In this article, it is explored the possibility of using La Razón Populista to interpret political phenomena that have nothing to do with classic populist movements, but rather with unquestionably political and historical movements. More specifically, we raise the question of whether Laclau's theory of populism is valid to interpret a historical phenomenon such as the text of a declaration of independence. Thus, the question guiding this essay is: is Laclau's populism, as the author himself indicates, a theoretical framework that can be used to interpret various political phenomena, and not only those related to the images of classical or traditional populism?

EnglishAbstract: This paper examines legal means that were enacted “to face the expansion of communism” in Colombia, after the triumph of the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917 and its subsequent consolidation in the Cold War, and places them in their respective political context in two different moments: in the twenties when the Conservative Hegemony enacted laws to stop the influence of the Russian revolution, in a time of intense social upheaval and worker mobilization; and then in the military rule of General Gustavo Rojas Pinilla (1953-1957), who ban the "international communism" in times of the Cold War.

In this article, we reflect from a feminist perspective on the division of the private and public spheres and the female captivities to analyze the difficulties of female political membership and the posibilities of being part of an armed political organization like the Revolutionary Left Movement (MIR) in Chile, based on the testimony of women of this organization and on their official party documentation. We propose that in the transition from the role of ‘madresposa’ (mother and wife) mandated by hegemonic femininity, to the guerrilla -historically male and masculinizingthese militants go through an illusion of equality as a result of an effort to show that they have enough, ending in a non-place, as the end of the journey is denied sex-generically, despite that they incur in transgressions unusual for this generation.
