Motivation can have a great impact on the improvement of employees and the organizational performance. Therefore, it is important to examine which factors contribute to the employees? motivation. Previous researches in the field of organizational behavior rarely examined in which way communication affects employees? motivation. Relying on previous empirical research, social identity theory and self-categorization theory, a model of the impact of internal communication on the employees? motivation through their identification with the organization was formulated. The model assumes that there is a direct and positive impact of internal communication on employees? identification with the organization, as well as the direct and positive impact of internal communication on employees? motivation. Additionally, it assumes indirect effect of the internal communication on the employees? motivation through their identification. Communication was observed through upward and downward communication (information) flows, and through superiors? communication with the emphasis on listening, which all reflect the communication climate. Identification was observed through the identification of the employees with goals, mission and vision, and the culture of the organization. The level of motivation was measured as the level in which employees feel more secure, the level in which they feel that they belong to the organization, and the level of their self-confirmation. The model was tested on a sample of 144 employees in three different organizations operating in the territory of Belgrade (Republic of Serbia). The observed organizations were medium-sized firms that are operating in the field of banking, trade, and higher education. The data were collected through on-line survey. The survey was conducted in the last quarter of 2018. The statistical method used was structural equation modeling through partial squares (PLS-SEM). The results of the conducted research revealed a positive and statistically significant relationship between internal communication and the level of employees? identification with the organization. It was also confirmed that the employees? identification with the organization directly and positively influences the employees? motivation. In addition, the results indicate that internal communication contributes to better employees? motivation, and it was found that one part of this impact is accomplished directly, while the other part is accomplished indirectly, through the increase of the employees? identification with the organization. Based on the results, recommendations to managers are proposed, as well as the guidelines for future research.

The concept of mind-mindedness is an important contribution to understanding mother-child interactions in the light of attachment. It is created to explain the influence of sensitive parenting on the formation of a secure attachment. Although research on this concept has been carried out over the past twenty years, in our psychological literature dedicated to the social-emotional development, it is only mentioned by reference, as one of the factors that influence the development of secure attachment, or as a mechanism by which transgenerational transmission of attachment patterns can be explained. Therefore, because of its significance and actuality, in this paper the concept of mind-mindedness will be presented in more detail. First of all, attention will be paid to the origin and development of the idea itself, then the methods of assessment will be described, and then the results of the research important for shedding light on the theoretical background of this phenomenon will be presented. In addition, we will describe the correlation of mind-mindedness and the other concepts created in an attempt to understand how parents experience their own child.

Extended self is an important psychological-marketing construct that explains the relation between a consumer?s self-concept and possessions, i.e. the importance consumers ascribe to possessions in their lives. Extended self does not comprise of material goods solely, but rather an individual?s body, their internal processes, ideas, locations, experiences, and other persons. Although this topic is of high importance for understanding the consumers? behaviour, it has not been covered in the domestic scientific literature. The aim of this paper is to critically analyse the concept of extended self and to unite the newer studies with studies that had been carried out before digital technologies were used intensively. Meta-analysis was used as a main method of research, for the purpose of integrating the findings of a large number of individual studies and making an objective synthesis of the results. The analysis has shown that the extended self consists of several layers, hierarchy of which differing between individuals, depending on the importance ascribed to certain forms of possessions. During a lifetime, the construct of extended self changes. Besides the individual self-concept, it is important to observe the group extended self. The introduction of digital technologies has significantly modified the construct of consumers? extended self. It has been influenced by dematerialisation of goods, mass communication and information sharing with many people, and with the possibility of completely masking one?s personal identity online. A good knowledge of the extended self can significantly help marketing researchers to conduct more detailed quantitative and qualitative research of the consumer?s behavior, which is the core value of this paper.

The issue of the perspective of survival and production of sufficient amounts and quality of health-safe food in the future is on the top of the contemporary society?s priority list. Limitation of non-renewable and renewable resources (as well as dramatic increase of population in the world and climate changes) additionally makes reaching this goal difficult. The Republic of Serbia (and especially the Province of Vojvodina) is in this sense very significant as a region suitable for this kind of production, not only for domestic needs, but also for placement of these products on the world market. This paper systematically presents different types of marks (geographical indication of origin, standards, certificates, etc.) that might be used for labelling products that have special characteristics. Such product label might influence their better positioning and their sale (the overall valorisation), since products marked by them acquire higher prices.

The rapid development of information and communication technologies (ICTs) has a wide application in numerous activities today. It is necessary to look at the possibilities of implementation and impact of ICT on development of rural tourism. Bearing in mind that rural tourism in Serbia is in the initial stages of development, it is expected that the implementation of ICT could contribute to the increase in tourism, reducing the costs of promotion and business, strengthening the competitiveness of rural tourist destinations, etc. The paper examines the character and dynamics of the current development of rural tourism in Serbia and Europe. Previous experiences in the application of ICT in tourism have been analyzed. Examination of the impact of ICT on the competitiveness of Serbia as a tourist destination by correlation analysis has been carried out. The necessity of forming a unique database of accommodation facilities of rural tourism and the importance of linking them to some of the global distribution systems (GDS) have been pointed out. It is expected that the application of ICT in rural tourist business will increase farmers? turnover and their income. Furthermore, it can contribute to better promotion of rural tourist destinations and enable better monitoring of the character, dynamics and intensity of development of rural tourism. Given the positive impact of ICT on the business results, it is expected that the competitiveness of Serbia as a tourist destination will increase.

Using critical and analytical method, this article explores the status and challenges of the fundamental values in the single European approach to media policy. The aim of the research is to discuss the functionality of defined values: freedom of expression, media pluralism and public interest 30 years after the adoption of the first common regulations in a media field. In the first part of the paper the European values are perceived as (1) conceptual heritage and (2) postulated norms of public policy. The second part of the research focuses on the problems of implementing defined values in (1) commercial media and (2) public media service sector. We conclude that normative values that have been rooted in the contemporary European media policy lose their authority facing the challenges of economic and political interests. Two main causes of this process are: institutional deficit of European media policy and divergent goals of its actors, at European institutions as well as in national arenas.

One of the most cited pieces of Banat?s native history is certainly the Torontal County monograph by Dr. Borovszky Samu, published in Budapest in 1912 in Hungarian, which is one of the comprehensive analyzes of the history of Banat settlements, and also one of the first summary reviews of the ethnography of the peoples of this region, including Romanians. When collecting ethnographic material in the field, Borovski compiled detailed ethnographic questionnaires with 44 important questions, and sent them to the settlements in Banat, to the local notaries, to make sure that they complied, and to return the completed ones for analytical processing. The result of the collection of these data was surprisingly richer than expected, and in the ethnographic part of the monograph he edited, he managed to process it only briefly, so to speak, in the notes. Thus, his legacy includes a detailed collection of ethno-material, which was largely unprocessed in detail, and is now preserved in the Ethnographic Museum in Budapest. From this collection of completed ethnographic questionnaires, we have researched those relating to the wedding customs of Romanians in Uzdin and Seleu?, collected in 1911, which are part of the first systematic ethnographic processing of Romanians in Banat. The purpose of this work was to draw the attention of the expert public, especially the ethnographer, to this important, but largely unknown, ethnographic material.

The purpose of this paper is the analysis of the two most influential global policy initiatives in education reform - the OECD?s comparative study of students? educational achievements after compulsory education - PISA, and the Bologna process or the creation of a single European Higher Education Area. Although they relate to different levels of the education system, they have been initiated with the same aim of making education more effective in the context of the so-called knowledge societies. Apart from having appeared in about the same timeframe (the first cycle of the PISA survey was conducted in 2000 and the Bologna Declaration was adopted in 1999), both policy initiatives consider education in the context of the imperatives of economic rationality, competitiveness, and freedom to choose individual participants according to personal preferences. Undoubtedly, the OECD and the Bologna Process have altered the purpose and structure of education systems around the world in a relatively short time in accordance with the dominant neoliberal values and the perception of a man as homo economicus. The results of the initiated reforms are linked to the ?economization? of education policy and the ?pedagogisation? of economic policy, given the increased importance of the role of skills and the human capital agenda. Their key pedagogical implications can be described as reducing education to developing human capital and instrumentalizing education for non-pedagogical purposes.
