This paper discusses the relationships among aesthetic cognition, aesthetic emotion and college students’ aesthetic behaviour in light of three questionnaires including an aesthetic cognition scale, an aesthetic emotion scale, and an aesthetic behaviour scale. A survey including these three structured scales was administered to 1060 university students at general undergraduate institutions. Their responses were scored on a 5-point Likert scale. Structural equation modelling was used to construct the measurement model and structural model. The survey results indicated positive correlations among these three variables. In addition, aesthetic emotion played a mediating role in the influence of aesthetic cognition on aesthetic behaviour. The results of this study can enhance the daily lives of college students by improving their levels of aesthetic and creative behaviour.

The objective of this research is to examine the social changes in European countries resulting from the Russian war against Ukraine and to understand their implications for the future functioning of social institutions. The research is grounded in the theoretical framework that recognizes the significant impact of the war in Ukraine on various aspects of European societies, including emotional state, daily life, public opinion, interpersonal relationships, socio-economic status, employment, and public activity. The study aims to identify and analyze the main trends of social changes in European countries in response to the war. The research utilizes the analytic-bibliographic method to review relevant scientific literature on social changes in European countries over the past year. Additionally, it employs various analytical methods such as induction, deduction, analysis, synthesis of information, systemic-structural, comparative, logical-linguistic methods, as well as abstraction and idealization for data study and processing. An online survey conducted by the researchers was used to gather practical insights on key questions related to changes in the social status quo in Europe due to the resolution of the war in Ukraine. The research findings highlight the most important theoretical aspects of societal development trends in European countries affected by the war in Ukraine. It also investigates the perspectives of scientists and sociologists studying the international social sphere regarding critical aspects of this issue. The conclusion drawn from the research provides a comprehensive understanding of the social changes that have occurred in European countries as a result of the war in Ukraine. This research contributes to the broader understanding of the far-reaching impacts of the Russian war against Ukraine on European societies. The implications of this research can guide post-war European society research and aid in planning transformative changes to address the societal shifts brought about by the conflict.

Teachers’ educational concept is an important part of teachers’ quality, which reflects teachers’ understanding of education. Educational concepts are teachers’ personal views on education based on their subjective understanding of students’ developmental characteristics and the laws of educational activities in their daily life, educational teaching practice, and professional theoretical learning under a certain historical and cultural background. Teachers’ education concept affects teaching quality, students’ development, and personal development. It has a decisive significance for the smooth development of educational activities. The transformation of teacher education concept is affected by various factors. These are both internal and external factors, and its development is the inevitable trend and demand of the individual’s internal growth. Self-determination theory (SDT) plays a guiding role in analyzing the effective factors of teacher education concept change. The strategies for improving teachers’ teaching concepts are as follows: help teachers improve their teaching ability through teacher training, gain more autonomy, and thus enhance their educational concepts. In addition to these, meeting teachers’ related needs in cooperation, and cooperating to achieve the improvement of teachers’ educational concepts are also among the factors. The transformation of ideas is realized in the practice and reflection of education.

COVID-19 has been of great concern since it broke out. Many countries have put more effort into securing vaccines and therapeutic medicines. In the meantime, there has been a large number of scholarly efforts in figuring out the relationship between smoking and new coronary pneumonia. This study firstly collected daily data (the number of people hospitalized with new coronary pneumonia, severe cases, and the number of people double-vaccinated against new coronary pneumonia in various countries or regions) and annual data (the human development index and smoking rate of each country or region). We collected data from 160 countries from the Our Data World database. The time is for January 1, 2020 through June 30, 2022. We divided daily and annual data into the first-level and second-level data. Finally, we checked the relationship between smoking and COVID-19 in a Hierarchical Linear Model (HLM). The result shows that smoking raises the number of new cases of infection and death among people fully vaccinated per hundred. There is a partial mediating effect of new cases smoothed per million over new deaths smoothed per million. Smoking significantly increases the effect of new cases smoothed per million over new deaths smoothed per million. Our findings have high generalizability around the world.

Under the effects of rapid changes in current social environment and family, family structure gradually changes from past extended family and stem family to nuclear family for matching modern social environment. Preschool children’s learning is affected by school education as well as family education. When different family socioeconomic status would affect children’s cognitive ability to form the stratification of cognitive ability development, such a phenomenon is growing apart from the philosophy of equality of educational opportunity. Aiming at parents of children in preschool education units in china, as the research objects, total 360 copies of questionnaire are distributed, and 237 valid copies are retrieved, with the retrieval rate 66%. The research results are summarized as below. 1. Children with higher family socioeconomic status present better cognitive ability, explaining the actual effect of family socioeconomic status on current children’s cognitive ability to form educational stratification as well as unequal opportunity for preschool education. 2. The higher family socioeconomic status shows the richer family educational resources. It is therefore inferred that children with higher family socioeconomic status reveal better cognitive ability, possibly because of richer family educational resources allowing children receiving more cultural, social, or financial capital stimulation to enhance more cognitive ability. According to the result to proposed suggestions, it is expected to enhance domestic ideal of equality of preschool educational opportunity, allow domestic education parallel to various advanced countries, and achieve the responsibility for cultivating quality citizen in the future.

If we talk about parenting, it can be said that there is a great diversity among families, due to the fact that cultural aspects have a major impact on how children are raised. Several researchers have analysed over time the relationship between parenting styles and various developmental disorders of adolescents, but also the relationship between parenting styles and children’s school results were considered. Many of these researches drew attention to the fact that there are consequences that affect public health, namely the health status of adolescents (Lahey, 2009). A large part of the research looks at the four parenting styles described by Carlson, Laczniak Wertley (2011) based on the research of Baumrind (1991). They created a matrix with 2 x 2 axis, in which permissiveness and restrictiveness are on the vertical axis, and warmth and hostility on the horizontal axis. Between these two axes are located the four parenting styles: authoritarian, authoritative or democratic, indulgent or permissive and neglectful. This article analyses the characteristics of the four parenting styles and how they influence the child’s development. Parental control, children’s responsibility, parental warmth, parental responsiveness are just some of the factors that have been examined in relation to the development of children’s autonomy in general and in adolescent’s autonomy in particular, school results, socialization, including social behaviour of adolescents as well as consumers in the marketplace.

The sexual harassment of adolescents is a heterogeneous phenomenon; however, some aspects of the perpetrators of these crimes appear obscure or little - known. This study aims to investigate the emotional and relational skills of a sex offender through the critical analysis of his psychological path. The sex offender is a middle - aged man accused of sexual acts with minors. The patient has socio - relational deficits as well as immaturity in the sexual–affective sphere, which make him vulnerable. During the clinical path, he was very tired and felt the weight of what he was caring for. The patient should carry out training aimed at restructuring his cognitive distortions, working on the aspects concerning relationships. This case study highlights how necessary investments are in policies that allow sex offenders to try to improve their conditions as well as allowing social inclusion free from prejudices and stigmatizations. It will ultimately reduce the risk of recidivism.

Public enterprises and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) have similar goals in the eyes of the state. SMEs that get government or public bodies funding can make it a public enterprise. These enterprises in Indonesia face challenges due to limited resources, low market reach, and low marketing expertise. They must leverage their marketing capabilities effectively and adopt strategic approaches such as entrepreneurial orientation and digital marketing. This study explores digital marketing mediation and marketing capabilities in the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and marketing performance in public enterprises. Survey techniques were used for this study, and data were obtained from 176 respondents who are entrepreneurs who use social media in their marketing activities. Data are processed and analysed using smartPLS. The results of this study show that entrepreneurial orientation significantly affects marketing capabilities, digital marketing and marketing performance in MSEs. Digital marketing and market capabilities have a direct positive influence on marketing performance. In addition, digital marketing and market capabilities mediate the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and marketing performance. Marketing capabilities mediate the relationship between digital marketing and marketing performance.
