Many people had to stay at home with their families during the pandemic because of social distancing guidelines and lockdowns. This study aims to explore the content of 'sharenting' of parents during the early COVID-19 pandemic and quarantine periods in Turkey. In total, 401 posts were collected from public Instagram accounts of parents who shared their own children's photos or videos between 18th30th April 2020, via the most commonly used hashtags of #korona (#corona) and #evdekal (# stayhome). Descriptive content analysis was conducted within identified categories. Results revealed that the popular hashtag #stayathome is particularly important for its optimistic representation of the lockdown process in society. Content analysis results show that with the inclusion of social media shares, family members spent more time together, which can be seen as one of the positive consequences of this period. In the results of continued sharenting during the early pandemic, children's faces were mainly kept visible, which might concern children's privacy. Additionally, mothers shared more during this period. Consequently, education to increase awareness of such concepts gains importance, especially for the well-being and privacy of children and any future implications.

This research aimed to determine and develop 8 grade students’ views on the demarcation between science and pseudoscience. In this context, the study was designed with convergent parallel design which is a mixed research method. The study group for the quantitative dimension was composed of 32 8th graders in a secondary school in Akdeniz district of Mersin province. The study group for the qualitative dimension consisted of six students selected from among these 32 students by purposeful sampling method. As data collection tools, Pseudoscience Belief Scale which consisted of 21 questions and a semistructured interview form composed of nine questions were used. During the data analysis, statistical calculations were done by using the SPSS package program for the quantitative dimension. Content analysis method was used to categorize qualitative as codes and themes. Based on the study results, it was observed that the pseudoscientific beliefs were not based on gender and it was found that students’ pseudoscientific beliefs decreased with the implementation in which the argumentation method was

This study aims at tracing the effects of emergency remote education due to Covid-19 on foreign/second language teaching documented in research papers and reports Employing document analysis, it identifies the research contexts and key findings reported in the studies published between 1 January and 28 October 2020 The findings indicate that a significant number of publications consist of reports presented by practitioners, i e schools, governmental authorities and educational foundations, and that the tertiary level is the most frequently covered context in the papers The analysed publications report slightly more Emergency Remote Teaching (ERT)-driven affordances for teachers than constraints and suggest that both teachers and students are able to turn challenges of ERT into affordances when they receive sufficient support from governmental authorities, schools or peers and benefit from already acquired digital skills and technical infrastructure available The findings also indicate a gap of research based on classroom data, which would more effectively contribute to an understanding of the challenges and affordances of ERT in language teaching
