The study aimed to describe the phenotypic traits of Indigenous chicken. A field survey was conducted in South Jordan, Karak governorate, and data were recorded for each bird's morphological and biometric traits. Furthermore, information such as height, latitude, longitude, and rearing and breeding practices were recorded, followed by several statistical analyses. The results showed that the phenotypic characteristics of the chickens are unevenly distributed between regions and heights. This may reflect the correlation between phenotype traits of morphology and their expression of different levels with the impact of the environment. Random mating and human selection practices were also discovered and observed. In addition, the studied traits indicated that chickens are still being raised in traditional methods, and there are no genetic improvement practices or genetic groups of geographically distant regions. The correlation coefficients between these traits and their relationship with the region and height were also reported. As a result, it could be recommended that chicken farmers be educated on the best administrative, technical, and genetic improvement techniques and practice for their flocks are to achieve highly productive and optimal adaptability.

This research aimed to identify the levels of participation in physical activities and their relationship to motor satisfaction among the elderly. Eighty-three participants, ranging in age from 60¬–75 years, engaged in this study. The measure of motor satisfaction, the levels of participation in sports and physical activities questionnaires were applied in the data collection process. The findings suggest that there is a significant positive relationship between the level of positive participation and the measure of movement satisfaction. However, no statistically significant relationship was found between the level of emotional participation and the motor satisfaction scale. Furthermore, statistically significant differences were evident on the motor satisfaction scale between the 60–65 and 71–75 age groups, with greater satisfaction among those aged 60¬–65. The research results implied the need to consider the clubs and sports centres when planning sports or physical activities programmes for the elderly and to provide opportunities to choose appropriate activities according to their needs, including physical, psychological, health and social needs, as this will help them achieve physical satisfaction when participating in activities.

This article endeavors to comprehensively explore the spiritual experiences within Christianity, and Islam. It aims to examine the similarities and dissimilarities between Monasticism (existing in Christianity) and Sufism (existing in Islam). The article delves into inquiries regarding whether monasticism serves as the origin of Sufism, the potential reciprocal influence between the two phenomena, and the absence of any connection between them. To accomplish this, the paper employs both inductive and analytical methodologies. Pertaining to similarities, both Monasticism and Sufism encompass disengagement from worldly affairs, seclusion from society, renunciation of materialistic existence, utilization of chants and hymns. Nonetheless, these entities diverge in terms of their approaches towards places of worship, inclination towards celibacy, reliance on symbolic language, religious rituals, the significance of silence, attitudes towards women, as well as the expressions of love and fear. Ultimately, a prevalent discovery emerges that spiritual experiences transcend religious boundaries. Despite variations in individuals' religious backgrounds, the spiritual dimension constitutes a shared element among them. KEYWORDS Gratitude method, intuitive method, knowledge philosophy, knowledge source, religious philosophy, spiritual exercise

The effects of cadmium (Cd) on testes were examined in rats injected subcutaneously with cadmium chloride (CdCl2) at a dosage of 7 mg/kg body weight. Following CdCl2 treatment, the rats were euthanized with phenobarbital sodium 24 hours post-injection, and their testes were subsequently removed and homogenized. The extent of hemorrhage was assessed by employing a spectrophotometer to measure the absorbance of hemoglobin at 414 nm in the soluble fraction of the organ homogenates. Exposure to Cd resulted in severe hemorrhage and increased hemoglobin absorbance in the testes of the treated animals. However, oral pre-treatment of different animal groups with various plant antioxidant extracts, such as ginger extract, pure garlic juice, pure broccoli juice, pure mint juice, and curcumin, administered in seven successive doses over seven days, significantly mitigated Cd-induced testicular hemorrhage. Consequently, it was concluded that the antioxidant properties of these plant extracts could effectively prevent cardiovascular damage to rat testes induced by Cd.

Natural pharmaceutical compounds are relied upon for the treatment of many diseases due to their capacity to possess natural ingredients with medicinal properties that can treat side effects resulting from the toxicity of chemical compounds, such as drugs that treat cancer. We prefer to use ginseng, which is well known for the treatment of stubborn infertility cases and hormonal disorders associated with menopause, hence the importance of this study and the possibility of benefiting from the use of ginseng to treat negative side effects resulting from the use of the drug Doxorubicin. Doxorubicin is a widely-used anti-cancer drug, but it causes a number of negative side effects when treating tumours, including its effect on Graafian follicles and corpus luteum bodies, which play a major role in ovarian activity. We conclude that ginseng is able to maintain near-normal levels of sex hormones despite the presence of the toxic effect of Doxorubicin on ovarian activity. This is due to ginseng’s beneficial effect on the abnormal stimulation of gonadal cells or the increase in hormonal secretion (FSH & LH). Ginseng is also able to stimulate the genes responsible for producing ovarian hormones by mimicking their receptors instead of their original complex. This might result in an improvement in the number of ovulation phases. KEYWORDS Corpus luteum, cytotoxic, graafian follicle, pituitary gland, progesterone, sex hormones

Students with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) need teaching strategies that support their learning, such as Dunn and Dunn’s model, which can help them reach their full potential. This study aimed to investigate teachers' knowledge of Dunn and Dunn's model as one of the learning styles models and their perceptions of the importance of using it for students with ADHD. This study utilized a descriptive approach by employing a survey to collect the data. The study sample consisted of 115 teachers in elementary schools in Riyadh city that have ADHD programs. The findings of the study indicated that teachers had no knowledge of Dunn and Dunn’s model, and therefore their perceptions about the importance of using it were low. Additionally, the results showed that there were no significant differences based on the variables (gender, educational qualification, specialization, training courses). The results did, however, reveal that there were significant differences according to the years of teachers’ experience: two to five years of experience showed optimum results. Based on the results of the study, several recommendations were suggested, such as the importance of lectures and workshops under the supervision of specialists in the appropriate learning style.

Children's expressive drawings during the formal perception stage (FPS) are loaded with realistic experience; they represent a level of mental and social maturity and clarify the relationship of children's drawings to local social issues. The study employed drawings during the FPS in order to design social comics. They are drawings that combine pictures and writings about social issues, inspired by children's drawings. The study’s importance lies in describing the characteristics of drawings in the FPS, clarifying the relationship between drawings and local social issues, and demonstrating the possibility of employing children's drawings to design social comics. The sample of the study was intentionally selected, employing six children of the FPS, age 7–9 years, in the Riyadh region, and the study followed descriptive and semi-experimental approaches. The study highlighted the expressive characteristics of the FPS. It also showed a relationship between children's drawings and the social issues surrounding them. Furthermore, it emphasized the possibility of using digital programs to reshape children's drawings and present them as a contemporary artistic outlet. The study also recommended the need to focus on the social role in the child's life to contribute to the development of the various aspects of their personality.

This paper examines how male critics in Saudi Arabia received the pre-1980 works of Saudi female novelists in their critical studies. It seeks to explain why many Saudi and Arab male literary critics either ignored or decried these pioneering novels by highlighting the essential criteria they adopted in their evaluation and criticism of such texts. This paper establishes that these novels were poorly received—and unjustly so—compared to those written by men in the same period. Male critics subconsciously dismissed or disregarded these novels on the grounds that they were of limited literary quality, did not belong to what was accepted as the Saudi social and cultural environment, or did not represent the reality of Saudi women’s lives. Many Saudi male novelists would have been characterized as having no artistic value or failing to represent the Saudi social reality had these same core evaluative criteria been adopted in the criticism of their early works. Deixis is manifested especially as the pronouns I, you and he. It is possible to appoint the person producing the discourse and the participant in it. Deixis may be received, accompanied by gestures, to express a specific purpose and help the addressee communicate the meaning of what is referred to. When using a pronoun, you refer to one of the parties to the discourse and determine their place in it, especially if the speaker has political authority. The mechanism used by deixis to direct the discourse and the success of the communication process is important to clarifying the speaker's intention in a contemporary political discourse. An example of this is the discourse of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman at the G-20 summit and his use of deixis to understand, persuade and influence, as well as his statement on the nature of the relationship between the speaker and his addressees. This study clarifies the nature of deixis in general and personal deixis in particular. It explores their types and presents the study model for analysis according to the pragmatic approach to explain the status of the counselors and their importance in the analysis of political discourse.

This research paper investigates the significance of financial accessibility for social entrepreneurship (SE) in fostering sustainable development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). It commences with an exploration of the importance of SE, followed by a discussion on the obstacles social entrepreneurs encounter in securing financial resources. This paper delves into various financing avenues: government initiatives, venture capital, angel investment, crowdfunding, investor collaborations, and corporate social responsibility. Data were gathered from 300 respondents representing social entrepreneurs across diverse regions in the KSA to prioritize the factors and challenges that impede financial access for social entrepreneurs. The findings, utilizing descriptive data analysis, reveal that the primary constraint is insufficient financial infrastructure, with 25% of respondents identifying this as a significant factor. In contrast, a mere 5% of respondents cited the lack of a regulatory framework, and only 12% pointed to the dearth of field expertise as a contributing factor. In addition, 19% of respondents reported that limited awareness of opportunities is another significant obstacle. This study evaluates the critical factors affecting Saudi social entrepreneurs and provides recommendations to enhance financial accessibility, drawing on examples from leading countries in the SE domain.
