Purpose: This study examines the mediating relationships of achievement motivation, risk-taking propensity and innovativeness as well as the influencing factors of self-efficacy, family support, peer influence and institutional support on the entrepreneurial intentions of young individuals in Vietnam. Design/Methodology/Approach: The research questionnaire was distributed to major universities in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, significant economic and political centres in Vietnam, and numerous leading universities. The author analyzed the impact of independent and mediating variables on the dependent variable, entrepreneurial intention using the PLS-SEM software and the 425 valid responses collected. Findings: The research results indicate the positive influence of self-efficacy, family support and peer support on entrepreneurial intention through the impact of mediating variables, including achievement motivation, risk-taking propensity and innovativeness. Conclusion: This study has highlighted the positive influence of self-efficacy, family support, peer support and institutional support on entrepreneurial intention through the mediating effects of achievement motivation, risk-taking propensity and innovativeness. Research Limitations/Implications: Several managerial recommendations are proposed to boost the Vietnamese’ future entrepreneurial startup rate. Practical Implications: This study supplements and refines the model of factors influencing entrepreneurial intention by examining the influence of mediating variables, namely achievement motivation, risk-taking propensity and innovativeness on entrepreneurial intention. Contribution to the Literature: The study's limitations encompass convenience sampling which may affect representativeness and generalizability. Additionally, surveying only students may not fully represent young individuals in Vietnam.

Purpose: It is imperative to enhance local production, accessibility and appeal of basic foods like rice to accomplish United Nations Sustainable Development Goal No. 2 aiming for the attainment of zero hunger worldwide. Therefore, the study explored households’ preferences for locally produced rice (Ofada) in south-west Nigeria. Design/Methodology/Approach: Cross-sectional data were elicited from randomly selected 600 rice-consuming households in South-west Nigeria. The study applied the willingness-to-pay choice technique and a logistic regression model to analyze the dataset. Findings: The findings revealed that the most desirable attributes influencing households’ consumption preferences for local rice were nutritional quality and taste. At the time of data collection, consumers were also willing to pay ₦4.26 ($0.012) and ₦2.80 ($0.008) respectively for every unit improvement in those attributes. Conclusion: The study concluded that attainment of zero hunger in Nigeria is desirable and achievable by boosting local production of high-quality rice to attract sufficient demand. Practical Implications: This study underscored the effort needed to improve local rice production in Nigeria which should be targeted at improving the desired attributes to make indigenous (Ofada) rice attractive to consumers. This can be driven by stepping up investment in the rice value chain with adequate attention given to the processing stage where quality control and standards remain a top-most priority. Contribution to the Literature: This study presents a unique perspective by isolating and highlighting the desirable attributes of rice consuming households because these attributes played a critical role in the preference for local rice consumption.

Purpose: This study aims to provide valuable insights for stakeholders in Puerto Nariño, Amazonas enabling them to develop strategies tailored to their needs. Particularly, it assessed the sustainability of indigenous tourism initiatives in the municipality of Puerto Nariño, Amazonas. Design/Methodology/Approach: This qualitative study involved pioneering indigenous family tourism initiatives and a sustainability framework with a set of 12 sustainability indicators to explore the perceptions of tourism service providers. Convenience sampling was used to collect data through questionnaires. Findings: According to the findings, families are aware of the advantages of tourist activities with the culture-society component having the highest average score (3.13/5.00). However, it can be inferred that factors encompassing economic, governance and environmental dimensions such as employment and income generation (average 2.00/5.00), encouragement and convening spaces to promote participatory community decision-making mechanisms (average 1.75/5.00), reliable energy supply and enhancing knowledge of local wildlife, vegetation and sporting activities (average 1.70/5.00) remain critical in this indigenous context. Additionally, the initiative's governance component has been evaluated as having the lowest average (2.19/5.00). Practical Implications: These findings contribute to the existing body of knowledge on ecotourism practices in indigenous settings particularly in South American ethnic communities. Contribution to the Literature: These findings offer valuable insights for institutions seeking a deeper understanding of tourism practices within protected areas.

Purpose: This research aims to investigate the interplay between destination image, Electronic Word of Mouth (e-WoM), service quality, and tourist satisfaction during their stay in Bali. Design/Methodology/Approach: The research design uses quantitative causality. The data collection technique employed in this study involves a questionnaire distributed to 600 respondents, determined through incidental sampling. Findings: Service quality, while the services provided by the Monkey Forest staff are well-received by tourists; destination image, while the attractiveness of Monkey Forest tourist attractions is unique and appealing; and the beauty of the natural landscape. Tourist satisfaction exerts a positive and significant influence on e-WoM, while a satisfied traveler with the image and service quality of the monkey forest destination is willing to engage in marketing through electronic word of mouth. Additionally, two moderation relationships are discovered: the relationship between service quality and e-WoM, which is positively and significantly influenced by the variable of tourist satisfaction, and the clause relationship, wherein destination image positively and significantly influences e-WoM, with tourist satisfaction as a moderating variable. Conclusions: So, it can be concluded that there are five clause relationships between variables as hypotheses, including three direct effects and two moderating relationships (indirect effects). Research Limitations: The limitations of this research lie in the limited coverage of the research object, focusing on either a specific area or solely on one destination. Practical Implications: The implication of this study on the e-WoM variable, which serves as an endogenous variable, significantly impacts the Normated Fit Index, albeit within reasonable limits.

Purpose: Snacking is quite a common preference in this busy world. Increasing the availability of healthier snack alternatives might help consumers view snacks as foods that support health. Design/Methodology/Approach: The current experimental study aimed to determine the nutritional, functional and sensory properties of home-baked cupcakes encouraged with six variants with indigenous flaxseed flour (FF) and flaxseed oil (FO) in 10, 15 and 30% of batter substitution. A one-way ANOVA, least significant difference and Pearson’s correlation were applied using IBM SPSS version 21.0. Findings: Proximate analysis indicated an increase in ash, fiber and protein contents as compared to the standard formulation. The highest ash (1.91±0.26%), fiber (1.09±0.01%) and protein contents (3.08±0.30%) were observed in the sample FF30 (30% flaxseed flour). The cupcakes with 30% flaxseed oil had a significantly greater fat content (35.91±0.55%) and hence a total calorie value of 221.00±3.17%. Antioxidant activity and phenol content of fortified cupcakes ranged from 32.88–76.02% and 22–80 mgGAE/100 gms respectively. The sensory evaluation proved FF15 and FO30 to be the most acceptable recipes. Conclusion: Minor recipe alterations to snacks may yield large and long-term health benefits especially promoting immunity and reducing the risk of inflammatory chronic illnesses. Flaxseed oil might be used in snacks substituting for other vegetable oils to enhance the essential fatty acid content without compromising its acceptability. New formulations could therefore be tested to develop foods fortified with higher proportions of functional and nutritious ingredients especially given the ever-increasing prevalence of chronic illnesses.

Purpose: Low-carbon and green technologies are crucial for achieving industrial structure upgrades and significant leaps forward in the development of energy enterprises. Therefore, this paper examines the correlation between carbon emission reduction and financial performance in energy firms. Design/Methodology/Approach: A two-way fixed-effects model is developed using data from 33 Chinese energy-listed companies between 2015 and 2020. Findings: The benchmark regression results show that improving a company's carbon emission reduction performance leads to better financial performance. Moreover, assuming corporate responsibility for reducing emissions can boost companies' reputations and foster better relationships with stakeholders. The trustworthiness of the standard regression outcome is validated through alternative independent variables, reducing time frames, and incorporating previously omitted factors. The results of heterogeneity analyses show that reducing carbon emissions has the same effect on financial performance across all regional characteristics and equity subgroups. Furthermore, the internal transmission mechanism analysis reveals that female leadership positively moderates the effect, while financing constraints negatively moderate the relationship between carbon emission reduction performance and financial performance. Conclusion: Under the national green development strategy of achieving carbon neutrality and carbon peaking, the carbon information disclosure system should be improved by the government; enterprises should implement innovative methods for low-carbon economic management and operation; and regulators should establish effective green regulations, incentives, and constraints. This paper offers a comprehensive guide for energy companies and their stakeholders to reduce carbon emissions, thereby achieving sustainability.
