INQUIRY BASED LEARNING TO DEVELOP SOCIAL SKILLS: RESEARCH REVIEW 通过探究式学习培养社交能力:研究综述

The modern era demands that society members who have good social skills like communication skills, interpersonal skills, decision making skills and learnt verbal and nonverbal behavior. These necessary skills can be developed through the modification in the current instructional strategies. From the past times teachers are heavily rely only on chalk and talk method. Now there is a demand of society to shift the teaching learning process to learner centered and this can be possible through the adoption of constructivism based instructional methods like inquiry-based learning. It is that learning, in which learners construct their concepts with framing questions, constructing hypotheses, designing and conduction of experiments, generation of explanations. All the phases of inquiry driven instruction utilize the social skills for collective working.

This article seeks to explore and assess the nuanced connotations of gender and patriarchy on women diplomats in the Indian Foreign Services. In the contemporary postmodern landscape, there is a discernible rise in women’s involvement, notably contributing to the Indian Foreign Services whenever afforded the opportunity. Despite these strides, a feminist perspective unveils the persistent gendered dynamic within politics, particularly in the Foreign Services, where it remains predominantly perceived as a male domain, fostering an environment heavily skewed towards male dominance. Regrettably, women encounter limited equal opportunities in this realm. Analogous to various facets of life, the Foreign Services stand entrenched in the grip of male diplomats, firmly under the aegis of patriarchal structures. This research paper endeavors to scrutinize the role and status of women diplomats in the Foreign Services through the nuanced lens of feminism. The exploration aims to unravel the intricacies surrounding women’s participation in foreign policy decision-making. Employing both Descriptive and Analytical methodologies, this research seeks to elucidate the multifaceted factors influencing the involvement of women diplomats in shaping foreign policy. Therefore, the research paper will study the role and participation of Indian women diplomats in the Indian Foreign Services. Also, this study will scrutinize the impact of gender and patriarchy on the same filed. Lastly it will offer conclusion along with vital solutions to tackle the problems.

Artificial intelligence (AI) refers to the simulation of human intelligence in machines. Artificial Intelligence technology has led to creation of AI tools that mimic human intelligence. These machines/AI tools have the capability of performing the tasks that depend upon and are associated with human cognitive skills, like, learning and logical reasoning. AI is impacting all spheres of our lives. It has reshaped the arena of business as well, and is being used by organizations for data analytics, automation, pattern recognition, decision making and content creation. Different areas of business, be it marketing, customer service, production or human resources, can use AI to improve operations and productivity. The present paper provides an overview of the role and application of AI in business organizations.

SUSTAINABLE UNINTERRUPTED LEARNING – AN APPROACH TO BLENDED LEARNING 可持续的不间断学习--混合式学习方法

Education is an all-encompassing lifetime process that is fundamental to every nation’s development. The world witnessed a major shift toward education and the different ways and modes of delivery of instruction to learners during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many approaches to the teaching-learning process came into existence during this time. Different ways of remote teaching-learning processes were explored. Post-pandemic it has become essential to be ready by adding and exploring some ways of teaching-learning processes which is uninterruptable and sustainable in the long run. Blended Learning can ace the race most effectively. The recent advances in technology and its user-friendliness are an added advantage. A Blended Learning approach incorporates technology with a normal face-to-face teaching pedagogy. The Blended Learning approach helps in overcoming the idea of learning once and from one place and by one instructor. It replaces this idea and helps the process of learning to be continuous, repeated, sustainable, and joyful. Blended learning allows the learner to customize his learning experience as it facilitates the advantages of control over time and space. The students of the upper primary level are at the cusp of enjoying autonomous learning. They start taking the onus of their work and success. This makes it an appropriate time to introduce Blended Learning. A flipped learning approach was employed in the present study. The subject of science being both experimental and theoretical also caters to multiple intelligence theory. The present study focuses on checking the efficacy of the intervention (with the help of e-books) by analyzing the achievement test scores of the control group and the experimental group. Blended learning was found to be an effective and sustainable option that can ensure uninterrupted study with a well-balanced approach in the long run.

IMPACT OF PEDAGOGICAL INNOVATION ON EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHERS’ CLASSROOM PRACTICES IN SELECTED BASIC SCHOOLS IN SURULERE OF LAGOS, NIGERIA 教学创新对尼日利亚拉各斯苏鲁雷尔部分基础学校幼儿教师课堂实践的影响

Dynamics in education are changes teachers bring into classroom practices. The study focused on exploring the impact of pedagogical innovation on early childhood teachers’ classroom practices in selected Basic schools in Surulere Local Government Area, Lagos, Nigeria. The study adopted a descriptive survey research design. The population of the study comprised all basic school teachers in Surulere, Lagos state. Simple random sampling technique was used to randomly select a sample size of 240 public basic school teachers in Surulere LGA. Ten teachers each in 24 schools were randomly selected. Two research questions in a-14 item statement instrument titled ‘Impact of Pedagogical Innovation and Teachers’ Classroom Practices’ (IPITCP) questionnaire was used to elicit information from respondents. Face and content validity of the instrument was carried out by Experts in Early Childhood and Measurement and Evaluation. The reliability coefficient of 0.80 of the instruments was derived through test-re-test. Data gathered were analyzed using descriptive statistics such as frequency count, percentages and mean. The study identified the challenges associated with the adoption of pedagogical innovation, and examined impact of pedagogical innovation on classroom practices. The findings of the study revealed that pedagogical innovation had a positive impact on classroom practices which attributed to the improvement in teachers’ motivation towards teaching and learning, an increase in the level of pupils’ engagement and motivation, and an overall improvement in pupils’ learning outcome. The study also revealed that adoption of pedagogical innovation posed several challenges to the teachers, including inadequate access to technology, limited gadgets and resources, and inadequate training among others. Recommendations were made among others that training organized for teachers should be innovative in order to enhance their competence in ICTs. Also, Government, NGOs, PTA should assist in procuring ICTs gadgets among others.

The study focused on exploring the impact of pedagogical innovation on early childhood teachers’ classroom practices in selected Basic schools in Surulere Local Government Area, Lagos, Nigeria. The study adopted a descriptive survey research design. The population of the study comprised all basic school teachers in Surulere, Lagos state. Simple random sampling technique was used to randomly select a sample size of 240 public basic school teachers in Surulere LGA. Ten teachers each in 24 schools were randomly selected. Two research questions in a-14 item statement instrument titled ‘Impact of Pedagogical Innovation and Teachers’ Classroom Practices’ (IPITCP) questionnaire was used to elicit information from respondents. Face and content validity of the instrument was carried out by Experts in Early Childhood and Measurement and Evaluation. The reliability coefficient of 0.80 of the instruments was derived through test-re-test. Data gathered were analyzed using descriptive statistics such as frequency count, percentages and mean. The study identified the challenges associated with the adoption of pedagogical innovation, and examined impact of pedagogical innovation on classroom practices. The findings of the study revealed that pedagogical innovation had a positive impact on classroom practices which attributed to the improvement in teachers’ motivation towards teaching and learning, an increase in the level of pupils’ engagement and motivation, and an overall improvement in pupils’ learning outcome. The study also revealed that adoption of pedagogical innovation posed several challenges to the teachers, including inadequate access to technology, limited gadgets and resources, and inadequate training among others. Recommendations were made among others that training organized for teachers should be innovative in order to enhance their competence in ICTs. There has been a great tradition of music education in India since the Vedic period. In ancient times, music education was given only through the Gurukul system. Later, in the Middle Ages, the Gharana or Sampradaya system came into existence. The music that has reached us today has been transmitted in the form of oral tradition throughout generation to generation. In the present era, with the development of technology, music education is also changing. Due to today’s increasing population, the importance of technology in the field of education has revolutionized various aspects of our lives. Gurmukhi arts like music are being taught by today’s resources. In today’s era, teaching music through distance mode is the need of the hour for the promising music students of the country. The mobile revolution and the availability of the internet have opened important doors for this. Distance education system is a method of education that transcends geographical boundaries and exists as a powerful tool in providing quality education. The present paper aims to explore the potential of distance education in the field of music education, highlight its benefits, challenges and the ways in which it can be beneficial to music students and teachers.

IMPACT OF METACOGNITIVE STRATEGIES ON STUDENT LEARNING 元认知策略对学生学习的影响

In the quest to enhance learning outcomes, this paper articulates three significant goals: the promotion of metacognitive strategies, provision of support to teachers incorporating metacognition in their teaching practices, and serving as a valuable tool to enhance learning for all. Although the impact of metacognitive strategies on our cognitive processes is expected in social interaction, it may often remain inexplicit. Therefore, this study endeavors to accentuate the importance of metacognition as a driver of efficient learning processes, even in the 19th century. This paper delves deep into the distinctive features and uses of various types of metacognitive approaches that can be employed within educational contexts. The purpose is to analyze concrete proof that instructors, stakeholders and researchers can benefit from. Findings suggest that implementing metacognitive strategies can enhance the overall learning journey for students of every level and background.

National Education Policy (2020) is an education policy whose main objective is to ensure what should be the direction and condition of the country’s education system and educational system. This policy lays special emphasis on promoting the use of technology in the context of various educational dimensions and aspects, developing the creative abilities inherent in every individual, removing linguistic constraints, making education accessible to students with disabilities, etc. In fact, the National Education Policy 2020 is an education policy based on Indian constitutional values and fundamental obligations that emphasizes on connecting with the country and creating awareness of the role and responsibilities of a citizen in a changing world that promotes human rights, sustainable development and livelihood, and global Be committed to welfare. There are some such provisions under this education policy; Such as ensuring equal access for all at all levels of education, emphasis on basic literacy and numeracy, multilingualism and language power, early childhood care and education with new curriculum and educational structure and inclusive education etc. This in itself makes it a unique and important education policy in the context of the current educational and school perspective.
