The advancement of digital art has significantly transformed how artistic creations are presented. Nevertheless, this transformation is intrinsically entwined with the historical impact of colonialism. This article takes a global perspective to investigate underlying colonialism-related concerns within the realm of digital art. It begins by elucidating how colonialism distorts conventional art forms, often resulting in the erasure of indigenous cultures. Subsequently, it delves into the enduring influence of colonialism in digital art, encompassing aspects such as technological dominance, cultural value crises, and the emergence of digital capitalism. The study underscores the imperative for researchers to scrutinize this multifaceted issue through a global lens, honoring the richness of diverse cultures and facilitating equitable dialogues. Furthermore, the article advocates for the concept of "digital interruption," endorsing collaboration among peripheral nations and the pursuit of developmental avenues aligned with local circumstances. The presence of colonialism in digital art serves as a poignant reminder of the necessity to cultivate critical thinking, foster cultural empathy, and champion the causes of historically marginalized groups. Ultimately, this endeavor contributes to the positive and inclusive evolution of digital art.

Purpose: Numerous empirical studies have confirmed that learning from examples and by doing (LFED) can improve learning efficiency; however, its impact on learning motivation is still unclear. Therefore, this study investigated the effects of LFED on students' mathematics learning performance, academic engagement and academic self-efficacy to explore its effect on Learning motivation. Methods: In a cluster randomized controlled trial, 119 seventh-grade students were randomly assigned to either a four-month LFED group (n=59) or a conventional group (n=60). The interventional group was taught by the LFED method, and the other received a traditional teaching method. Both groups were assessed before and after the intervention to measure academic performance in mathematics, learning engagement, and academic self-efficacy. Results: Repeated-measures ANOVA showed a significant group-by-time effect for academic self-efficacy and learning behavior dimension scores; there were no significant group-by-time effects for math academic performance, learning engagement scores, and related dimension scores. Paired-sample t-tests showed no significant change in self-efficacy scores in the LFED group but a significant decrease in self-efficacy and all related dimensions scores in the conventional group. There was no change in cognitive engagement dimension scores in the LFED group but a substantial decrease in the conventional group. Conclusion: As an adaptive learning method originating from artificial intelligence, LFED had an equal impact on math academic performance as traditional teaching methods. However, LFED was feasible and effective in enhancing students’ academic self-efficacy and cognitive learning engagement.

In this paper, teaching reform of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) is conducted based on the data analysis by machine learning methodologies. First, the Spearman correlation coefficients between different process assessments and the total scores are computed to show their relevance. Then, a probabilistic neural network is trained based on real data, and the test result proves that one student’s final score level can be roughly inferred based on his/her process assessment. Hence, several reform schemes are proposed centering at the process assessment to help strengthen learning of important knowledge points. Finally, the assessment results show that the proposed teaching reform plans are reasonable and effective in improving the achievability of DSP teaching.

Purpose: The spread of infectious disease, Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), has had a significant impact on people worldwide in the past three years. Although people's production and livelihoods are no longer strictly restricted, the fact is that the epidemic is not over. lack of understanding of the disease is one of the most common drivers of improper use of COVID-19 preventive measures, which increases the spread of the disease and the number of new cases in many countries. Although children and adolescents, are less likely to be infected with COVID-19 or to be or less symptomatic than other populations, adolescents are more likely to fail to follow strict precautions. This systematic review aimed to identify COVID-19 related KAP levels and associated factors among middle school students.

The circuits basis is a professional fundamental course offered by electrical and electronic information majors in ordinary undergraduate universities. In many universities, theoretical knowledge of circuits basis is overemphasized and the explanation and analysis of practical cases are ignored. Under the situation of new engineering and curriculum-based political and virtuous awareness, how to enhance students' practical awareness and patriotism has become an important reform content of the circuit basis course. In the reform measures, we import project tasks and objectives, and display project results by using Multisim and Proteus virtual simulation software. On the other hand, we explore the ideological and political elements of the curriculum from five aspects: "research spirit", "mission and responsibility", "historical perspective", "philosophical thinking", and "unity and cooperation". From the effectiveness of the reform, students' political awareness and practical abilities have been improved.
