The article considers the national and cultural specifics of evaluative and quality assessment nominations in the Yakut linguoculture. The results of a free associative experiment highlight the systemic nature of images in a person's linguistic consciousness, as well as the national characteristics of words in the Yakut culture. The experiment materials representing a fragment of a person's verbal memory reveal the systemic nature of associative and semantic connections based on syntagmatic and paradigmatic relationships. It is necessary to associations that have special semantics, including a wide cultural and historical background. Extensive associative and semantic links develop both stable traditions and the peculiarities of mindset: devotion to the origins revealing the deep meaning of each word. Evaluative nominations as part of the language can become the key to understanding a person and their values-based worldview.

El artículo aborda el problema del desarrollo de la competencia comunicativa en el proceso de aprendizaje del idioma español, tomando como ejemplo el uso del material musical. Con el fin de evaluar el uso del componente musical como herramienta para el desarrollo de la competencia comunicativa de los estudiantes de español en el Instituto Moscovita de Aviaciòn (IMA) (Universidad Nacional de Investigación), se realizó una encuesta a 110 estudiantes del Instituto de Lenguas Extranjeras del IMA. Los datos obtenidos durante la encuesta indican que la mayoría de los estudiantes nota el impacto positivo del uso del material musical en las clases de español el que, en primer lugar, acelera su asimilación. Sobre la base de la experiencia pedagógica, los autores presentan la experiencia del uso de canciones en español, y también describen opciones de tareas sobre el material musical que contribuyen al desarrollo de la competencia comunicativa de los estudiantes.

The article is devoted to the study of the specifics of the semantics of linguistic units at different levels of the language system, in which there are connotative semes that carry information about the culture of the people. It is established that by studying these schemes, we gain access not only to knowledge about the culture of the people, but also to the system of its values. It is stated that in the semantics of stable expressions of the English language - idioms, information about the cultural values of the British people is stored, analyzing which, we form a cultural background and understand more deeply how the British evaluate certain objects, events or phenomena of the real world that make up the linguistic picture of the British world.

The study aims to determine the degrees of correspondence between the differential features of nouns in the instrumental case without a preposition, which manifest the peripheral stage of the original part of speech on the scale of adverbialization on the one hand, and the differential features of nuclear nouns and the differential features of nuclear substantive adverbs on the other. The authors used the methodology of oppositional analysis and indexation. As a result, the main stages of the functional transposition of non-positional forms of nouns into the semantic-grammatical category of temporal adverbs are revealed; the share of features of nuclear nouns and nuclear subjunctive adverbs in the structure of peripheral nouns such as “zimoi” is established. The results of the study can be used in further development of the problems of interaction between the semantic and grammatical in the structure of language units.

Este artigo tem como objetivo discutir o trabalho com o gênero oral no ensino de Língua Estrangeira (LE), em comparação com o ensino de Língua Materna (LM), através da leitura e revisão dos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais (1998a) e artigos relacionados (BOTLER; SUASSUNA, 2015; ALVEZ, S.d.). Essa proposição foi feita em razão da explícita defasagem do ensino de língua inglesa dentro das escolas regulares, em especial, pelo fato da ausência de atividades focadas na compreensão oral e exercício da língua falada. Em decorrência desses fatores, juntamente com a discussão teórica, realizamos uma proposta de planejamento de aula tendo como base o gênero storytelling, compreendendo as vantagens da abordagem de histórias orais dentro da educação de idioma estrangeiro.

The problem of individual author's Stylistics, its place in the system of already functioning verbal means and its role in realizing the unique pragmatic potential of a literary work and the author as a whole have become the basis for numerous studies in the field of linguostylistics, which indicates the relevance of this work. The purpose of the article is to study the linguistic and translation aspects of the author's idiostyle. Methods. The paper used scientific methods: generalization, systematization and classification of methodological sources and scientific approaches to the study of the concept of “idiostyle” in the system of linguistic analysis of literary texts in scientific works of Ukrainian and foreign researchers. Results. The semantic difference between the studied comparisons and metaphors revealed some semantic value of these tropes and their functions in establishing genre features of Stephen King's idiostyle. Conclusion. Structural differentiation of comparisons and metaphors allowed us to analyze the frequency of their use in the author's works. The most common type is a group of binomial nominative comparisons, while other groups have approximately the same number of examples. Among metaphors, the most widely used type is a simple metaphor with a single image. The analysis of the translation aspect of S. King's works shows that each author uses his own approaches in translating lexical and stylistic means aimed at implementing a strategy to create a certain atmosphere. But it should be noted that the most effective is the use of lexical and stylistic means close to the original, while omission, transliteration and often contextual substitution in translation reduce the effectiveness of creating certain emotions in the reader. The basis for further research is to determine approaches to the study of the author's idiostyle in the dramatic genre.

It is argued that the screen narrative is the most effective means of representing dreaming, the temptation of voyeurism. A gradual historical movement of a screen narration from literary work with plots related to dreaming and to oneiric as the poetics of a future film is noted in the paper. The feature drama of the French director François Ozon "In the House" (2012) is analyzed. The postmodern characteristics of poetics and semiotics of the film are considered. A model "the narrator and the listener" is proposed as a semiotic interpretation of the film.

This article describes the experience of using the project method in foreign language classes at the medical university. Using the example of the implementation of the project "Medical Education and Healthcare Abroad", the development of intercultural competence and its role in teaching a foreign language are examined. The features of the development of intercultural competence at the non-linguistic university are noted. The participation of an expert (teacher of the Department of Public Health and Healthcare) gives this project an interdisciplinary character, and also increases students’ motivation. This project allows to work on four aspects described in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR): listening, reading, writing and speaking. The use of self-assessment and peer assessment helps to develop critical thinking and allows students to improve their own projects. This project can be implemented in groups where students master a foreign language at different levels.

This paper is aimed at providing theoretical grounding of “Foreign language” status as an academic discipline in the range of other subjects studied at a non-linguistic university. Research shows that high requirements are set to supplementary subjects, such as accompaniment and foreign language which have their individual status as well as semantic and dynamic characteristic features. Beneficial interaction of the soloist and accompanist plays a mutually enriching role giving an insight into the piece of music both for the musician and the audience. The humanitarian component introduced into the educational process through language studies complements and enriches the whole process and provides it with semantic fullness. Analysis of the dialectical parallels (principal subject – supplementary subject, principal voice – accompaniment) proved that each of their components has its own status.

The article examines a cognitive script of the transmission of reliable information on the example of German modal words (MW). To achieve the goal of the study, a cognitive method was used, the main postulate of which is considered to be the active interaction of the structure of consciousness (mental representations) and the structure of the language. It is primarily about the representation of mental processes and their results in the language. The emergence of the cognitive method is associated with the attention of linguists, first of all, to the person himself or herself and his or her consciousness. With regard to the concept of reliability, we should note our understanding of reliability as an indication of the qualification of information as corresponding to reality, which does not cause doubts among members of a certain community.
