There are numerous stock indices in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Several of them are LQ-45, MBX, DBX, JII, SRI-KEHATI, PEFINDO-25, BISNIS-27, IDX-30 and KOMPAS-100. Unfortunately there are limited researches which have been done to measure those indices performance specifically. The same condition also occurs on risk aversion level usage in Indonesia Stock Exchange, only few numbers of researches use this measurement in the portfolio valuation. Based on that, this research measured the performance and risk aversion rate of those indices in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results of this study were SRI-KEHATI becomes the best performer with the highest risk aversion rate, while Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) produces the lowest positive performance with the lowest risk aversion rate. This finding shows that sharia stocks’ characters (i.e. usury free) could give relieveness and convenience regardless its performance.

Gunung Santubong National Park (GSNP) is one of the attractions in Sarawak that needs attention for conservation. A contingent valuation method of survey was conducted to estimate the conservation value of GSNP and to elicit the willingness to pay among respondents. Through the random survey, the estimated mean of willingness to pay for conservation fee per respondent was RM8.41. With the number of visitors of 24066 in year 2016, it is estimated that there is an additional RM 202,395.06 that could be used for the improvement in environmental conservation. This study shows that contingent valuation method is a useful tool to guide decision makers in policy purposes of natural resources management of protected area in developing countries.

This study investigated the relationship between reward management and motivation to perform job. A quantitative survey method was employed to collect self-administered questionnaires from employees who work at government departments in Klang Valley, Peninsular Malaysia. The outcomes of linear regression analysis showed three important findings: first, communication was positively and significantly correlated with motivation to perform job. Second, participation was positively and significantly correlated with mo-tivation to perform job. Third, performance appraisal was positively and significantly correlated with motiva-tion to perform job. This result confirms that communication, participation and performance appraisal is im-portant determinants of motivation to perform job in the organizational sample. Further, discussion, implyca-tions and conclusions are elaborated.

The global trend of second-hand clothing (SHC) consumption is significantly increasing and unstoppable. This trend has made, and will continue to make, a huge impact in the clothing industry in virtually every part of the world. However, the number of studies on SHC are still limited and more importantly, the findings are mixed and inconclusive. This study investigates the trend in SHC research between 1990 and 2014. 131 published academic articles from different disciplines were collected and content analyzed and the results indicate that SHC research was highly focused on the topics of consumption behavior, textile disposal behavior, and SHC trading related issues. In addition, the results also show that SHC research was mainly conducted from the consumers’ point of view. With the increasing interest in SHC, this study attempts to develop a better understanding of SHC phenomena and provide clear future research directions to scholars in designing SHC related research.

The capability of service providers to plan and implement the quality components in executing daily job may have a significant impact on customer loyalty. However, the role of service quality as an important determinant has been given less attention in the workplace quality research literature. Therefore, this study was undertaken to measure the relationship between service quality and customer loyalty. A survey method was employed to collect data from Malaysian soldiers who involved in peacekeeping missions at Middle Eastern country. The outcomes of SmartPLS path model analysis demonstrate that the ability of organization to appropriately implement tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy in executing daily job has been important determinants of customer loyalty. Further, this study provides discussion, implications and conclusion.
