The scientific paper presents a concrete research carried out by the author in order to implement theoretical and practical concepts of a technical-managerial nature, in which aspects of quality and quality management in the field of road vehicle transport are presented. In this way those interested can learn about quality and quality management in the knowledge-based economy, described by increased competition with direct implications for the management of the road transport organisation. The following are aspects of quality and quality management in road transport in the context of market demands and the increasing complexity of the services provided. It also deals with issues related to how the activities and services of road transport organisations are certified in terms of quality and reviews the most important ISO standards used in the certification process of the quality of specific services. The principles and functions of knowledge-based quality management in road transport are defined. They are analysed from both an economic and a knowledge perspective. At the end of the paper it is shown how to implement Total Quality Management (TQM) in a road transport organisation and the conclusions in the field are drawn.

This study describes MedVision, a pioneering healthcare and innovation platform to improve medical education. MedVision uses advanced technologies such as 3D modeling, augmented reality (AR) and smart tests to overcome the limitations of traditional medical education methods. In addition, a 3-D model is available to understand the subjects taught in class, while augmented reality views and a fairly advanced evaluation module are available for interactive teaching. For example, visitors can easily navigate the site with an easy-to-use chat that also helps them get to the information they need. Again, MedVision has a resource download module that aims to promote collaboration between doctors in sharing information. MedVision plans to revolutionize medical education by leveraging its innovative features that will ensure an era of engaging and effective medical training.

Since the existence of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Azerbaijan, Indonesia began to strengthen its relations with Azerbaijan massively through cultural diplomacy through performances as well as cultural events. Furthermore, the cultural diplomacy of Indonesia and Azerbaijan is also conducted through cultural scholarship, the study of the Indonesian language, as well as learning its dances in the embassy for Azeri students. This study aims to describe the importance of Indonesia's cultural diplomacy in Azerbaijan by employing a descriptive quantitative research method in which the data is obtained through the primary survey conducted by the author. The study found that utilising culture in Indonesia’s diplomatic practices in Azerbaijan is a paramount thing to building a strong bond and trust between countries, especially at the young age of the embassy existence in Azerbaijan.

Background: COVID-19 is a highly contagious respiratory tract infection caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS‐CoV‐2), was first identified in China, in December 2019. Almost 10% of the patients develop dermatological manifestations before the onset of respiratory illness, with cutaneous signs that can appear from before to several days after the diagnosis of COVID-19. We believe that the dermatologist can play an important role through early recognition of skin lesions suggestive of COVID-19, particularly in asymptomatic infections where this recognition could direct toward an early diagnosis of infection that certainly leads to a better prognosis. Objective: To explore the pattern of dermatological manifestations among COVID-19 Bangladeshi patients. Materials and Methods: A cross sectional study was carried out May 2020 to October 2021 with COVID 19 positive hospital admitted patients. Data were collected through a group of Dermatologists who were serving at COVID dedicated Hospitals. Dermatologists, who were working in different medical college hospital and health complexes, were attached with the study as research associate. Results: Among the muco-cutaneous findings, maculo-papular eruption 52(53.6%) was the most common, followed by chilblain like eruption 40(41.2%), petechiae or purpura 16 (16.5%), urticarial lesions 13(13.4%), vesicular lesion 10(10.3%), Bilateral conjunctivitis with clear/mucoid discharge 10 (10.3%), aphthous stomatitis 13 (13.4%), Alopecia 16(16.5%), Darkening of the face 13 (13.4%), Eczematoid reaction 13 (13.4%), livedo reticularis like eruption 5(5.2%) etc. Conclusion: The major dermatological patterns of COVID-19 can be classified as inflammatory reactions (maculopapular, urticarial and vesicular rashes), or lesions of vascular origin (chilblain like rashes, petechiae/purpura, and livedo reticularis like pattern).

Old Daha is an adult woman biologically menstruating, until old age. It is said that Daha Tua if his status does not carry out marriage until the end of reproductive ability. So Old Daha was an adult woman until she died with the status of never married. The situation of Old Daha will be set aside by his family members because it is considered a mere burden, so the issue of Old Daha's inheritance rights arises and the distribution of Old Daha's inheritance rights to his heirs in Banjar Dewa Village, Banjar Agung District, Tulang Bawang Regency. This research is empirical normative legal research, with a descriptive type. The problem approach used is a juridical-sociological approach. The data used are secondary data and primary data. Data collection techniques with literature studies and field studies are interviews. Data analysis is used qualitative data analysis. The results showed that Daha Tua in Banjar Dewa Village was not an heir, however, along with the development of the era, parents assumed that Daha Tua was entitled to receive his parents' property while still paying attention to customary law as a guideline that applies in the Balinese customary inheritance system. The distribution of inheritance rights belonging to Daha Tua to his heirs in Banjar Dewa Village will be inherited to heirs who are related to Purusa by blood, such as his chosen brother or by adopting the nephew of his brother as a legitimate child. These efforts were made to get heirs and shelter in old age.

Marriage is the outward and inner bond between a man and a woman as husband and wife to continue their lineage. Marriage in Balinese customs is called pawiwahan. Pawiwahan is a sacred thing in the process of human life from the status of brahmacari to the time of grhasta. Mebyakaon marriage is marriage under the hand. The problem in this study is why mebyakaon marriage is taken by the parties to form a marriage and the legal consequences of mebyakaon marriage on their marital status in the community and the status of children born from this marriage in Rantau Jaya Ilir Village, Putra Rumbia District, Central Lampung Regency. This research is normative-empirical legal research with a descriptive research type. The problem approach used sociological juridical approach with data sources is primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques with literature studies and field studies are interviews with informants and respondents who carry out marriage mebyakaon. Data analysis is qualitative analysis. The results of research and discussion show that the reason for the marriage is caused by several factors, namely economic factors, educational factors, mutual demen, parental desire factors, and the factor of men who are still legally married to other women. The marital status of mebyakaon is not the same as traditional Balinese marriage in general, what distinguishes it from mebyakaon marriage is that it lies in a traditional procession that has not been carried out completely. Based on the decisions and decrees of Parisadha Hindu Dharma Indonesia (PHDI), the validity of marriage is determined on condition that Tri Upasaksi. The legal position of mebyakaon marriage does not have a strong binding force so that this marriage may not have the same legal status as traditional Balinese married couples in general. Similarly, the legal consequences of marriage will be different. Couples who perform mebyakaon marriage may not enter the temple and participate in the massacre in the village because mebyakaon marriage is valid according to the parties only but, according to Balinese customary law this marriage is invalid and children born from mebyakaon marriage are extramarital children (anak astra) and marital property in mebyakaon marriage There is no legal certainty and there is no mixing of property between husband and wife.

This study evaluates the role of dutasteride in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia. A prospective, open-labeled interventional study conducted at the Department of Dermatology and Venereology, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), Dhaka from April 2023 to March 2024. Men with Androgenetic alopecia (AGA) who did not show significant improvement when treated with finasteride at a dose of 1 mg/d for at least six months were enrolled. Ninety patients were recruited after taking informed consent. Patients were treated with dutasteride at a dose of 0.5 mg daily for 24 weeks. Clinical assessment was performed by dermatologists and subjective evaluation of overall assessment was done based onchanges in the size of the vertex spot, hair loss on top of the scalp, bitemporal recession, the amount of hair shedding and hair quality on a 3-point rating scale (increased, no change, or decreased). The mean age of study patients was 36.3±12 years and majority of the patients 30(33.3%) belonged to the age group 41- 50 years with followed by 27(30.0%) in the age group 31-40 years. Regarding subjective evaluation of overall assessment, in case of change in size of vertex spot, majority 77(85.6%) showed decreased, in case of hair loss from top of scalp, majority 83(92.2%) reported decreased, in case of bitemporal recession, majority 82(91.1%) showedno change, in case of hair shedding, majority 87(96.7%) showed decreased and in case of hair quality, 85(94.4%) reported increased and no patient reported of decreased. Regarding clinical assessment of investigator that majority of the patients 40(44.5%) was moderately improved (+2), followed by 30(33.3%) was greatly improved (score of +3), 18(20.0%) was slightly improved (+1) and only 2(2.2%) was unchanged (0). Among the ninety patients of androgenetic alopecia, 3(3.3%) showed decreased libido and 2(2.2%) showed erectile dysfunction. The study concluded that dutasteride is effective and safe in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia. This study will provide the therapeutic basis for dutasteride as an alternative treatment option for patients with AGA recalcitrant to finasteride over six months. Therefore, dutasteride will become a treatment of choice for androgenetic alopecia (AGA) in near future.

Regarding subjective evaluation of overall assessment, in case of change in size of vertex spot, majority 77(85.6%) showed decreased, in case of hair loss from top of scalp, majority 83(92.2%) reported decreased, in case of bitemporal recession, majority 82(91.1%) showedno change, in case of hair shedding, majority 87(96.7%) showed decreased and in case of hair quality, 85(94.4%) reported increased and no patient reported of decreased. Regarding clinical assessment of investigator that majority of the patients 40(44.5%) was moderately improved (+2), followed by 30(33.3%) was greatly improved (score of +3), 18(20.0%) was slightly improved (+1) and only 2(2.2%) was unchanged (0). Among the ninety patients of androgenetic alopecia, 3(3.3%) showed decreased libido and 2(2.2%) showed erectile dysfunction. The study concluded that dutasteride is effective and safe in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia. This study will provide the therapeutic basis for dutasteride as an alternative treatment option for patients with AGA recalcitrant to finasteride over six months. Therefore, dutasteride will become a treatment of choice for androgenetic alopecia (AGA) in near future.","PeriodicalId":517256,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced Multidisciplinary Research and Studies","volume":" 31","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140997183","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Crop insurance is a formal mechanism of risk management to farmers exposed to a similar type of risk in agricultural production. It is a means to protect the cultivators against financial loss on account of anticipated crop loss which might arise out of uncontrollable natural calamities such as natural fire, weather, floods, pests, diseases etc. In West Bengal, various crop insurance schemes have been implemented so far. The common aim of the schemes is to provide financial support to farmers in the event of crop failure and stabilize farm production and income of the farming community. This is the motivation behind the study. The study has been conducted among farmers of Hooghly district in West Bengal to understand their perception of efficacy of crop insurance schemes. Respondents include both insured and non-insured farmers. The mean age of the farmers with crop insurance was 43.18±16.13 years and the mean age of the ones without crop insurance was 44.22±18.07 years respectively (p=0.62). All respondents were males with full ownership of farms. The mean size of the farms was 5.95±3.28 bigha. A total number of 60 farmers were selected randomly out of which 30 farmers were with crop insurance and rest 30 were without crop insurance. Among the risk management strategies adopted for the destruction of crops, sale/ mortgage of land, sale of livestock and government relief were higher among non-insured farmers as compared to insured farmers (p>0.05).

Ambon banana peel (Musa Paradisiaca L) contains flavonoids, tannins, terpenoids and saponins which have potential to be in the wound healing process. One of topical preparations suitable for wound healing is ointment. The ointment base can affect the release of active substances and absorption in the skin layers, since the release of the drug from its base is an important factor in the success of therapy. The aim of this study was to analyze the effect of base type variations on the physicochemical properties of ointments from banana peel methanol extract nanoemulsions. Ambon banana peel extract was obtained by maceration using methanol solvent and made in the form of a nanoemulsion. Ambon banana peel extract nanoemulsion is then added to the ointment preparation with water-soluble, absorption and hydrocarbon base types. Ointments with variations in base types were observed for physicochemical properties including organoleptic, homogeneity, viscosity, pH and spreadability. The data obtained were analyzed statistically using One Way ANOVA. The results showed that variations in base type affected on organoleptic appearance, viscosity and spreadability but had no effect on the pH value and homogeneity. The absorption base produces a formula that meets the requirements for ointment preparations.
