In the 88th Academy Awards, directed by George Miller, a "wasteland" theme film "Mad Max 4: Fury Road" is the world's most recognized female theme film. 50% of film history is one of the films in the explosive stage. After it won the Oscar six awards, it has become a "wasteland" theme film's new benchmark. Through semiotics and the Bible, this paper deconstructs the image codes in movies. Based on the symbolic interactionism theory, this paper analyses the character behaviour, identity construction and prop application in the Christian symbol system and combs and deconstructs it, trying to explore the symbolic metaphors in movies and reflect on the artistic value and ideological connotation contained in movies.

Under the background of the construction of the new liberal arts, local application-oriented universities should explore the inter-disciplinarity of foreign language courses and application-oriented professional courses in combination with school-based characteristics and talent training objectives, and establish interdisciplinary curriculum groups. The model proposed in this paper combines the instrumental goal of improving students' language foundation and cross-cultural ability with the humanistic goal of cultivating students' independent learning ability, critical thinking ability and cultural accomplishment, so as to enable regional economic and social development.

In today's rapidly developing economy, the transition from a working society to a leisure society has made the importance of leisure education increasingly prominent. However, due to the narrow educational concept, leisure education has not received the attention it deserves, making it difficult to realize its true educational value. As a life oriented educational activity, leisure education urgently needs to be integrated into school curriculum. From the perspective of Dewey's curriculum theory, this paper explores the direction of curriculum in contemporary leisure education, examines the reflection of real-life concerns such as "cognitive degradation", "temporal and spatial alienation", and "the disappearance of contemplation" in the era, and explores the reconstruction path of integrating leisure education into curriculum based on the theory of activity curriculum.

With the advent of economic globalization leading to cultural globalization, countries are integrating and innovating their indigenous cultures while absorbing and borrowing from the film cultures of other nations. Chinese and Korean New Youth Films employ a multi-genre narrative mode combining "youth" with realism. This paper conducts a comparative study of Chinese new youth film Better Days and the Korean new youth film Next Sohee, exploring the influence of global cultural perspectives on Chinese and Korean New Youth Films from the perspective of death narratives, the realistic application of death narratives in Chinese and Korean New Youth Films, as well as the differentiated narrative strategies of Chinese and Korean New Youth Films. This study further extends to the real significance and value of death imagery in youth films.

The year 2024 marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia. Over the past ten years, the China-Russian Comprehensive Strategic Partnership of Coordination has become increasingly close and deeply rooted in people's minds. The paper reviews the exchanges between China and Russia in the areas of political communication, economic cooperation and cultural exchanges since the 18th CPC National Congress (2012), as well as with the guidance of the strategy of Comprehensive Revitalization of Northeast China and under the background of Harbin’s Booming Winter Tourism, Northeast China makes full use of geographic advantages and resource endowments to play the role of "transfer station" and "bridgehead" in China-Russia economic and trade cooperation and cultural exchanges. What’s more, the paper discusses recommendations of Northeast China in terms of expanding the influence of culture and tourism, creating regional brand characteristics, and optimizing the main body, media and activities of external communication, to put forward a Chinese proposal with characteristics of the Northeast region from the perspective of China-Russian friendly exchanges and cross-cultural communication.

With the advent of the information and network era, new opportunities have emerged for the development of educational and teaching work. In the context of public physical teaching in universities, the rational application of modern information technology based on actual development situations plays a significant role. It can enrich teaching methods, improve teaching efficiency, meet students' diverse learning experiences, and ensure the quality and efficiency of teaching. However, due to objective factors, there are still some problems in the actual application process, such as the limited ability of some teachers to use information technology and the lack of investment in teaching resources, which directly limit the advantages of information technology and even affect the final teaching effectiveness, leading to counterproductive effects. Therefore, in the future development, it is necessary to strengthen the information technology training for teachers, improve their application ability and information literacy, so that they can better integrate modern information technology with physical teaching. When conditions permit, increase the investment in information technology, improve infrastructure construction, and provide necessary hardware support for public physical teaching in universities.

This study aims to analyze Russia’s strategic adjustment to the West under the background of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, and to sort out and analyze the articles related to Russia’s strategic adjustment to the West in Chinese core journals and foreign journals from 2022 to 2024. This paper summarizes the views of domestic and foreign experts and scholars, and believes that since Russia took special military action against Ukraine, the United States and Europe have imposed unprecedented sanctions on Russia. In order to survive and develop the country and maintain its national status and interests, Russia has made a series of strategic adjustments in economy, science and technology, diplomacy and other fields, and made a strong response and counterattack to the Western sanctions policy. To some extent, it has effectively hedged the huge pressure brought by the sanctions, and showed the stability and resistance of Russia’s image as a major country to the international community.

Because in the past environmental design, the breadth and depth of the design that considers the human settlement environment system as a large framework should be included and involved. Therefore, this article analyzes the existing public space and landscape nodes of the public environment of Dali Dong Village, and uses the knowledge of environmental science, sociology, landscape science and other related disciplines to explore the Dong village public environment as the design practice object. It hopes to provide a useful reference for the research on sound landscape design of traditional ethnic minority settlements in my country.

During this period of more than 20 years, China and the United States continued to confront and conflict due to the Cold War and their own interests. However, in the end, due to their respective interests and considerations of national strategic planning, they shook hands and made peace, eventually moving towards normalization and peaceful establishment of diplomatic relations.

As globalization deepens, it brings new opportunities for urban construction. With the acceleration of urban planning processes and the pressures of population growth, higher demands are placed on urban construction. At the same time, rapid developments in science and technology provide new ideas and directions for urban construction. Digital design, as an emerging design concept and technical method, is becoming an important support for future urban construction. By utilizing advanced technologies such as big data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence, digital design can achieve comprehensive optimization of urban planning, architectural design and construction, and urban management and services, bringing revolutionary changes to urban construction. Therefore, this paper explains the technological basis of digital design in current urban construction to provide a background for understanding its application. It then delves into the specific application advantages of digital design in three aspects: urban planning, architectural design and construction, and urban management and services. However, digital design still faces multiple challenges in application, such as technology, security, and privacy issues, which need to be addressed through corresponding strategies. Through in-depth research and practice, it is believed that digital design will bring more sustainable solutions to future urban construction.
