The current article draws from Critical Diversity Literacy (CDL) to analyse narrative expressions of a black South African teacher’s experiences of moments of exclusion (troughs) and inclusion (crests) after twenty years of service in two predominantly white independent schools. Data was generated from one South African teacher who was prompted to reflect on crests [inclusive moments that deserve to be embraced and celebrated] and troughs [moments of exclusion that seek to assimilate/ignore diversity] in her teaching journey spanning two decades at two independent schools. Using the interpretivist paradigm, we attempt to understand the teacher’s journey which shows amongst others, that agents of exclusion with tendencies to demand compliance and subsequent assimilation, include other teachers, school leaders, learners as well as some parents. The teacher was however, provided with an opportunity to read the situation and may, depending on her agency, work to circumvent oppressive and exclusionary tendencies. Crests celebrating diversity were noted in her second school. I conclude that diversity remains multi-perspectival and therefore simultaneity should be borne in mind when dealing with inclusion in the teaching fraternity.

The process of rolling cigarettes in CV. SUUD Bondowoso performed by workers by sitting down in varying manners according to the posture of the worker. Work desks, work chairs, and manual cigarettes rolling equipment are provided by the factory in uniform. Although even though they are similar in size, differences in posture can cause workers' seating positions to vary. The process of rolling cigarettes in CV. SUUD Bondowoso uses repetitive processes to meet the factory’s targets. The type of research used in this study is descriptive research. The respondents in the study were 21 workers in the manual cigarettes rolling division of CV. SUUD Bondowoso. The variables examined in this study were age, working period, sitting position, repetitive movements, and upper extremity symptoms for workers workers at manual cigarettes rolling division in CV. SUUD Bondowoso. The results showed that most respondents had posture at level 2. Eight respondents performed repetitive movements at work that fall into the high frequency category on the upper arm, elbow, arm, and wrist. Respondents with low-risk upper extremity symptoms as many as 14 people and respondents with moderate-risk upper extremity symptoms were 7 people. All respondents experienced complaints on the lower neck and right upper arm. Keywords: sitting work posture, repetitive motions, upper extremity symptoms, cigarettes rolling

Some incidence of emergency in Jember District tends to increase every year. The Jember Safety Center (JSC) is an alternative solution to problems carried out by the Jember District in dealing with the high number of emergency cases in Jember District. Based on the results of the preliminary survey, researchers find several aspects, tasks, and functions of the JSC that have problems in its implementation. These problems indicate the need for more in-depth research related to the input and process aspects of the implementation of the JSC in Jember District. This study aims to analyze an integrated emergency response system through the implementation of the Jember Safety Center in Jember District. This type of research is qualitative research with a case study approach. The data analysis technique used the Miles & Huberman analysis model. They are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. This research is taken place at the location of the JSC call center, the Jember District Health Office, the Public Health Center in Jember District, the JSC user home, and the Soebandi Jember Hospital. The results of the study show that the need for human resources in organizing the Public Safety Center is guided by the Minister of Health Regulation Number 19 of 2016. However, the quality of human resources needs to be improved. The current budget given by the government is still focused on the physical budget and JSC equipment. Information and emergency calls from the community are still lacking, this is due to inadequate socialization, and not all services via the village ambulance are recorded through the JSC Call Center. It is necessary to improve the service management of JSC as the center for the Integrated Emergency Management System (SPGDT) in Jember District. Improvements are made by taking into account the input aspects consisting of Men, Money, Materials, Machines, and Methods in the Implementation of the Jember Safety Center in Jember District to improve services JSC to the community in Jember District Keywords: Jember Safety Center, Emergency, AKI and AKB

The development of infant is affected by several factors, particularly providing exclusive breast feeding by the maternal, in which the exclusive breastfeeding contains complete nutrients that is needed by infant. However, the low rate of providing exclusive breast feeding in community may remain a challenge. A good lactation management takes important role in successful rate of exclusive breastfeeding. The lactation management can be defined as a either management or procedure performed by mothers during pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding phase in order to facilitate breastfeeding activity. The lactation management itself is expected to support providing exclusive breastfeeding at least six months, in which the lactation management is necessary for both career-mother and housewife. The objective of this study was to assess the lactation management among housewife during breastfeeding activity. This was descriptive study by using quantitative approach, where the study design is case control. The location of this study is in work area of Primary Health Care of Sumbersari, Jember. This study found that lactation management is essential factor that affects breastfeeding activity among housewife. Keyword: Exclusive Breast Feeding, Lactation Management, Housewife

Improper use of pesticides can cause serious short-term or long-term health problems. The process of pesticides into the body is through the skin, respiration, mouth, and mucous membranes. The use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is an effort to maintain the safety and health of farmers in using pesticides. This study aims to describe the characteristics, knowledge, attitudes and relationships with the use of PPE in Pasirian District, Lumajang Regency. This type of research is a descriptive analysis using a cross-sectional quantitative approach. The sample size used was 100 farmers who were selected with predetermined criteria. Collecting data using a questionnaire. Data analysis used univariate with frequency distribution and bivariate with Spearman rank test. The results showed that most of the farmers (39%) aged 32-43 years, 39% had no primary school education, and 47% had experience as farmers for 5 years. Most of the farmers (50%) have good knowledge about pesticides and 62% have sufficient attitudes regarding the use of pesticides. Knowledge and attitudes related to the use of PPE with low and moderate levels of correlation. Key words: attitude, farmers, knowledge, pesticides
