Independence is the ability to direct and control one's feelings in thinking and acting, being responsible, having self-confidence, and discipline. Being able to control feelings includes the child's self-control and the child's conscience when performing independent behavior. Independence in children is realized if they use their minds in making various decisions, from choosing the learning equipment they want to use, and choosing playmates, to more complicated things. Similar roles and positions through the government and private institutions, one of which is LKSA (child social welfare institution) which was developed as a professional service institution and became the choice to provide child welfare services, that is one way to keep children in good care by accommodating children. The children are in an orphanage, to help improve the welfare of children by educating, caring for, guiding, directing, and providing skills as parents in a family should do to develop children's independence.

In the midst of the very rapid development of information technology, Indonesia is experiencing a multidimensional crisis including a crisis of morality, ethics and tolerance. We find many cases that occur today such as juvenile delinquency, brawls, bullying etc. One reason is the lack of understanding of the cultural diversity that exists in Indonesia. Cultural diversity should be seen as a gift given by God Almighty as a manifestation of the Sunnatullah which is a force to support each other and build unity, not as an excuse for committing acts of discrimination, suspicion, injustice and human rights violations. Educational institutions have an important role in creating a generation that understands the concept of multiculturalism, where students can be given an understanding and accustomed to thinking and acting in accordance with the concept of multiculturalism. The formulation of the problem in this study is how is the implementation of multicultural education in elementary schools presented in the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of multicultural education and an analysis of the literature on the implementation of multicultural education in elementary schools.

A university strategy that is competitive must have the role of being a center for fostering and producing human resources who have skills and professionals with nuances in science and technology and imtaq. The role of Higher Education in domestic science and technology must be able to support development, especially productive sectors which are conducted appropriately, effectively and efficiently. Science and technology development that is oriented towards market demand, highly competitive and far-sighted, will only be realized if it is supported by the creation of new developments and innovations through optimal and planned handling and utilization of science and technology. As for efforts to achieve excellence, it is necessary to reposition and re- actualize education by conducting various policies and educational transformations that are based on four aspects, first. Development of Higher Education's Tri Dharma. Second, HR Quality Improvement. Third, Development of Supporting Facilities and Infrastructure. Fourth. Quality Assurance System.

Madrasah Ibtidaiyah as the main pillar of Islamic education is the most basic these days in facing both internal and external challenges. In addition to the challenge of maintaining self-existence in order to be able to compete with other institutions, there is also the problem of the rise of secular values that are included in the national education curriculum. This needs to be answered so that Madrasah Ibtidaiyah remains upright as a stronghold of religion and the state from the invasion of ideas that endanger the lives of the people and the state. The battle of civilizations will indeed continue throughout the ages. The problem is the opinion of an Islamic leader, namely Imam Ali Bin Abi Talib, good that is not organized or well managed will be defeated by crimes that are committed massively and in a structured manner that are well managed. And this is happening today in our time. Will Madrasah Ibtidaiyah as the last bastion be able to survive the onslaught of the evil thoughts of secularism or will it collapse? This article will answer it.

Islamic boarding schools in the last few decades have given birth to several innovations in improving the quality of human resources that are able to respond to the challenges and needs of the times in terms of social, industrial and technological transformation. Several changes occurred in the pesantren curriculum. Changes in the pesantren curriculum are not limited to religious studies, but are currently in the form of pesantren entrepreneurship and agribusiness curricula. Islamic boarding schools have taught entrepreneurship and expertise in the field of agribusiness to improve the mentality and independence of students. One of them is at the Al-Kasyaf Islamic Boarding School in Bandung. Students are directed to become Muslim entrepreneurs from an early age. They are taught how to make good and quality products, they are also trained and taught in product design, good promotion and how to sell through online stores. Al-Kasyaf Islamic Boarding School even has several business units and independent products, including: Al-Kasyaf Tempe, Santri soap (Sasan), hand washing soap, salt and processed food and vegetable products.

Moderation is the best choice to be applied in the world of education or in the learning process considering that acts of violence and bullying disturb the community and tolerance is the right choice to practice in social life. To create a more tolerant social life, education is needed that initiates moderation in learning, especially in Islamic religious learning because Islam is one of the subjects in schools/madrasas and tertiary institutions which makes it possible to be directed to learning that contains moderation, especially in context of religious moderation. Islamic religious learning with a concentration of religious moderation is expected to minimize acts of radicalism, considering that Indonesian society is known for its pluralism and diversity of religions, ethnicities, customs, languages, and cultures. The method used in this research is to use a qualitative type with a literature study approach. The results of this study indicate that moderation in Islamic religious learning in schools/madrasah and universities must be demonstrated by utilizing learning dimensions that are rich in religious moderation values, while the learning dimensions are, 1) Direct learning strategies in the form of drills and indirect strategies in the form of relaxation, 2) Learning models with a multidisciplinary approach, inquiry methods, discussion and question and answer techniques as well as learning objectives based on religion and Indonesianness.

The independent learning curriculum as a complement to the previous curriculum was considered a solution to overcome learning loss during the pandemic. This is a challenge in itself for the competence of Islamic Religious Education teachers in implementing the independent learning curriculum in Muhammadiyah schools which have a unique curriculum for that organization. This study aims to analyze the competence of PAI teachers in implementing the independent learning curriculum in Muhammadiyah schools and the methods used by teachers in implementing this curriculum. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research with a library research approach. As a result, to implement an independent learning curriculum, PAI teachers should have 4 basic teacher competencies, and in implementing this curriculum PAI teachers should carry out 7 stages of independent learning curriculum implementation.
