The thematic of this study concerns the participation of the librarian in the publishing of electronic scientific journals. It is based on the discourse that this professional has knowledge and skills that allow him to work in market segments of the most varied, although in Brazilian reality, the work of librarianship is still limited to libraries and documentation centers. It aims to demonstrate the contributions of the librarian in the publishing of electronic scientific journals, in order to awaken entrepreneurial actions. In addition, it presents the structure, composition and editorial flow of an electronic scientific journal of the field of Education and reports the librarian practices carried out by a librarian with the editorial team of this journal. Therefore, the study is characterized as described and exploratory and adopts as a methodological procedure, bibliographical, documentary and participant-action research, with a qualitative approach. The results indicated that, following the insertion of the librarian in the editorial team, the activities developed allowed the expansion of the editorial flow, in which textual revision, normalization and diagramming activities were carried out, thus making possible improvements in the presentation and use of published works , acting the professional in a technical, dialogic and pedagogical way. Further studies on the subject are suggested in order to identify, strengthen and / or disseminate the participatory actions of the librarian in the process of publishing electronic journals.

The editorial analyzes the role of Aaron Swartz, an activist and technological innovator, by downloading millions of journal articles from the JSTOR database. JSTOR withdrew the complaint against Swartz after he returned the digital archives of the articles. However, the process did not stop there, as the judiciary decided that the accused should still be held responsible for his actions in court. It is possible that this trial led to the suicide of the 26-year-old. At the present time, during the terrible covid-19 pandemic, rapid and universal access to scientific information is hindered by current copyright legislation. To beat the coronavirus, it is vital that more research and data are made available to the public. It can be said that, after the covid-19, nothing will be the same as before. Scientific communication will also undergo reforms and, gradually, the young activist will be considered a hero of open access! In addition, the articles published in the second issue of 2020 of the Ibero-American Journal of Information Science are commented.

The work presents the conception of the professional education teacher about the inclusion of the person with disabilities in the technical vocational education of Sao Paulo with the use of assistive technology. This type of education enables the inclusion of the disabled in the labor market, promoting the eighth sustainable development objective of the UN Agenda 2030. The objective is to investigate the perception of teachers, the characterization of the inclusion of people with disabilities and the use of assistive technology, contributing to sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full, productive employment and decent work for all in accordance with the 2030 Agenda. The approach used is characterized as exploratory and bibliographic research, as well as the use of questionnaires as a method. As a result, partial knowledge about assistive technology was obtained, as well as a lack of adequate knowledge of the term inclusion. Based on concepts of inclusion, classification and use of assistive technologies in education, it is concluded that there is a precariousness of training and adequate information.

This paper presents a proposal that seeks to integrate the areas of librarianship, information technology and innovation to bring forth a reflection on the great potential for innovation existing in universities. It envisions an approach on the dissemination of information as an educational tool so that the process of academic training can provide a better use of technologies and actions and bring them closer to teaching, research and extension practices, with regard to establishing and creating opportunities for students to build strategic connections between academic practices with the labor market. It is a qualitative study with a hypothetical-deductive approach, based on the general premise of the role and function of a public, university library. Bibliographic and document analyses were used as means of investigation for this work. This research is characterized as descriptive since it is intended to describe and analyze the determining factors for the dissemination of information on innovation and technology in the academic environment. Through a reference service focused on innovation processes and by means of a mobile application, it seeks to build skills for competence in information regarding how patent applications, trademark registrations, copyright applications and software registrations are carried out and demonstrate the relevance of the participation and collaboration of university libraries in institutional development plans. We aim to highlight the importance of developing new educational practices that provide a process of gaining experience, which brings academic research closer to reality even before a student has graduated and helps them to understand the different forms of innovation that may exist in the desired professional field.

Presents an analysis about the application of the case study methodology in dissertations of the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations, with the objective of discovering how the "Case Studies" are being used in the methodologies of the dissertations in the field of " Information". We used the search for dissertations, from the year 2017, on Information Science, to identify which ones used the case study in its methodology and how these case studies were used. The "Dissertations" clipping was necessary due to the limited time in view of the extensive universe of works that use the "Case Study" methodology. Among the 26 papers returned, after reading the abstracts, it was verified that 23 were directed to the methodology of the case study, and that they were also directed to some area of information science research. Then the selected papers were read and analyzed according to the Yin parameters.

Qualitative data analysis has aroused the interest from researchers, especially in social sciences. At the same time, the volume of this data has grown so much that it has favored the emergence of tools to assist in its processing. Among them we have NVivo software, which is accepted by researchers. This article aims to analyze the contribution of NVivo software in the evaluation of a discipline with its content in a Virtual Learning Environment. For such purpose, we used the materials and discussions available in the discipline Qualitative Methods Research of Information and Knowledge, from a post graduate program in a public university in the South of Brazil. The discussion forums were organized into archives, which constituted the research analysis corpus, totaling 21 archives. We have read and categorized them according to categories and units proposed by Bardin. The use of NVivo facilitated the coding task, as well as the creation of graphs and matrices that contributed to the interpretation of the following results: a) predominance in discussions of themes related to data collection, with emphasis on interviewing techniques, narrative and focus group; b) there are different types of contributions and interactions among students; c) students have done a complete approach in the production of the texts for the forums; d) a greater availability of materials does not mean a greater contribution to the discussions of the themes. Based on the results, it is possible to affirm that the use of the software to perform the content analysis of the texts produced by the students can contribute to the evaluation of the discipline, so that adjustments can be made for planning the next offer, as well as contributing to the evaluation process of the students.

The present study approaches the Information Literacy in a critical theoretical perspective, aiming at the emancipatory development of the subjects, through the knowledge of the agencies and machinations that operate for the maintenance of a structure of exploration and domination through instrumentalization of the Reason in the relation Individual and Information. Proposing the information literacy as praxis and the cartographic method as a possibility for the construction of a critical approach. The objective was to understand the cartographic method as an option for the critical development of Information Literacy, oriented towards mediation and relational and ideological interactions that are operated through information. The research is characterized as bibliographic, with a literature review about information literacy and cartography; it was also sought to carry out a bibliographic survey through the Institutional Repository of the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology, finding a gap in academic productions in Information Science in this scope. It is considered that this method allows a propositional view of reality and attentive to its constructive processes, through an associative and transversal way, which allows the Information Literacy to put itself in other terms in the problem of emancipation in XIX century´s society through informational.

It Considers that memory is responsible for the remembrance and knowledge which helps on the construction of the society culture. It Highlights the story telling and the viola singing as manifestations which take advantage of memory to keep themselves alive and to dissociate the (local) culture as a propagation of the own practice of transmitted information through its performance (verses and stories). It questions what approximate these cultural practices, how they are identify and construct themselves in the local conjecture. It aims at elucidating the dialogue produced and expressed from the relations between tradition and orality being the memory the demarcation of the continuity of generations, a way of reaffirming the cultural values of Cariri from Ceara and the contribution of this memory in the construction of individual and collective stories. It analyzes the literature on the topic, considering that both the story telling as the viola singing congregate, in relation to their actors and their oeuvre, a repository of memories of their generation, their people, becoming elements of representation and society connection and its social, economic, political and cultural facets.

The production of scientific knowledge gives interaction between researchers, aiming at the socialization of information, to assist the development of science and technology and to help social development. At the university level, the production of scientific knowledge takes place in several variations. This article deals with relations with the project rights of the Institutional Program of Scientific Initiation Scholarships of the Universidade Federal do Ceara. These positions encourage us to develop research that addresses the following starting questions: Research projects linked to the Institutional Program of Scientific Initiation Scholarships of the Universidade Federal do Ceara have interactions among themselves and allow social relations to be used among communities, including the formation of a scientific knowledge network? Hypothesis: The projects of the Institutional Program of Scientific Initiation Scholarships can generate strategic knowledge that benefits the institution's scientific and technological production through their interactions, to meet the demands of the research. Basic objective: to identify the presence of scientific knowledge networks of the Universidade Federal do Ceara, through the mapping of projects presented as thematic interactions between communities. This is a theoretical-conceptual and methodological research in a descriptive-exploratory research, with quantitative approach, the documentary type for working with scientific projects. The results indicate that the relationship between approaches in scientific projects shows the various possibilities of relationship dynamics between scientific communities. It is concluded that an analysis of the characteristics and intrinsic relationships in the collaborative network can serve as subsidies for communication between researchers who work with related themes, as well as new possibilities for strengthened relationships, such as scientific production and knowledge construction using a scientific information management that includes the relationships between research and its benefits, regardless of the area of concentration.

This article presents the pedagogical experience of Cremilda Medina, journalist, researcher and senior full professor at the University of Sao Paulo (USP).
