Modeling instructional material using ontology 使用本体对教学材料建模

The purpose of this research is to review the process of ontology development for usage in instructional design. Ontology, which is a set of formally named objects, concepts, entities and the relationships among them in a particular domain is developed to allow sharing of knowledge and reusing of information. Out of three techniques for ontology development, the research favors semi-automatic development of ontology rather than manual or automatic development. Research then presents the process of semi-automatic ontology development using ontology learning. The findings of this research include the techniques involved in ontology learning phases and the tools users can use to embark on the development. Reviewing on the findings may help instructional designers in building ontologies faster, allowing them to be used for content development or as instructional materials.

Understanding the formation of intention knowledge exploitation in electronic virtual community from attraction theory perspective 从吸引力理论看电子虚拟社区意向知识开发的形成

The study on the electronic virtual community (eVCs) had been rapidly grown for many decades. The sources of social media become important for the firm's leverage interaction among the users. Despite the formation for knowledge exploitation on the contexts of eVCs still unscreened. To address this issue, we draw attraction mechanism to investigate the factor that's influence users intention for knowledge exploitation. We are conceptualizing attraction (i.e., desire for self-presentation and desire for improving online relationship) as the key is driven intention knowledge exploitation, interpersonal relationship (i.e., relationship compatibility and relationship of receptiveness). Proposed model supported by 258 participants who have been active using social media (e.g. Facebook, Amazon). The study shows that Intention knowledge exploitation (KEI) influenced by both desire for self-presentation(DFS)and desire for improving the online relationship (DFI). In addition, DFS and DFI have partially and direct mediating impact between relationship compatibility (RC), relationship receptiveness (RR) and intention for knowledge exploitation. Implications of these results are discussed.

Public complaint service engineering based on good governance principles 基于善治原则的公共投诉服务工程

A public complaint system is a practical tool for addressing customer issues in organization services, including government or public sector organization. As a government organization, Cimahi has an existing public complaint system that uses simple mobile technology through Short Message System (SMS). Unfortunately, such system has various limitations, such as its inability to manage customer details or to broadcast a common solution in real time. This paper describes a service engineering approach in designing and building public complaint system with adherence to government accountability, transparency, and participation. The engineering approach of this study is drawn from generalized service engineering approach and formalized as Service Engineering Framework (SEF), consists of four phases: Identification, Design, Develop and Deploy. We proposed a new public complaint system that is built based on SOA using the service engineering framework. We also conduct a survey to measure the success degree of the new system in fulfilling accountability, transparency and participation principles. The result from the survey shows that the system fulfillment has 49.48% increase from the initial existing conditions. This study contributes to the technical understanding of service engineering and improves existing service engineering framework through a case study.

An automated advisor system to suggest response after analyzing user writings in social network 通过分析用户在社交网络上的留言,提出回应建议的自动顾问系统

In the field of deep learning persistent research is going on to train the system by applying various algorithms and techniques. With a view to developing a well trained system many language corpus are built and then let the system to recognize the data. In this paper, we have proposed and implemented an automated comment advisor system that suggest emotion for comments after extracting writings (status or comments) from a social networking site (SNS) i.e. Facebook. Our developed system analyzes the sentences in each comment, parses the sentence for tokenize words to match the corpus type and finally makes a decision whether the comment reflects positive, negative or neutral emotion of human thoughts. This system also learns from others comment sentences and finds more appropriate emotion for the neutral sentences with ambiguous words where it is hard to find any emotion from the sentence.

The influence of individuals' traits on virtual community cohesion 个体特质对虚拟社区凝聚力的影响

This paper presents an analysis of the relationships between individuals' traits and cohesion in the virtual community environment. Individual traits relate to personal qualities of members of the community where this paper attempts to present their influence over community cohesion. Four research variables were identified to represent the traits of the virtual community members. Experience relates to the number of years with the virtual community. Type relates to the type of virtual community platform or media used whereas preference is the choice selected by the members on the most preferred platform or media. Lastly involvement refers to the kinds of virtual community the members involved in. A virtual community cohesion measurement was used to test the significance of the four research variables. The findings show that Experience, Type and Involvement of members of the community are the traits that can influence virtual community cohesion. Involvement in the virtual community was however found not significant in contributing to social cohesion.

IOnto - ontology driven approach for selecting appropriate ontology matching algorithm 基于本体驱动的本体匹配算法选择

Globalization allows many industries and enterprises to corporate and communicate with each other to provide services. In the era of knowledge management semantic web and related technology plays a major role. Ontology being the basic unit of semantic web realization will contain knowledge which is sharable between different domains. Ontology matching techniques are vital in querying and finding the knowledge in these. The problem arises when industries runs on different domains need to communicate with each other. Identifying the extent to which the knowledge is available in an ontology, with respect to a particular domain is a major problem. Currently this is done by human. Since there is no automated system one has to manually select an appropriate matching system and manually input the two ontology to be matched. This research addresses this issue by providing an efficient way of identifying the percentages of domain knowledge certain ontology has. The appropriate matching system will be then selected. This is an application research which uses the waterfall software development methodology. Once data is gathered, algorithms were designed, implemented and tested. System was developed using Java related technology using Jena as the inference engine. Test results provides a 67.7% of accuracy. This research will accelerate the enormous growth in the context of automatic communicating among different businesses which leads towards the concept of a global, single system for all businesses and industries.

Information model to support sustainable procurement 支持可持续采购的信息模型

Sustainable practices which increase awareness of people in industries which deal with environmental issues need to be implemented. However, information that needs to be considered to make informed decision on sustainable procurement is located in different places and comes in different form, either internal or external of the organizations. Thus, there is a strong need to consider this information to be interrelated and put in one place for easy access. The aim of this paper is to consider all of these concerns and develop information model to support sustainable procurement. It is hope that this information model is able to guide buyers in making the most informed decisions.

Factors influencing to the implementation success of big data analytics: A systematic literature review 影响大数据分析成功实施的因素:系统的文献综述

Big data analytics (BDA) readiness factors have been widely researched; nevertheless, few have investigated the impact and success factors of BDA implementation in the organizational context. The relevance and quality of BDA outcomes have been a significant concern to the organizational leaders in supporting them for strategic decision-making. To that end, the objective of this study is twofold. Firstly, it investigates the factors that influencing the success of BDA implementation for effective decision-making. Secondly, this study adds to the body of knowledge in the information system (IS) domain, especially with its focus on BDA implementation packages. Based on 18 selected papers, this review has established 10 influencing factors that may influence the success of BDA implementation, therefore, contribute to the practice and research of BDA domain and its effectiveness towards the organizational performance enhancement.

RoadCrowd: An approach to road traffic forecasting at junctions using crowd-sourcing and Bayesian model 道路人群:一种使用众包和贝叶斯模型的路口道路交通预测方法

Real time road traffic update is highly desirable for city dwellers, commuters, tourists and travelers. In this paper, we propose a novel methodology for estimating traffic conditions at road intersections. Our methodology involves crowd sourcing approach for traffic estimation as well as utilization of conditional probability distribution of traffic states at adjacent junctions. The later approach is inspired by Bayesian inference. Bayesian inference is used to estimate traffic condition at one junction based on the traffic condition at an adjacent junction. We have formulated two algorithms which are used to update traffic conditions and to retrieve traffic conditions respectively based on the crowd sourced data and the probabilistic methodology. A web based prototype has been developed which incorporates the described methodology. The initial evaluation shows the feasibility of our proposed methodology.

Many education institutions or organizations have started to incorporate information technology into their learning modules to facilitate and motivate their students in learning better during their studies. Among the most recently developed using information technology platform is Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), a free online learning platform. However, due to its self learning feature, many MOOCs recorded declining students' engagement rate‥ Incorporating gamification component in MOOC can engage students to be more active in using MOOC for their studies. Hence, The purpose of this study is to develop a framework in order to implement gamification in MOOC effectively. This paper will take into account reviews of MOOC with gamification globally to further understand its effectiveness.
