Introduction/Purpose: Economics is a dynamic subject whose students use the contents to address real-life problems. Therefore, this paper examines the transformation of economics to tackle teachers’ challenges in the teaching of economics. Design/Methodology/Approach: This paper used a qualitative research technique to collect information from teachers based on a phenomenological research design. A purposive sampling technique was used to select 12 teachers of economics in 6 selected schools in Buffalo City. A semi-structured interview was used to elicit information from the respondents and the data were analysed using a thematic approach. Findings: The study identifies certain notable issues including imprecise economics curriculum materials and learners' inability to demonstrate interest due to various statistics and data components of the subject. Teachers' participation in professional development activities such as seminars, in-service training and workshops for knowledge updates is one of the solutions offered to overcome these difficulties. Limitation: This paper uses only 12 economics teachers from Buffalo City metropolitan municipality. Larger samples can be used in another municipality. A quantitative approach can be used to accommodate representative samples. Practical Implications: Teachers are expected to be at the forefront of disseminating the contents of the subject appropriately because a teacher can only give what he or she has. Teachers should be proactive and current with the recent developments in the nation and be technologically compliant. Contribution to the Literature: This paper contributes to the literature by highlighting practical solutions to the challenges teachers face during the teaching of economics.

Purpose: The primary purpose of this study was to empirically examine the predictive influence of locus of control (internal and external) on adult learners’ academic attitude and engagement using the theory of andragogy. Design/Methodology/Approach: The study adopted a quantitative research approach and data were collected from 216 adult learners participating in literacy programmes in Oyo State, Southwest Nigeria. The study's data collection tool was a structured questionnaire that focused on four domains: demographic parameters, locus of control (internal and external), academic attitude and academic engagement. A partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) analysis with SmartPLS software was used to analyze the collected data. Findings: The findings of the study indicated that adult learners' academic attitude significantly influenced their academic engagement. It was revealed that the internal locus of control had a significant positive impact on the academic attitude and engagement of the adult learners. Furthermore, the relationship between academic attitude and engagement was moderated by internal locus of control. However, the external locus of control had no significant effect on the academic attitude and engagement of adult learners. Conclusion: Interventions aimed at improving adult learners' academic attitude and engagement should take into account the role of the internal locus of control. Strategies such as goal-setting and self-reflection critical to developing a stronger internal locus of control may be effective in promoting positive academic attitudes and engagement among adult learners. Practical Implications: This study’s results have implications for both literacy organizers and facilitators regarding support strategies to maximize learners’ engagement, motivation and effective learning.

Purpose: One of the talents necessary for surviving in the modern economy is creativity which may be developed when students learn about global concerns through education for sustainable development which is recognised as having transformational power. The aim of this research is to propose an electronic course structure promoting sustainable development issues and developing students’ creativity and to test its effectiveness. Design/Methodology/Approach: During the formative pedagogical experiment (2021-2022) in the experimental group of 28 first-year television studies students, we modelled a creative seminar structure and used it to develop an electronic English language course in the Moodle Learning Management System. The control group included 27 1st year students of the same major who followed the curriculum-planned course. The results of the pre- and post-experimental questionnaire surveys were analyzed with the Mann Whitney U and ANOVA tests. Findings: According to the results of the post-experimental diagnostics, the students of the experimental group demonstrated a more positive attitude towards the e-learning environment as one conducive to the development of their creativity than the students of the control group. Conclusion: The positive shift in the experimental group students’ attitude can indicate the effectiveness of the suggested electronic course structure. Thus, it is possible to conclude that using creativity as an organizing principle in an e-learning environment allows educators to introduce the most vital worldwide challenges to students as stimuli for creative tasks and in return, receive their creative solutions.

Purpose: The aim of this research was to present a method that would allow responding to both interests in a staggered and proportional way, in correspondence with existing financial availability.
Design/Methodology/Approach: This research shows the results of the application of a methodological proposal programmed in MATLAB, which provided a solution to the described problem.
Findings: The application was carried out in a small company, which has three fundamental products, and allowed to optimize the use of the available capital, increasing both the installed capacities and the potential demand for the products offered.
Conclusion: It is possible to define an investment strategy that, based on the existence of an amount of financial availability, alternates the investment in the limiting capacity or the commercialization actions in correspondence with what is the limitation of the organization, which can be a limitation of capacity or market. This favors a systematic increase in the utility of the organization.
Practical Implications: An analysis algorithm is developed that can serve as a guide for businessmen to design investment strategies aimed at increasing demand or capacity restrictions, as the case may be, based on financial availability and contributing to the systematic increase in the utility of the organization under study.
Contribution to Literature: A method is presented that combines the analysis of capacity restrictions with those of demand restrictions, an aspect that is generally addressed in the literature independently.

Purpose: The objective of this study is to analyse the relationship between teachers and the pedagogical requirements of the learning process that ensure that students use reflective practice in the learning process by studying the theoretical framework of the concept of reflection.
Design/Methodology/Approach: A phenomenological research design was chosen which is based on the paradigm of humanistic research. The method of inductive content analysis was chosen for the analysis of qualitative data.
Findings: The empirical findings of the research indicate that setting goals is essential for the reflection process. Students must actively participate in the process by focussing on, evaluating and applying critical thinking to specific content in order to achieve those goals.
Conclusion: The study highlights the importance of reflection activities in the learning process which allow students to base their decisions on their previous experiences, choose and verify the correctness of learning concepts, focus on growth, improve research skills and create new experiences. Teachers need to incorporate this into practice by actively involving students in the learning process to facilitate the reflection process.
Practical Implication: The result indicates that reflection practice is crucial in the learning process. Teachers need to incorporate this into a practice that allows the students to be actively involved in the learning process and take responsibility for their progress.
