The article proposes a cognitive revision of sentence invariants with respect to the explication of main parts. Confusing `composition' and `structure' and bringing a morphological nomenclature of word classes to nominate invariants is a methodological problem. Extrapolation of terms from level to level adds contradiction to the categories and is a problem in the learning and acquisition of the language and its grammar. A cognitively correct sentence on this basis is one-component, subject or predicate, subject or predicate, but not one-component, because they are parts of the structure, not of the composition. The predicate sentence is always personal, but when it is expressed by a verb with a form in the third person only, i.e. in principle, there is no first and second position of the paradigm of this morphological category, it is subjectless.

Research work, presented in this article, aims to create IT tools for the study and research of handwriting, transcription and writing in general. It provides tools for structuring, processing, managing, visualizing and analyzing this data, which greatly facilitates research and study processes. An online accessible digital repertorium (web-based software environment) has been developed, storing information about valuable manuscripts and copyists with significant contributions to the development of South Slavic languages, writing and culture. Each written resource is digitized and described according to a descriptive model based on the metadata available for it. Once entered into the digital repertorium, it can be discovered through a variety of context-based search and intelligent curation services. Tools are provided for detailed study and analysis of each letter and its element, detection of similarities between pairs of manuscripts - spelling of letters and their elements, tools to support the joint simultaneous work of researchers in the system and management of the process of description and structuring of data. The goal of the development is to reach and effectively use the vast amount of knowledge about the digitized written heritage by providing tools for higher adaptability and effective interaction between the researcher and the digital repertorium.

The article examines the globalization of the 21st century, which is driven by the postmodernist processes of decanonization that create a hybrid cultural environment in the present. The main focus of the text is the film-literature relationship, which is both synergistic and competitive in the market of cultural products. The article presents key postmodern novels from the 80s and 90s of the last century and their film adaptations, which even in the 21st century reproduce with the techniques of cinema a common, archetypal, futuristic, fictional model. Cinema and literature in the third millennium are subordinated to corporate interests and media giants, and the rhizomatic interface between the arts argues for the ubiquitous hybridization of culture. In conclusion, the dialogical modes between world literature, world cinema, and world media are highlighted.

Listening comprehension and reading comprehension play an essential role in foreign language acquisition, but learners differ on a number of indicators related to this aspect. The aim of this paper is to examine different options for the effective use of the LearningApps online platform in differentiated instruction in a foreign language classroom when the focus is on developing listening comprehension or reading comprehension skills, since a differentiated approach implies greater learner emotional engagement, greater motivation to learn, and better learning performance compared to a non-differentiated one. In order to achieve this goal, the views of scholars in the fields of psychology, pedagogy and language teaching methodology are taken into account. Based on the analysis, a number of requirements are derived for the teacher in using LearningApps to develop learners' skills on the speech activities under consideration.

The article deals with the role of the contemporary Bulgarian linguist in the complex processes of codification of literary-linguistic norms. The text is linked to the 75th anniversary of the eminent Bulgarian linguist Prof. Vladko Murdarov. The object of the analytical observations in the text are problems related to the codification of literary-language norms, to the curricula and textbooks on Bulgarian language in secondary school; to the notion of language policy, as well as to the issues of the public image of the Bulgarian language in the media space. A brief overview is given of important historical processes that have shaped the development of the Bulgarian language and its science. The author summarizes the important features that every contemporary linguist should possess - depth of linguistic knowledge in synchronous and diachronic terms, a sense of the dynamics of linguistic processes in order to be able to objectively reflect the complex processes of language development, linking them to the complex and dynamic processes of social development.
