Abstract: Considering the importance of understanding the Museum of Sexual Diversity of the city of Sao Paulo as a complex information ecology, and provided that it is composed of its analog and digital information environments, this paper aims to evaluate the museum based on the attributes of findability and pervasive information architecture using a checklist and a participatory observation. In general, the Museum of Sexual Diversity presents, in its great majority, a partiality regarding the attributes of findability of information. Because it is a complex information ecology, it presents a diversity of factors involved. We noticed that the major problems that we found relate to the topics of information discovery and the mediation of information subjects; and the lack of elements of accessibility on the website which would make it possible to expand the access to information for people with disabilities. Through this study it was possible to enhance the dissemination of ideas related to the information subjects in the process of production and organization of information, making the digital informational environment more collaborative and interactive.

The library environment is adapting according to the new technologies, so that the practices allow the user to contemplate the library beyond the standardized place, which offers the environment, shelves, book lending, quietude and reading, realizing it as a modern and transformative environment. However, it is known that many libraries are used improperly, under the vision of an outdated concept. Therefore, the present study seeks to know the factors for the self-evaluation of the innovation culture in the library. It is a qualitative study, characterized as exploratory and descriptive. A research was carried out to elaborate a proposal of elements that can serve to strengthen habits that contribute to innovation. As a result, a checklist was developed with the assistance of professionals in the field, which served as a data collection tool, allowing managers to assess the potential of incentives to strengthen the innovation culture in the libraries where they operate. Keywords: innovation; library; organizational culture.

It deals with the thematic characterization of the votes cast by the federal deputies during the voting session in the Chamber of Deputies that accepted the opening of the impeachment process of the President Dilma Rousseff. Given the criticisms made by the media about the content of the votes, for presenting a fragile and egocentric structure, investigating the informational items cited during the vote is a way of understanding the themes that supported and motivated each vote. The mains objective was to identify, from the speeches given, the informational context and thus determine the thematic key items of each vote cast. Having as empirical object of study the individual transcription of each speech given by the parliamentarians and from the principles of similarity, differences and synonymy relationship, five macro categories were created to group the identified key items. Were identified 1,348 key items cited by parliamentarians as speech identifiers. Dividing this number by the total number of voters, 504 deputies, yields an average of almost 3 specific key items per vote. The data collected demonstrate that in parliamentary rhetoric during the casting of votes, the most recurring characterizing key item in the votes, whether for or against, was “Brazilian people”.

The development of universities and research agencies was important to leverage Brazilian science. From this, the study sought to understand the process of funding research with scientific and technological production belonging to the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in the period from 2008 to 2018 and indexed in the Web of Science and PatentScope databases. It is a descriptive research that uses scientometry as a method. The data were collected in August 2019 and unified in a database in Excel, software used in the analysis and creation of tables and graphs. It was found that the University has 16,700 records with indications of funding indexed in the Web of Science, and 381 patent records in the PatentScope. Both productions show signs of growth, where UFRGS 'scientific production is mostly financed by public funding institutions. The patent deposits made by the University took place with educational and research institutions, but also with companies. Verifying the relationship between financing and technological production, the research showed, from the authorship, that the technological production of the University, also, is carried out receiving some type of promotion.

Archival theory too often is trivial, overwrought, unnecessary, or irrelevant. While theory in other disciplines can produce new insights and stimulate intellectual progress, theory in archives cannot play an analogous role and cannot advance the archival profession. It tends to oversimplify that which is complicated and to overcomplicate that which is simple. Much archival theory is public relations Babbitry that threatens to over- stratify the profession.

The aim of this study is to identify the patterns and trends in the international scientific structure on hate speech. It revealed the network of scientific collaboration, the structure of co-citations, the areas of knowledge linked to the topic, and the subjects that define the trends in the domain. We retrieved 441 articles that include the expression "hate speech" in the title, abstract or keywords field from the Web of Science Core Collection for the period 2009-2018. The collaboration and co-citation networks were modeled using Bibexcel version 2017 and Pajek for the analysis and visualization. Latent Dirichlet Allocation was used as a natural language processing technique for the title, abstract and keywords fields. The results show a significant increase in publications since 2013 and a peak in 2018. The Social Network Analysis showed that despite the incipient presence of hate speech in the scientific literature, there is a prominent theoretical core of publications on the topic which is frequently cited by the international scientific community. There is also a core of works that is recognized as highly relevant in the theoretical, conceptual and methodological approaches to the study of hate speech.

The research aimed to analyse the practices used in Brazilian university libraries, identifying the elements used in the construction of the call number, looking for similarities in their choices and ways of using them, as well as adherence with the literature in the area. This is a qualitative descriptive research combined with quantitative, using a questionnaire to collect data, via email, through Google forms. The accidental non-probabilistic sample was used, that is, the 26 libraries that answered the questionnaire were considered, which corresponds to 38,24% of the total of 68 Brazilian federal universities. The responses obtained showed that the composition of the call number is diverse, with reduced convergence in terms of similarities in the practices adopted, as well as some compatibility with the specialized literature in the area, which indicates the need for further studies.
