This writing aims to analyze the occurrence of changes in the understanding of the community and the shift in language of some recitations of the Quran and Hadith from the perspective of Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh). Understanding religion cannot be separated from the issue of language shift because the fundamental sources of Islamic teachings are the Quran and Hadith, both of which are in Arabic. The translation of verses from the Quran and Hadith into the Indonesian language is not without uncertainties. For example, the change in understanding of the word "telapak tangan" (palm of the hand) as a translation of the Arabic term "kaff," which excludes the back part of the palm, leading to difficulties in practice. This study is a literature review, and data collection and analysis were conducted using this method. Changes in the community's understanding of these words can be observed in the everyday practices of the community (observation). The results of the study indicate that one of the changes in the community's understanding is the shift from the term "kaff" to "telapak tangan." Its influence can be seen in the understanding and application of the boundaries of the female aurah (parts to be covered) and the attire during ihram. Based on Hadith, most people consider the boundaries of a woman's aurah to be everything except the face and both palms. In fiqh, it is mentioned that a woman in ihram is prohibited from covering her face and both palms. This understanding and practice differ from what is intended in the Hadith and fiqh texts.

This study focuses on the governance of non-extractive natural resources on the Nemberala coast. More specifically, this study aims to trace the access mechanism and power relations of foreign capitalists and the government in the development of resorts, villas and cafes in the Nemberala coastal area, Rote Ndao Regency as a means of supporting tourism and what the implications are for local communities. This study uses two access mechanism approaches, Nency Peluso's Access theory (1992) and Nanang's (2021) elements of political analysis of natural resources as units of analysis. This study uses a single case study strategy with a qualitative inductive research approach. This study found that discourse and material power can change the composition of power and values in an area in the form of domination as an exercise of power. Apart from that, this study found that material power operates at a closed spatial level so that in the land acquisition process on the Nemberala coast unconstitutional practices occur. The study of natural resource governance shows that there are three key actors in the governance of Nemberala's coastal natural resources, namely the government, foreign capitalists and land-owning communities. On the other hand, capitalization, privatization and commodification arise due to the globalization of the tourism market or the internationalization of tourism. Placing tourism in the capitalist space means that natural resource management will discuss who gets what, where it gets it, and how it gets it.

This study explores the dynamics of fertilizer subsidy implementation in Indonesia, focusing on its impact on agricultural policy and practice. With the critical role of subsidies in supporting the agricultural sector, this research aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of their implementation and effectiveness. Utilizing a systematic literature review methodology, the study synthesizes data from a wide range of academic journals, government reports, and policy analyses. The findings highlight the complexities involved in the implementation process, including issues related to policy design, distribution mechanisms, and the actual impact on farmers' productivity and sustainability practices. The study identifies key challenges such as bureaucratic inefficiencies, misallocation of resources, and unintended consequences on smallholder farmers. Additionally, it examines the implications of these subsidies for sustainable agricultural development and the economic resilience of rural communities in Indonesia. The conclusion offers critical reflections on policy recommendations and future directions for optimizing the effectiveness of fertilizer subsidies in enhancing sustainable agricultural growth.

This study explores the imperative need for comprehensive criminal law reform to enhance the efficacy of the justice system in combating crime. As societies evolve, so do the complexities of criminal activities, necessitating a reevaluation of legal frameworks to address emerging challenges. The current legal landscape often proves inadequate in addressing the dynamic nature of criminal behavior, resulting in inefficiencies in crime prevention, investigation, and prosecution. The research investigates key areas of reform, including the modernization of outdated statutes, the incorporation of advanced technologies in crime detection and evidence gathering, and the implementation of evidence-based sentencing practices. By examining successful models from jurisdictions that have already undergone significant legal reforms, this study aims to identify best practices that can be adapted and integrated into existing legal systems. Furthermore, the research considers the socio-economic factors influencing criminal behavior, advocating for a holistic approach that combines legal reforms with social interventions. Such an approach seeks to address root causes of criminality, offering a more sustainable and effective strategy for crime reduction. Through a comprehensive analysis of existing legal frameworks, case studies, and sociological data, this study contributes valuable insights to the ongoing discourse on criminal justice reform. The findings aim to inform policymakers, legal practitioners, and the public, fostering a nuanced understanding of the multifaceted challenges associated with contemporary crime and the necessary steps for a more effective and equitable justice system.

The economic instability and global market fluctuations that will occur in 2023 have created various complex economic challenges and have far-reaching impacts. These dynamics are influenced by various factors, including monetary and fiscal policies, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, geopolitical conflicts, and changes in commodity prices. The impact of this instability can be seen in financial markets, macroeconomics, business and industrial sectors, and has significant socio-economic consequences. This research aims to analyze the causes, impacts, and policy responses to economic instability and global market fluctuations in 2023. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data obtained from various relevant research results or previous studies. Data processing is carried out carefully to ensure accurate and in-depth analysis. The results of this research show that the combination of the impact of monetary and fiscal policies, the ongoing influence of the COVID-19 pandemic, geopolitical dynamics, and changes in commodity prices have contributed to global economic instability. This impact is manifested in financial market volatility, macroeconomic disruption, as well as impacts on business and industrial sectors. Socioeconomic consequences such as increasing poverty and income inequality underscore the need for effective policy responses. The policy responses taken include monetary policy strategies, fiscal measures, structural reforms, and international cooperation.

This research aims to explore the role of the fiscal tax law perspective in realising justice and efficiency in the tax system by applying critical analysis of applicable tax regulations. The research method involves an in-depth review of applicable tax regulations and data collection through related literature. This research methodology consists of three main approaches: normative juridical, literature studies as a data collection method and case studies on implementing tax regulations. The research results show an imbalance in the implementation of current tax regulations, which can affect the achievement of justice and efficiency goals. This research also identifies several aspects that require deeper attention to improve tax effectiveness and fairness. Reforms in terms of transparency, accuracy of tax rates, and simplification of tax regulations are important steps to achieve these goals through critical analysis of applicable tax regulations.
