The issue of secularism, which was founded by M. Luther in history and is still recognized as one of the topics of discussion, is becoming increasingly important, especially in a period of increasing weight and place of religion in world politics. This article examined the basic definition and meaning of the concept of secularism, which is the main guarantee of the stability and development of the country, as well as the principles of secularity in world practice. The researchers conducted a comprehensive analysis of the nature of secularism, based on foreign scientific data and conclusions, as well as domestic scientists on this topic. Contrary to the definitions of secularism given by people with non-traditional religious worldviews, explanations were given that secularism is not atheism. The main purpose of the study is to discuss domestic and foreign research, contribute to solving problems, revealing the meaning of secularism based on the mistakes of the past and hope for the future.

Nowadays there is a tendency to view young people and their socio-political activity as a problem that needs to be solved. But often the question is: how and in what way it is necessary to solve if the youth is viewed as a potential threat or problem, and actually, is it worth considering the youth as some kind of force capable of disrupting the foundations of stability and socio-political activity of the state. Relevance of the study is determined by the specifics and importance of the political culture of the younger generation as a key component of positive changes in society, development of a stable state at the national and international levels. This work also provides a definition of political culture, its role in the formation and development of the younger generation, as well as the place of youth in a society; also main principles of the formation of political culture are named; main problems in this direction are indicated too. This article has conclusion that development of the political literacy and culture in a society with the participation of young people is determined by the need to establish a dialogue between the state and society, via improvement of legal mechanisms in the field of youth policy, and emphasizing a role of the younger generation as future peacemakers.

This study examines the challenging lives and roles of Jeju divers as independent modern women reflected in Korean media during the Japanese colonial era, by analyzing the articles in Maeil-shinbo, the only Korean newspaper at the time. Jeju woman divers were registered as UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2016 and have great significance as a leading model in the beginning of modern Korean women. In previous studies, Jeju divers have been treated as a unique lifestyle and cultural construct formed in the special environment of the island region. However, they pursued a pioneering and progressive life despite the double oppressive structure of the colonial rule and the feudal tradition that restrained women. They became independent economic agents by enduring extreme labor in the dangerous environment of the deep sea, and also resisted power without being silent about the exploitation and oppression of the colonists. And through the organization of voluntary decision-making bodies, they themselves protected their rights and interests in economic activities.

This article indicates the place of the practice of «journey» in Sufism. The peculiarity of travel in Sufism is highlighted, which lies in the fact that the traveler’s attention is focused not only on the object of visit, but also focuses on the relevance of the process of overcoming the path itself to this object. Metaphorical (internal) and realistic (external) types of travel are distinguished. The inner journey occurs during insight, dreaming, etc. The importance of external travel is taken into account, physical movement in a certain geographical space. It is carried out for the sake of seeking knowledge, taming the nafs and strengthening the internal order, visiting holy places. The source base for this study is the «hikmets» of the founder of Central Asian Sufism Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, which often describe the essence and meaning of travel, spiritual quest and dervish.

In this work, the hadiths and sunnahs of the Prophet in terms of protecting the family and procreation are discussed, and what measures are taken to ensure the happiness of the family are analyzed in concrete examples and related hadeeths. As a method, the narrations on this subject are identified and evaluated from the sources of saheeh hadeeth, and the opinions of the narrators on this issue are given. The sociological, cultural and religious results of the Messenger of Allah’s actions and proposals in protecting the family will be compared with the data of modern science and will reveal how realistic and solution-oriented they are.

The article examines the concept of holiness (sacredness) as a phenomenon of human culture in close connection with the history of its formation. In the process of analyzing the findings of scientists who studied the nature of the phenomenon of sacredness, the author proves that sacredness is a phenomenon that includes not only religious life, but also cultural and spiritual life in general. Therefore, in this respect, the concept of spirituality is also a concept close to the concept of sacredness. Therefore, he concludes that the idea of sacredness, like spirituality, can be considered as a universal and ahistorical universal core. The analysis of the scientific foundations of the conceptual understanding of sacred or holy values in the Kazakh worldview, originating from ancient Turkic traditions, is considered a novelty of the article.

According to the Concept of the Foreign Policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2020- 2030, one of the key priorities in the field of regional and multilateral diplomacy is the further development of a comprehensive strategic partnership with the People’s Republic of China. Currently, China is one of the leading world powers, a strategic partner of Kazakhstan and one of the few countries in the world that can provide feasible financial assistance to our country to restore the economy faced with the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic. China’s foreign policy strategies reflect the approach of the country’s leadership to the system of international relations and global governance. China is constantly in the spotlight and arouses constant interest. It should also be noted that an important factor for the PRC determining the development of its relations with Kazakhstan is the intention to create a buffer zone between major world powers.

The article is devoted to the study of the political and religious foundations of the origin of the phenomenon of power and belongs to the field of research of political theology. The study of the theological foundations of the phenomenon of power was carried out within the framework of a neo-institutional methodological paradigm, taking into account the data of hermeneutic analysis, which is an applied aspect of the work. The phenomenon of power is considered within the framework of a broader aspect - the ontology of the social, as part of the fundamental layer of being. The authors examined the basic ontological concepts of the phenomenon of power within the framework of the theological paradigm. In the political and philosophical theory of the Middle Ages, the concept of «power» was conveyed by four main Latin words: auctoritas, potestas, dominium and imperium, each of which illuminated one of the facets of the phenomenon of power. «Auctoritas» – authority, potestas» – power, «dominium» – possession, «imperium» – command. At the same time, the first two words – auctoritas and potestas – were, of course, key to understanding the essence of the medieval concept of power. This work reveals the specific features and mechanisms by which medieval Western European monarchies interacted with the Catholic Church, preventing open conflicts, mitigating mutual claims and even organizing cooperation between spiritual and secular authorities at the highest political level Various positions are considered on understanding the essence of political power, as well as on the origin of this phenomenon in a historical and theological way; the works of both domestic and foreign experts are studied.

The main purpose of the article is to study the data provided by them and obtain any valuable information, the formation of a chronology of al-Farabi’s works based on the collected data. Based on historical data, we can see how the nature of the behavior of Abu Nasir al-Farabi influenced the formation of a scientist as a person. We can admire his moral qualities, modesty and decency, giving all his energy to the pursuit of knowledge, discarding material wealth. The proof of this is a simple way of life, no matter what scientific legacy he left behind. This article is based on the works of the famous orientalist, professor A. Derbisali Kazhy, who has been conducting research of Arabic handwritten data for many years.
