The article is devoted to the study of body mass index (BMI) indicators of biology students at Samara University in 20008-2020. For girls, against the background of fluctuations over the years, from 2015-2016 to 2020. there is a consistent decrease in the proportion of people with underweight, an increase in the proportion of people with normal weight. For young men, changes in the BMI structure are of a more pronounced oscillatory character. The negative features of the 2019 and 2020 contingent are the emergence of overweight and obese people. Key words: students, physical health, body weight, Samara region, body mass index.

The study involved 14 volunteer students. Situational anxiety was determined, tests were carried out to determine simple and complex sensorimotor reactions, the cardiac rhythm of the subjects was recorded. Oxygen saturation was determined using an oximeter. Dynamic parameters were recorded: lying in a state of functional rest (background 1), vertical at 65-70° (vertical), lying after verticalization (horizontal), lying in a state of functional rest (background 2). The analysis of the data obtained was carried out using the Excel and StatPlus Pro programs. It was revealed that during verticalization, changes in the regulation of the heart activity of the subjects are carried out mainly due to the central mechanisms of regulation through the sympathetic nervous system. The transfer from a vertical to a horizontal state is accompanied by a restructuring of the regulatory system towards the activation of subcortical nerve centers and a shift in the balance of the SNS/PSNS towards the parasympathetic nervous system. Key words: passive orthostatic test, cardiac rhythm, simple sensorimotor reaction.

The article presents the results of a study of the reflex mechanisms of reciprocal and presynaptic inhibition at rest and when performing an isometric reduction of 5% of MPS against the background of twenty-minute non-invasive electrical stimulation of the spinal cord. It was found that at rest against the background of electrical stimulation, reciprocal and presynaptic inhibition was inverted to their relief, and when performing plantar flexion of the foot, on the contrary, reciprocal and presynaptic inhibition increased, but the severity of presynaptic inhibition was greater. Key words: percutaneous electrical stimulation of the spinal cord, reciprocal inhibition, presynaptic inhibition, isometric contraction.

The study involved men aged 60-65 years. The course of intermittent normobaric hypoxia (APG) was carried out for 3 weeks with breathing hypoxic gas mixture with 18-15-13-10% O2. Before and after the course, the reactivity of the cardiovascular system and blood system, physical performance were evaluated. It has been established that the course of APG increases oxidative metabolism, leads to a decrease in the level of sugar, total lipids and low-density lipids in the blood, an increase in the number of red blood cells, helps to reduce and stabilize blood pressure, increase physical performance of the elderly. The results of the study indicate the possibility of using APG as a method of correction and prevention of functional changes in the elderly. Key words: hypoxia, old age, blood, physical performance.

The proposed surgical procedure was studied on six unfixed male human cadavers. The removal of the end colostomy and paracolostomy hernia with subsequent intra-abdominal implantation of a previously prepared hernioprosthesis from the xenopericardium were modeled on the corpses. The use of the proposed method for the repair of paracolostomy hernias, including the use of a xenopericardial plate as an endoprosthesis according to an original technique, has shown its consistency and prospects for use on clinical material. Further studies associated with the use of the proposed technique of paracolostomy hernia repair in clinical practice seem promising. Key words: Colostomy, paracolostomy hernia, implantation, hernioprosthesis, xenopericardium.
