inspection implementation. The recommendation for the next governance strategy is to implement acquisition as a follow-up to the PPP concept.

The objectives to be achieved in this study are: the impact of per capita income on the amount of savings in Indonesia; the influence of the Flower Tribes Rate (BI Rate) on the savings amount in Indonesia. And how per capita income, interest rates and inflation influence the amount of savings in Indonesia simultaneously. The data collected in this study is the time series data period from 1991 to 2020 as secondary data published by Bank Indonesia, Central Agency of Staitsitika. The analysis method used in this investigation is the Double Linear Regression Analysis Method which uses the IBM SPSS 25 program. The results obtained are that per capita income and inflation have a partial significant impact on public savings in Indonesia, while interest rates have no significant effect on public Savings. Inflation has contributed a huge drop in savings. If there is an increase in inflation, then it will have a huge impact on the ability of the people to save. Thus it may be suggested that efforts to control inflation should continue to preserve the purchasing power of the population and the ability of the people to save

This article accounts for the phonological processes which govern borrowing from English to Lungu, Mambwe, and Namwanga (LuMaNa) languages. Guthrie (1948) classifies Lungu as M14, Mambwe as M15, and Namwanga as M22. Data were collected using elicitation, comparative, and document analysis methods. The paper employed Lexical Phonology and Morphology, and the comparative Bantu morphophonology theories. The study shows that LuMaNa languages use four major phonological processes to borrow from the English language, namely, epenthesis, sound substitution, metathesis or permutation, and vowel lengthening. Vowel epenthesis is used to create open syllables and break up consonant clusters during borrowing into LuMaNa. Consonant sound substitution is used to modify loanwords through devoicing. LuMaNa languages obey the following general devoicing rules; q/ð→t, q/ð→ f, z → s and defy the rest of the rules. Vowel sound substitution is achieved in LuMaNa through adaptation and nativisation of phonetic approximation. LuMaNa also borrow words through metathesis where two adjacent sounds reshuffle their positions to facilitate ease of articulation. Vowel length is used to borrow words from English to enable words to adjust and fit in the phonology of the target language. The study concludes that LuMaNa have similarities in the application of phonological processes during borrowing.
