It highlights the interdisciplinary perspective between Information Science and Health Sciences. It discusses the relevance of knowledge about the ways of HIV / AIDS transmission and prevention strategies in the Brazilian response to this epidemic. It aims to measure the level of knowledge about the virus transmission routes and Combined Prevention strategies, by spatial distribution in the Federal District - DF. It is a cross-sectional, descriptive, applied research, with a quantitative-qualitative approach, whose method uses the survey. The results indicate a higher proportion of moderate and high knowledge about the forms of transmission. There is little knowledge about biomedical interventions based on the use of antiretrovirals on pre- and post-exposure prophylaxis. After assessing the sociodemographic characteristics and the categories of knowledge, it is found that the age group, education level and internet access have a statistically significant association. The spatial distribution among participants with a moderate level of knowledge is homogeneous, while for those with high and low knowledge, the distribution in the territory is heterogeneous. It is concluded that there are gaps in knowledge about the forms of transmission and strategies for Combined Prevention. Adequate level of knowledge is a structuring component for coping with HIV / AIDS.

Abstract ”“Digital media, especially social networks, have transformed society and the way of relating. This research aimed to identify the knowledge of high school students about internet security. As a methodology for data collection, an electronic questionnaire with 85 questions was used. The 217 research participants are high school students from a private school in the interior of Sao Paulo (Brazil). As a result, it appears that 98% of students use some social networking and the home and school are the places where they use the internet; 71% of students said they had already received images of naked people or having sex; images were accessed mainly through social networking; The subject more searched was "ways to get thin"; 71% of students consider they know more about the internet than their parents. The main conclusion is that given the finding that adolescents have adopted risky behaviors in the use of social networking and have not received proper guidance in this regard, the school has a key role in preparing students to deal safely with the informational universe to which they have daily access, but the school also needs to prepare itself to be able to exercise this role properly.

We present the results of a research whose aim is to evaluate the level of comprehensibility of online texts through a survey on the reading experience. The comprehensibility of the information represents a new aspect of information behavior, conditioned by subjective components and characteristics of the reading experience of those who read. We study the effect of the interactivity of the digital text by comparing the reading experience of two texts, both on the subject of physical exercise and differentiated by the level of interactivity, being higher in one case. Thirty-nine people participated in the survey and data were collected on the reading experience, the understanding of the text and its influence on attitudes and opinions, as well as on the global assessment of the two pages. Comprehension of the text was measured based on 14 true and false questions. The data obtained were analyzed through descriptive statistics and, where appropriate, inferential statistics tests were carried out. The only significant difference that was found between the two pages concerns a better comprehensibility of the more interactive page, although the comprehensibility is not related to a greater use of the interactive functionalities in the two pages. Finally, the results show that the consumption of digital text is conditioned by the expectations that readers bring to it and that interactivity is not only a property of the medium but also co-constructed in the interaction between the medium and the readers.

This paper presents an overview of the 20 years of research on Information Literacy, through the analysis of the themes addressed in the research developed in the Graduate Programs in Information Science in Brazil. The scope of the research consisted of identifying the thematic perspectives and the transversality of Information Literacy in the Brazilian scientific production of the last 20 years, considering as reference the first research published in the year 2000. For the selection of the theses and dissertations, the Catalog was used of Theses and Dissertations from the Coordenacao de Aperfeicoamento de Pessoal de Nivel Superior (CAPES), delimiting the period referring to the years 2000-2019. The research is of an exploratory-type quali-quantitative nature. To compile and analyze the results, the content analysis technique was used, in which the indicators proposed by Belluzzo (2017) were used as a category for analyzing the content of each research. The results show that most publications are focused on the Master's theme. An increase in scientific production on the subject was observed from the year 2011, with a peak in the year 2016. The five Higher Education Institutions that gather the most public works on CoInfo are the University of Brasilia, the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Sao Paulo State University - Marilia, Federal University of Bahia and Federal University of Santa Catarina. Scientific production on the subject is still very much centered in the Information Science area and with a large flow of productions in the south-central region of Brazil. We highlight that the professors / researchers who provided the most guidance on the topic have between 08 and 11 oriented works. With regard to the themes, the transversality of the themes stands out, especially with the area of Education.

This work aims to map the documents from the period of the Iberian Union, which comprises from 1580 to 1640, specifically in the Spanish domain, in the city of Joao Pessoa, in the State of Paraiba (Brazil). The study is part of a larger project promoted by the Brazilian embassy in Spain, entitled “The history of Brazil in Documents conserved in Spain, identification and dissemination”, linked to the Complutense University of Madrid (Spain), the University of Brasilia and the University Federal of Paraiba. The methodological framework was based on exploratory research, and the Historical and Geographical Institute of Paraiba (IHGP) and the Ecclesiastical Archive of the Archdiocese of Paraiba, both in the city of Joao Pessoa, were used as a research field. In this way, it is intended to search for traces, to verify links and connections, in permanent documents, of the presence of the Spanish domain, which are striking in the city of Joao Pessoa, founded in Colonial Brazil in the 16th century.

This paper deals with the bindings made by various bookbinders to the Spanish Royal Academy. Archival documentation such as delivery notes, invoices, minutes of meetings are examined, as well as prices, types of work and number of copies. A search for the bindings is then carried out in the library itself, thus closing the complete study of each binding, analyzing the materials used, construction techniques, decoration (decorative structure, ornamentation techniques and utensils used) and the state of conservation of each copy. In this way we will observe the contractual relationship of each bookbinder with the Academy, the periods of attachment, types of work, thus learning to improve the history of the Academy itself, of Madrid's bookbinders and of Spanish bookbinding.

To go with a society increasingly immersed in a virtual world, libraries face the need to innovate by seeking projects that attract the community to their spaces. The aim of this paper is to present a possible dialogue between the concepts of mediation and innovation, based on the practical example of working with the Booktube community. For this purpose, an exploratory descriptive study of bibliographic and documentary nature is carried out. As results, the practical experience of libraries shows that the use of informal language by the Booktube community and the interactivity of the YouTube platform contributes to actions to encourage reading; It has been found that user development as a reader is influenced by the type of Booktuber activity developed and the way its mediation is conducted; as well as the possibility of expanding the borders by connecting people from different localities who share the same literary interest. All these elements can direct action strategies in a library that seeks innovative action in the face of current media. It is concluded that the purpose of this community in libraries can and should go beyond the dissemination of reviews and promotion of new titles, serving as a basis for the construction of mediation strategies that contribute in a practical way to libraries of different segments.

It presents reflections on the informational behavior and the relationship with the development of information literacy for people in the street situation, in the context of social vulnerability. Investigations and actions carried out by researchers and professionals in libraries have been investigated to meet the information needs of people who are in a street situation. For this, a bibliographic survey was carried out on national and international bases from 1980 to 2018. Only five papers were found, but focused on public health that do not cover informational issues per se or focus on the work of community libraries or reading practices, but without turning specifically to the street population. It is concluded that there is a lack of studies on the populations in the street situation in the informational context, mainly in relation to behavioral actions and information competence. They are issues that must be deepened in the scope of Information Science because they involve the access and use of information for the construction of knowledge, identity and autonomy in order to allow the effective social inclusion of street people, guaranteeing the exercise of citizenship.

Starting from an analysis of the differences between virtual communities and social networks, a critical description is developed of how the Internet has evolved in the last 20 years towards a situation marked by the end of dialogue and the obsessive promotion of visions centered on egocentric interests. The historical singularity from which this situation was triggered is identified in Google's decision, in the early 2000s, to make advertising the focus of its business strategy and how it transformed, with the help of others Technology Giants (TG), users in user-products and then agents of their own marketing, with the use of their egomation. The paper investigates the role played by civil society specialized in global information society issues, where it has presented little resistance to the changes that have arisen along the way. In addition to representing a divorce with the shared initial utopias, this evolution is a threat with important repercussions in the non-virtual world, including the weakening of the democratic foundations of our societies. After showing some dystopian perspectives, some concrete guidelines are proposed to change course, highlighting the most important measure: that of declaring a digital emergency that contemplates massive education programs to insert citizens in the ethical challenges, the potentialities and risks of the global knowledge society and especially in what information literacy means.

Software developers use information and knowledge to create, alter and correct programming source code. The collective ways of dealing with information, informational culture, are embedded in organizational culture. Although organizational culture is unique to each company, it is influenced by shared perspectives on a profession and a niche market, the professional culture. Informational practices deal with the interconnection of subjective and collective factors in the relationship of subjects with information and knowledge. This paper aims to analyze the informational practices of software developers at the intersection of professional, organizational and informational cultures, distinguishing the informational values of each company and those pertaining to the professional culture. It also aims to identify the appropriate values for the effectiveness of the work and problems in this regard. As methodological procedures, it is employed a multiple cases study through interviews with managers and programmers of two companies. For data analysis and interpretation, categorical content analysis and Paul Ricoeur's hermeneutic phenomenology are used, elucidating underlying collective aspects in individual discourse. As a result, the cultural elements in common among organizations emphasize the informal socialization of information and knowledge, and it is difficult to register them in software documentation, the primacy of Internet as information source, among other aspects. Managers are advised to make employees aware of the importance of information recording, the use of reliable sources, and to establish policies to encourage personal interaction for information sharing.
