In the context of war, providing timely psychological support is crucial for internally displaced persons in Ukraine and emigrants abroad. This kind of assistance is considered a priority for individuals who have recently experienced traumatic events and are in a vulnerable psychological state. The article is focused on identifying mental health problems among individuals who have been temporarily displaced or emigrated abroad during the war. It aims to improve the toolkit for providing psychological support to these populations. The study analyses the specific challenges associated with providing psychological support to these individuals. Forced resettlement to another region or country, combined with the prolonged impact of information stress, air raids, and the loss of a normal way of life, has been shown to contribute to the development of psychological disorders at both emotional and behavioural levels. The article focuses on the specificity of manifestations of prolonged stress, which can take the form of severe anxiety and excessive worry, as well as unpredictable outbursts of anger. It is widely accepted that physical stress can cause symptoms such as muscle pain, chronic fatigue, rapid heartbeat, and increased irritability. The physical aspects of stress, when combined, can have a detrimental effect on a person's personality and negatively impact their psychological well-being. This paper defines the complexity levels of mental disorders and outlines their factoriality. Factors such as age, involvement in the emergency (as a witness, participant, or directly affected), personal life experience, psychological health, and interpersonal relationships are considered. A conceptual approach is proposed for providing first psychological aid to the studied population categories. This includes providing emotional, physical, and social support to the affected individual, enhancing their sense of security. The practical significance of the research results lies in their potential application in the development, improvement, and implementation of psychological support programs for internally displaced persons in Ukraine and emigrants abroad in wartime conditions.

The relevance of the stated topic of this research is conditioned upon the numerous problems of providing medical care to elderly people who suffer from chronic diseases characteristic of various disability groups, accompanied by a complete or partial loss of the ability to self-care, as a result of which there is a steady trend towards an increase in mortality among people of these age groups. The purpose of this research is to study the features of constructing an algorithm for providing geriatric and gerontological care in the Republic of Kazakhstan, considering the international experience accumulated in this field. The basis of the methodological approach in this study is a combination of a systematic analysis of the accumulated international experience in the field of geriatric and gerontological care, with an analytical study of the actual possibilities of constructing an algorithm for providing assistance based on this international experience. The main results obtained in the course of this study are the definition of the main stages of the algorithm for providing geriatric and gerontological care, and the definition of the main age groups of patients, more than other categories in need of this kind of assistance, formulated on the basis of accumulated international experience in this area. The results of this research work, including the conclusions formulated on their basis, have significant practical significance for disabled elderly people in need of medical care, and for social and medical service workers whose direct professional responsibilities include providing medical care to elderly people.

The choice of a lifestyle was and will remain an important part of the way in which we organise our life, certainly in the given socio-economic and cultural conditions. Lifestyle is built in agreement with the wish of each and any of us to achieve satisfaction with life, or in philosophical language, happiness. The concept of subjective wellbeing is a fundamental one in the quality-of-life paradigm. The main indicator of the subjective state is satisfaction with life. Global satisfaction with life is the outcome of the degree of fulfillment of the individual as general average of all fields of life. In this indicator are included important human benefits, results of economic growth in relationship with the wishes and aspirations to happiness and welfare. They express the permanent orientation of the individual towards self-development/self-construction. In fact, satisfaction with life, as subjective state of individual wellbeing depends on both economic personal welfare (living standard, income, employment, financial situation) and on the state of society’s organization and governance quality, family situation, type of interpersonal and neighborship relations, social participation, etc. The lifestyle is also a key-factor here. Sectoral indicators of satisfaction with life cover the main spheres of human existence (family, profession, work, free time, safety, civic and political participation, personal development, interpersonal relationships, neighborship and friendship relationships, etc.). Subjective wellbeing or “subjective/perceived quality of life” is a critical structural component of the global state of wellbeing. It is the human filter of the objective living conditions. The subjective quality of life is not just the summation of the quality of life’s components, but more than that, the synthesis of its results: the state of human balance, tranquility, wellness. And, the result might allow accessing happiness, the perpetual aspiration of the human. By means of the subjective indicators for satisfaction with life, happiness benefits of ways for precise measurement and analysis. The concept of happiness is a key-concept of all philosophical systems, but it entered by operational forms also in socio-humane, medical and economic sciences, etc.

The self-determination theory (SDT) is a macro theory of human motivation and personality that focuses on people’s innate psychological needs and their desires for growth and development. The Multidimensional Work Motivation Scale (MWMS) is grounded in the SDT and was extensively researched and tested on different cultures, in different languages and in different contexts. The purpose of this research was to evaluate the applicability of the MWMS in a different and relatively new type of work, namely on online gig work. A sample of workers on the Clickworker.com platform (N=542) voluntarily answered the questionnaire. The result shows that, while most subscales are applicable in this context, the Introjected regulation subscale might need some adjustment for online work environments.

This research aims to investigate the role of the Social Circus in the construction of citizenship through the learning and practice of citizenship competencies. The Social Circus provides a platform for learning circus and creating spaces for collective creation to promote personal, group and community empowerment to improve the quality of life of the participants and the society that surrounds them. Previous research has focused on the Social Circus’ personal and group workspace, but there’s still little literature on the construction of community and citizenship. This research studies the qualitative component in more depth, using a case analysis approach and The Reference Framework of Competencies for Democratic Culture developed by the Council of Europe (2018). To achieve so, two projects that use the concept of Social Circus and have a community perspective have been selected. Semi-structured interviews, group discussion and data analysis were used for the selection process. The results indicate that the Social Circus is an ideal setting to learn and practice citizenship competencies for a Democratic Culture during class, in the preparation of the show or final exhibition and/or in the community spaces related to the project.

This article presents data of a quantitative study that aimed to analyze the specifics of the wellbeing of students in disadvantaged secondary schools. A total of 1579 students of gymnasium level from 27 disadvantaged schools in Iasi County, Romania, participated in a survey conducted using the Adolescent Wellbeing Scale (EPOCH). Findings illustrate that pupils from disadvantaged schools have a low level of wellbeing, with different characteristics depending on the gender, age, environment and the level of disadvantage of the school. Results indicate that students from disadvantaged schools are satisfied with their life, develop positive interpersonal relationships, show indifference to involvement in activities and easily abandon their goals. This study confirms the importance of analyzing students' wellbeing to identify educational strategies that allow schools to be more effective from the perspective of reducing the level of violence and decreasing the level of student demotivation, problems that educational systems face nowadays.

Indonesia stands as a colossus in the digital payment frontier, boasting the largest market in Southeast Asia with a staggering 92 million users in 2020 alone and a transaction value eclipsing 18.7 billion US dollars. It’s within this vibrant backdrop that our research unravels the enigma of Gen Z, the digital-native cohort swiftly commandeering these platforms. Riding the wave of e-Wallet domination, with over 70 service providers and an impressive 104 million users, our findings dive deep into the pulsating core of Gen Z’s behaviors. At the intersection of culture and commerce, we discover that cultural nuances, notably acceptance of inequality and collectivism, significantly sculpt their brand allegiance. Concurrently, a superior customer experience emerges as a pivotal anchor for their loyalty. Yet, the shimmering digital horizon reveals disparities: a discernible gender imbalance and concerning gaps in financial literacy among these young consumers. For forward-thinking businesses, the clarion call is unmistakable: to triumph in the Indonesian market, one must deftly navigate its cultural tapestry, elevate customer experiences, and champion financial literacy. This study doesn’t just decode the Gen Z phenomenon in Indonesia but illuminates the roadmap for businesses to thrive in the heart of Southeast Asia’s digital payment behemoth.
